We had a lovely evening with friends. I like the way the staff smile and greet us when we arrive. I appreciate having the door held open when we leave. The staff gave us enough time to settle in, order drinks and then take a food order. There was no pressure on us to be quick. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. All food allergies catered for. We shall definitely be eating here again.

Our first visit! Extensive menu offering plenty of choice across meal groups. Our party included two 'fussy eaters' and still they had plenty of options. Food was wonderful. Try the Special Risotto!!

Took my adult girls here for lunch. Ordered a variety of starters, mains and desserts. Including a perfectly cooked steak. All delicious, with excellent service. Gluten-free and vegan requirements were all well catered for. Did have soft drinks, but the bill was still only £120 for 4. Absolutely recommend.

Veneziaa is always amazing! I love the food there, and the drink selection and the service is always the best. If you are in Burton Upon Trent - this is the place to eat!

I have been going to Veneziaa for years and it is always so good! My favourite is the salmon or steak pasta but all of the food has always been really tasty! I have been here with family, friends or on dates and have always been very happy with everything. The service is really good!

Absolutely stunning place. We didn’t book a table but that didn’t matter the staff sat us at a table and were great. We were served quickly, they were very polite and professional and always had a smile on their face The food was out of this world. It came quickly, the portion sizes were very large and the taste was perfection. As a table of 4 we all ordered differently and all had the same opinion. They catered for specific dietary needs and made it feel as if nothing was too much trouble. I normally don’t order a desert from a restaurant however the desert menu was just too tempting and with the way the evening was going I was sure my pana cotta would be lovely, and it was. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I think the title of this review tells you exactly what I thought of the place. Started with a mixed sharing platter, then onto a pasta dish, followed by tiramisu. Every single course was beautiful, staff were amazing, the venue was nice. All in all a great experience. I'm currently visiting the top 20 restaurants in Staffordshire (as at 01/01/2023) this was 16th on the list, definetly deserves to be higher than that. Had a great time

Food quality is good but £10 for the prawn starter and 3 prawns is to be quite honest an absolute pee take, sausage and chorizo starter the same, more half tomato than meat , been going there for years, previous premises and current premises, but after tonight I think I'll go elsewhere in terms of value for money

The food is always good, I usually have the same thing, but myfriends change their options when we go. None of them has ever complained. I have taken my family too, and it is always good. The staff are always delightful and helpful too.

Used to go to Veneziaa at its old location and absolutely loved the food, the ambiance, staff. Went in last night and it was louder than a school canteen. So so noisy couldn’t stay, staff were polite as always but within 10 minutes of arrival we had decided to leave. Music far too loud and was just not good unfortunately as we loved the old location. Sadly disappointed

Ordered the risotto and it was more like a soup or a savoury rice pudding. Not good at all. Could only eat half of it. They took it off the bill and others enjoyed their food but still incredibly overpriced for the quality.

Best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to, food and service are excellent! Choices of portions sizes so if there’s more than one you would like to try you can opt for starter size and try many. Portions are a good size too!

Had to ask for someone to take our order and how long our drinks were going to be? One of our group had a pizza which did not look like resturant pizza, looked very cheap and poor, and two of us had bad guts over night. Wont be visiting again.

Was looking for somewhere decent in Burton to celebrate a family birthday & after looking at all the reviews, chose Veneziaa and so glad we did. The atmosphere (a busy Thursday) service, food & drinks were all fantastic and they even brought out a tiny Pana Cotta with a candle in at the end. Will definitely return.

Nice enough food and the people we were with made the experience very good. Prices were too high for the quality of the food. The service was slow and a bit unfriendly, we asked questions but staff were unsure of answers (saying the parmesan was vegetarian but then after checking, saying it was not vegetarian). Staff were also not very attentive and avoided eye contact when trying to ask for more service.

Nice enough, went for the Christmas menu and the food was good. Service was good and the food was delivered to the table at a good pace without forcing the pace. Had time after the meal to sit and just chat and drink. I did eat quite early in the evening so that might be why the atmosphere was a little flat but I would return and would recommend giving it a try.

We had a night out with the team from the workplace. We were 13, and we had to pre-order the food. I had spaghetti boloniese, but they taste a lot like water. Very nice atmosphere and service but the food is not great.

Really lovely food except for the chips . When ordering steak and chips, the chips are 50% of your meal - so they should be cooked to the same standard - sadly these were awful.Not crispy or tasty - seemed to have been dried out in an oven ((We didn’t complain as it spoils the evening ) Staff were great . We would return as everything else was great (but would avoid the terrible chips )

The restaurant is clean and there is a good atmosphere. The service is friendly and efficient. I ordered the ravioli alla provinciale for my main course and the chocolate and salted caramel sundae for dessert. Both were delicious.

We booked Veneziaa to celebrate a Birthday and booked for a table of 6. The staff were courteous & professional & the menu choice was comprehensive. Our meals were served quickly which we all very much enjoyed & were all delicious. This is the second time we've dined here and we will be going back again in the future.

This is my second time at this restarant and again the food and atmosphere was amazing, the staff also served us with a smile. would recomend to others.

We were bought a voucher as a present and hadn't eaten here before. In all honesty, Italian isn't our favourite food. Upon arrival all the staff were very friendly and the service excellent. The atmosphere was great and it was busy on an early doors Bank Holiday Sunday night. We both had a starter and a main. The food was absolutely delicious. We will both be back and would highly recommend.

I'm very happy to share our enjoyable experience at Veneziaa restaurant in Burton. Although not situated in the one of the prettiest locations in Burton once you step in you can see this is a restaurant where care and attention have been made in creating a pleasant ambiance for dining. We started with olives and halloumi. The olives were perfectly marinated, offering a burst of Mediterranean flavors in every bite. The halloumi, grilled to perfection, was a delightful combination of creamy and savory. Moving on to the main course, we tried the pizza and pasta dishes. The pizza boasted a thin, crispy crust with fresh toppings. It was evident that high-quality ingredients were used, and the food had been correctly seasoned - A+. The pasta was cooked al dente and generously coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. Two thumbs up for the pasta as well! We chose the ice cream cheesecake dessert for afters which we shared. The velvety smoothness of the ice cream paired flawlessly with the indulgent cheesecake, creating a sweet conclusion to our meal. Beyond the food, the restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a memorable meal. The attentive staff added to the overall positive experience, ensuring that we were happy with the food. We rounded off with coffee which was authentic Italian. In total, just under £30/head. In summary, we thought Veneziaa was a gem - highly recommended - we can't wait to return.

We visited on a Tuesday evening as i had a birthday voucher to use. We both had the Filleto Gorgonzola with souteed potatos and vegetables. The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. We followed this with a large portion of Tiramisu which was also fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly. We definitely will be returning.

Lovely open place good friendly staff and the food was great

Never been here before but found it on Google and through we would give it a try. Was really impressed with the food, we all had pasta and we shared a player starter. The starter was a bit meh, not enough bread for the bits that came with it and the bread was a bit boring, like a shop bought roll cut into slices. Wouldn’t order it again. The kids enjoyed the pasta and my wife and I had pasta dishes, salmon and prawn and both we enjoyed. Was just a quick early dinner with the kids so didn’t get a desert. Would definitely go back, maybe try some of the other starters and pizza. 4.5 out of 5 from me. Best Italian we have been to in Burton to be honest.

We had another excelent meal at this establishment this evening. This time it was for a birthday. Always good food and good service.

Discuss dining room with semi booths, open areas to cater small and large group. Service is attentive not intrusive. Friendly staff even helping with photographs voluntarily. Good selection of food to appeal to vegetarians also. We had garlic bread and breaded mushrooms for starters. Well presented, cooked and tasty. Mains were mushroom risotto, penne speciale and vegetarian pizza. Chef accommodated or request to avoid truffle oil in risotto and extra spice for the penne. Both dishes were well made, penne was slightly over cooked. We didn't like vegetarian pizza. Base was not up to the expectation.

Venezzia is the best restaurant in Burton. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, it’s the only place in Burton we go to for a meal.
