We shared the tomato Bruschetta and king prawns to start, then the cheese garlic bread and salmon pappardelle for main- everything was amazing definitely recommend the pasta! The loveliest staff, always love visiting and having a chat :))

We attended a family meal for our nephew’s birthday on Sunday evening. He was quite late arriving so we sat down 30 minutes after our booked time, no issue at all for the staff. No pressure to get our food order, very relaxed. We have eaten here a few times before and it’s always been good; this time was no exception. Prompt service, delicious food, plentiful portions without being too much, I can personally recommend the mussels and meatballs. Others in our party had pizzas and they looked delicious too. Wine was good quality and the meal was overall very good value for money. Would recommend and will return.

Visited here on a Friday evening with no reservation, but a table was available in the outside marquee. Food was great, the mussels starter was excellent. Service was ok and the outside marquee is a great extension to the pub, but the temperature swings from hot to cold as the heater comes on and off. Parking fulls up quick, but there is plenty of road parking. Certainly worth a visit.

The food is fantastic so is the service. We spent amazing Mothers day evening. Food was very well presented. Special Mothers day menu was fantastic.

What is there to fault about this place.. We absolutely love the Bridge Inn and it is our trusted go to in Burton. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and will go above and beyond to ensure a lovely visit each time (which tends to be once a week). I am very surprised to see some negative reviews as we genuinely have never had a bad meal here, the food is always fresh and very tasty, with the added extra of new specials to try each week. Would recommend giving this place a try as you won’t regret it!

What a place! Fantastic food and great service! The staff are lovely and very helpful! The food on the main menu is delicious and fairly priced. The constantly changing specials are a delightful treat as each visit you can not guess what will be on the specials. We have yet to try something that has not been a delight. Our daughter (6) absolutely loves coming here! Especially with trying all the new unique dishes.

Amazing food atmosphere and staff

Went for my birthday yesterday and had a great time. The food was delicious, staff were friendly and made a great fuss of our two dogs and had a great old fashioned cocktail.

Nice little pub, quiet when we visited late afternoon, excellent food, good sized portions and attentive wait staff, only complaint was the lack of bitter on offer but that seems to be the way many pubs and restaurants are going

Great Visit with my colleagues on Thursday Night, the 5 of us enjoyed various foods, the mussels were delicious and the Steak Diane was simply the best. although to much for me I ashamedly left most my chips !!

At short notice after losing a good friend, we asked this venue if they could accommodate 15 of us on a Saturday afternoon. Not only did they accommodate us, but the food and service was absolutely superb as well as being great value for money. Highly recommend this place

Called here yesterday whilst travelling home from York. Found it to be a real treasure for lunch We had the 3 course lunch and were both very pleased with our selection and enjoyed them very much. Will definitely visit again whenever in the area. GREAT - ENJOY IT. Some pictures my took of her courses, I just got on with eating mine!

We came for a lovely large family meal / gathering for my partners birthday. Sitting in the Marquee, it was lovely and warm in the middle temperatures. The staff were very accommodating, especially with having some young children in the group too. And, as I per usual experience with the food, it was excellent, delicious. With being a large group of us, not one meal was cold and all the family commented about the quality. Thankyou so much ❤️

Very pleasant place very good service. I found my soup didn't taste of mushrooms. My main disappointing and dessert lack flavour. Others with me happy with their food. But mine could have been better.

Loved everything about our meal! You could tell that the food was fresh and made with love, and the servers were really friendly! I definitely recommend the Tiramisu and the Cannelloni Spinaci. Both were delicious, and the Cannelloni arrived piping hot.

Food here is amazing as always! Relaxed, proper pub but with great Italian based food. Try prawns in tomato sauce as a starter, home made tomato sauce. Pizza are homemade and fresh too. Should not be leaving this review as we won’t get a table next time! Xx

The bridge inn is an authentic pub serving homemade Italian food and pizzas. Local to us, we have never had a bad meal, favourite is starter of prawns in spicy tomato sauce with home made bread sticks . Just book, you won’t be disappointed.x

The staff could not do more for us on our visit! We had a table inside the bar to start but after asking about the marquee the waitress was very friendly and found us a table. The service all night was outstanding, the food was excellent and we very much enjoyed our evening meal at the Bridge Inn. We look forward to our next visit!

Ordered the chicken supreme. Chicken, tortellini, cream sauce, Parma ham, mushrooms. Absolutely delicious. Best meal out in a long time. We will be coming back.

this is a small gem we found on way to alton towers. the staff were super friendly and very very efficient. the food were tasty and authentic with some innovative specials. Even on a busy Sat evening we were served timely and everything came much quicker than expected. highly recommended.

Takeaway I’ve not been here for a few months probably 18 months, my last takeaway was outstanding authentic pizzas, I decided to go back oh dear that was a mistake. I ordered two pizzas one with Prosciutto ham I specifically requested this ham, home opened and found British style ham cut into small pieces It did not taste of prosciutto at all because it wasn’t, to add to my disappointment the pizza base was also tasteless I would state in my opinion that it was a strong U.K. bread flour. I remember the pizza’s to be fluffy pillowy, not now these were flat and thin. Sadly I won’t return

Visited here late on Friday evening after scouring the internet trying to find somewhere suitable for my daughter & I to have dinner. I rang ahead just to check that they were still serving, the man with very friendly on the phone & said yes we could come. When we arrived he had prepared a table for us with a cushion for my little girl which was a nice touch! The smell of food as we walked across the car park was so nice & as we walked in past other diners, it all looked amazing. Our food did not disappoint! My lasagne was amazing, as was the cheesy garlic bread that I had as a size - lightly cooked just as I like it. I was so full, I couldn’t finish all of the garlic bread, which was such a shame as it was so nice! The staff were all very friendly. We heard the chef shouting, so he is clearly genuinely Italian! 🤭 which explains why the food is so good. Would definitely recommend & hope to visit again sometime if we come to the area again!

We love this place and are here very regularly, the portions are very generous and value for money is brilliant. The staff are fantastic and the food is exceptional. We booked the marquee for our wedding reception in May and had a beautiful hog roast. We had a number of Vegan and Vegetarian guests and the team were more than happy to accommodate and make the menu flexible to cater for this.. The Bridge Inn helped to make our day extra special and everybody loved the food and atmosphere :D

Went for a birthday lunch. Had a fantastic time and the food was lovely!!

Decided to try somewhere different from our usual local pubs. Positives- good location, very cosy seating inside & quick service. Husband had the steak which was beautifully presented and very good value for money. He had no complaints with quality and taste of his meal. Not so positive - I had the lasagne which came with no chips or salad, paid extra for these. Lasagne OK but certainly not worth what I paid. Two Waitresses came to clean table next door to where we were sitting and both sprayed lots of very smelly cleaning product which landed on our table and lingered in air for quite a while, which not great when you're eating. Whilst I appreciate tables need to be cleaned and when seating so close it may be hard to avoid this happening, I did however think wipes may be more suitable and affect the eating experience of neighbouring tables much less.

I had the 24oz pork rib. It was delicious but I couldn't finish it. All the party had equally delicious meals and consumed them. Some even went on to have desserts. Very good food and service 👌

Went here yesterday (May 11) with wife & Dad, for second time in 18 months. Reassuringly as good as the last time. Wife had carbonara, Dad had pizza, and I had chicken parmigiana. We all had amaretto crème caramel for dessert. A great meal, all freshly cooked, and excellent service. Thoroughly recommend !

We booked a table for 2 last Friday and had a fabulous meal in this little gem of a pub restaurant. They have a development menu where they assess how popular a new dish will be before they decide to include in the full, established menu. The Tarragon Salmon certainly made the grade in my opinion! Absolutely amazing! Great Italian food at a decent price . Highly recommended!!!

We had a family meal on Sunday lunchtime for six adults and four children to jointly celebrate two wedding anniversaries and a birthday! The staff were friendly, hard working, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They even rang beforehand to ask if we would prefer to sit inside rather than in the marquee as it was so cold and blowy. The food was delicious. A varied menu with something for everyone. We recommend the Bridge to everyone, we really enjoyed ourselves and are already thinking about when to return.

Food is always perfect. We dine here 3-4 times a year. Best food in Burton. Never disappointed. Would recommend 11/10

Meal quality excellent , they did forget one of the meals , so late. My biggest upset is the ribeye steak is on a cold plate mixed into cold salad , so comes out cold and pre cut. But steak was cooked perfectly. Just lack of delivery on this occasion.

We love this place! I’ve always put off leaving a review as selfishly I don’t want everyone going and I can’t get a table. The food is consistently great and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We have never had a bad meal/negative experience or anything to grumble about. We’ve tried pretty much every restaurant within 10 miles and this is our favourite.

We’ve eaten at the Bridge Inn numerous times and always enjoy our visit. The food is amazing, always delicious, great service and a cosy atmosphere. I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu but I love the seafood risotto the best. They also are great with food intolerance and do a fantastic gluten free pizza. I recommend you book as it’s small and always busy!
