Lovely meal, great service from very friendly staff. Good value for money. The staff are excellent.

Went for a meal Saturday night. Seemed OK. Not licensed, bring your own alcohol. Food was excellent except the "sizzler" was served on a cold plate, what's that all about.? When I questioned it he properly took the huff. In fact none of it was particularly warm. As soon as we'd finished he brought the bill. Bad language group of lads next to us didn't help the atmosphere but that's not the restaurant's fault.

Everything to praise and nothing to fault about this Indian restaurant. Excellent choice of food all of which is cooked to perfection. Don't forget to take your own drinks

Good food, good portions, good prices. But if busy, the restaurant is very loud- really bad acoustics -so have to shout, like being in a busy pub.

We had booking at 8pm - arrived told running behind and come back in 15 minutes. Returned and waited another 30 minutes before leaving - the host sat other people down. Awful service - will not return

Booked last minute on a Saturday night with no issues. It was very busy when we arrived and it did take some time to take our order and bring the food, but it was busy and the staff were constantly on the move bringing food out and clearing away, so I’m not marking them down for this. We didn’t mind waiting as it was a good atmosphere there. The food I have to say was worth the wait, it was absolutely delicious. The best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant in a long time. This place was quite the contrast to the one across the road we visited two weeks prior. They don’t serve alcohol there but you can take your own. This wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking (online) or on the confirmation, but it didn’t bother us, just handy for those who plan to have a drink with their meal to know beforehand. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, would definitely return.

The best Indian in town! Food is always fantastic, hot and delicious. Eating in or getting a takeaway, it does not matter when it comes to Pickles, the food is great either way! Highly recommend the Garlic Sizzler when eating in! The staff are always helpful and quick with a recommendation if you're not sure as to what to eat

Lovely indian food, very busy place.

I went in today with my husband for the first time. I have a nut allergy and Indian food can have alot of nuts and I always feel awkward when ordering. When I went in to ask I was told they don't use peanuts in any dishes and I could choose anything off the menu! Ive never been so happy. The guy was very helpful in helping me choose something to my taste. I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely excellent Indian, very friendly staff they are always in for a chat and a laugh and delicious food. If you want to try something different just have a chat with the waiters they don't disappoint you with their picks. Our go to place whenever we want Indian, either to pickup or eat out

Have visited twice in the last month. First visit was to check it out as a couple. They understand gluten free and can talk comfortably about their menu. The food was excellent. The second visit was for a party of 14. Again, the service was great, the food lovely and everyone enjoyed their meals. They also allowed us to take our own birthday cake. They are not licenced to sell alcohol but you can take your own as we did.

Delicious food and great service. If you want booze, take your own, they do not have an alcohol licence but that should not put you off because the food is gorgeous, it's almost always busy, which is a good advert!

I had a phone call from Pickles(call comes up on the screen as Pickles Indian restaurant...) I was bit confused here but I picked up,lady with Indian accent ask "how are you today" 😅 she's been calling from PC Currys World offering me a scam but when I asked why she's calling from Take Away she hang up and didn't answer my calls back. Very disappointed. Poor scam quality.

First time ordering. Delivered quickly on a Sunday. Delivery person was respectful. Requires cash payment or card details over the phone. Food was great! I love British Indian food and this really hit the mark. Given free poppadoms and salad. I tried the Mango Chicken and wasn't disappointed. Very similar to a Masala. Sweet. Portions were a good size, easy two meals per curry/rice. Naans were tasty.

I have to admit since living in Market Drayton for about 7 years I've never been in this restaurant we've always had Chinese takeaways. So we decided on a change and I'm glad we did. The staff are friendly, the food was fantastic and although we only had a takeaway collected by ourselves the restaurant was busy so that speaks for itself. Had to wait 30 mins for our takeaway but it was well worth the wait for freshly cooked food. The chef is top notch. And waiting 30 mins wasn't a problem as we nipped in the William Chester pub for a pint. Highly recommended and will definitely use this restaurant / takeaway again. Top notch

Ordered a takeaway for delivery - going on an hour late so i rang to ask them what was going on for them to say there has been a delay and it will be 10 minutes. Another 30 minutes past and the order had still not been delivered. No call to explain what was going on, nothing. It eventually turned up the food was cold bland and the chips were soggy. Won't be using ever again that's for sure.

Lovely, friendly, polite staff, very helpful - explaining how hot 🔥 certain dishes are. Really tasty dishes. My partner and I were staying over night in Market Drayton- a great find! Would highly recommend! They didn't serve alcohol, but that didn't bother us.

Absolutely amazing food here. It's become abit pricey as has everywhere. But the food makes up for it. Great staff, great atmosphere. Also if you spend over £15 they'll deliver for free within a certain distance.

We were a table of 10. We all had starters, ranging from poppadoms to onion bhajhi, chicken chaat and chicken tikka, and clean plates showed how much we all enjoyed them. Main courses were a range of Chicken Tikka Masala ordered by 5 in the group, a Chicken Jalfrezi, a Chicken Madras, a Chicken Naga, a Chicken Tikka and a Prawn Jalfa which was quite hot and spicy that had green chillies in it and plenty of prawns in it too. Steamed rice, pilau rice, chips and naan breads accompanied the meals. If you are thinking of visiting I would highly recommend. Bring your own alcohol as there is no bar. They serve cola or lemonade and you can also have water with your meal.

Tried this place for 1st time tonight, we each had curry, naan rice and chips and it was gorgeous. The food is amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone who is fancying Indian food. The gentleman we met were all very lovely people too. We didn't eat in but the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere to it and will be eating in soon.

Superb restaurant, Superb food, staff are excellent, really get well looked after and feel at home. Take your own beer which makes it cheaper, this is and always will be our go to Indian Restaurant. Lived in the west mids most of my life and this is the best.

Staying in Market Drayton for a few days. We happened across Pickles. Unlicensed which is a bonus. Food is fab. Staff lovely. Can't do enough for you. Highly recommended.

We’re on holiday at Norton in Hales. It’s always a worry ordering from a restaurant you don’t know however the food here was is amazing. Delivered within the time they said. Nice easy website to order with. We chose them because of their other good reviews.

Pickles is right up there with the best Indian food. The guys are switched on- never get your order wrong. The best in town is an understatement- you’d struggle to find better than this in the county. Great atmosphere for dining in too.

Paneerof the top Indian restaurants in Shropshire. Certainly the best in North Shropshire. Dishes taste the same every time, authentic Indian cuisine with spices cooked out. Excellent Poppadoms, Naans, etc. Rice also superb as light & fluffy. Try Tandoori Paneer as a starter. Top main dishes for me are North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken. Try a Bahar, lovely flavour of cooked out spices & home made garlic pickle. And very good value, winner, winner, just remember to take a bottle as only sell water & pop!

Rubbish service booked a table in advance then asked to come back in half an hour waited ages to place order the food was average both myself and my wife ill all night and the next day we both had lamb our friends had chicken they were not ill afterwards like we were. Abrupt service and as a whole the evening was well below average this is the second time i have had a bad experience here customer service leaves alot to be desired we will not be going again well done pickles you have completely lost our custom

My husband and I absolutely love the food and staff at Pickles. The food is amazing and freshly cooked. The staff are the most friendliest and polite people ever. 10/10 would definitely recommend it. Also take your own alcohol which makes it a very cheap evening.

We travel to this place. It's our 'go to' Indian restaurant. Never had a bad meal and are always introducing friends and family to it. Can get busy, especially weekends, so do book.

After my first visit, this is now my favourite Indian restaurant and I been back every week, taking friends with me. Not only the food tasting great, it's the attentive service which you receive which makes it. A chocolate naan on the menu went down well with the kids.

My wife and myself visited Pickles while in Market Drayton on business on a weekday evening, we popped in at about 19:30 on spec so they were relatively quiet, we were instantly shown to a table by a young gentleman, their approach to the customer was absolutely spot on. "So polite". This is a non alcohol retaurant to which you are allowed to take along your own tipple, maybe try popping into the new public house (The William Chester) which is a few doors away first! Our food came to the table and it was magnificent, it was NOT greasy at all as indeed many Indians are.. the steamed rice is perfect.
