The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Friday night 29th. Pay day. Why the heck have you hired a Karaoke?? You have emptied the pub, overstaffed and spent money needlessly. You may enjoy it but it would appear your clientele do not. If I were your Regional Manager I would be asking some serious questions. Compare tonight's takings with last week's.

Food is really good and a good price, nice old building in line with what I expected from Warwick itself as an area. The staff were so good as I have fussy children and they bent over backwards to accomodate them

We went into the Wacky Warehouse on a sunny day with the family, and we were served by Ella who was very polite and welcoming, after we went for some food and drinks in the restaurant where Vikki and Kelly served us, amazing service and was great with our younger children. Lovely atmosphere and staff, we will definitely be returning.

Went here Saturday 22/2/2025 for birthday our friends treated us stafe were ok been here a few times but I've never seen what I seen before I always have beef but did not have any this time cause when they cut it there was blood coming out terrible and and told my friend I was with about it now she been sick this morning and direa no doubt why had to get her some medication never had this before

Went into the Phantom Coach for a family meal and could see the place was heaving. We weren’t too worried as the service was very quick despite how busy it was. The staff were very efficient and friendly towards myself and other guests. We will most definitely be visiting again

The food and drink was good, but our time in there was completely spoiled by a handful of extremely loud customers. We sat as far away from them as possible, but had to keep stopping our conversation as we couldn't hear each other speak. We made our point to the person clearing our table, who said she would speak to the manager. However, I am of the view that, as long as people keep spending money, nothing will be done to make it a better experience for the majority of people who simply want to eat and drink in a pleasant atmosphere.

A absolutely beautiful garden centre with lots a beautiful things to buy. But the problem was the waitress in the cafe. The food itself was delicious. Served quickly and piping hot. But the older waitress was abrupt rude and miserable. Oh my if she had cracked a smile it would have been a miracle. She must hate her job as everything seemed to be a issue for her. So sad to leave a negative review as we really enjoyed everything else.

Ordered a delivery. Pros: meat was great. Cheesecake was great. Cons: Yorkshire pudding was like hard foam, roast potatoes not cooked through, vegetables and mash very bland, chocolate brownie very small portion without the stated fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Overall they went for quantity over quality as there was far too much food. Halfpenny Farm it is from now on.

Organizamos un almuerzo dominical para la familia para celebrar el 90 cumpleaños de mamá. El equipo fue muy servicial en la planificación del menú y lo hizo una ocasión muy especial. Muchas gracias a Phil el chef que atendió tan bien a los veganos en la fiesta, realmente lo hizo especial. Todo el mundo realmente disfrutó de la comida y fue muy bueno ¿qué más se puede pedir!

Coffee machine filthy yet still being used. No food available only cake and drinks. Very disappointed

Great food and amazing no staff! I visit here about 3-4 times per week with work and always eat in the restaurant. The food is consistently good. I’m so glad they have started offering jacket potatoes they are amazing. Emma who serves them is great, she is really friendly and full of energy!

Popped in for a cone of chips. Was given a poly box full! Top quality and tasty and some of great length. Other chip shops who serve chips like batter bits take note! Friendly lady serving and nice and hot.

Walking in to the cafe, it appears to be quite sparse. I arrived at around 9:30am and the place was 1/3 full of people. Lots of hard furnishings so I don’t know how noisy this place could get when full - but was completely fine with the level of chatter I experienced in here. I ordered a flat white and warm banana bread. I was served by a very welcoming young lady at the till, who promptly brought my order to me when I sat down. The banana cake and coffee were both tasty and just what I needed. I feel the place could do with a bit of TLC and attention to detail. Ie. The way menus and leaflets are left on tables. The way high chairs are stacked etc. it isn’t visually and aesthetically pleasing. Which is ok for some, but if you’re after a cosy warm relaxing cafe - this isn’t quite it. But it could be.

Had a meal with my sister for her birthday and the food was delicious seared with a smile and good value for money will definitely be coming back

Great service. The staff are always super nice and helpful. Food is great for the price too. Kids eat free 🙏🏻
