Very much style over substance.
Perfect for Instagram, however, at a closer look money needs to be spent on the finer details.
Granted we had afternoon tea on a Tuesday lunchtime, it was fairly quiet. Only two other ladies in the garden on a beautiful day.
We were served by a lovely girl who was very helpful and attentive.
We ordered some drinks and our afternoon tea bench then followed.
It looked fabulous and our server told us what each item was.
The mini beef lasagna was very tasty, however the sweet chilli chicken taco was very over cooked and chewy.
When I say the finer details need addressing, the sauce sachets (which I don't like at the best of times) were from a cash and carry and not Heinz or Hellmans.
After having the chips and onion rings, we were really quite full so just shared a couple of the eight sweet items.
The tri-coloured sponge was very dry. Probably because we were sat outside on a warm day and it wasn't wrapped in a cake case.
We drank our raspberry mojito and asked for a cake box to take our cakes home. The waitress brought over some paper bags, again, from the same cash & carry. Cake boxes are not expensive, just add the cost into the afternoon tea price. Way too much food for one sitting. We left the carrot cakes as they would have got squashed in the paper bag.
Over the next 24 hours we shared the remaining cookies, brownies and cornflake cakes with family. The cookies were revolting, no sugar had been added. I've no ever had a non-sweet chocolate cookie before, and I won't be wanting to taste one again. The cornflake mini egg nests were a hit tho.
In the garden there are two domes which can be hired for group bookings. Not quite the same floral decor as the rest of the building and the furniture throughout is very higgledy piggledy and just doesn't seem in keeping. Only my point of view
Having bought several vouchers for friend's gifts over a couple of years, having been sold The Bush Inn on Instagram, I will no longer be doing that.
Just a few changes would make The Bush Inn a fantastic destination place to visit.
It's a shame I write a negative review but still highlighting the positives.

Best rock bar in Warwickshire with live free bands every Friday & Saturday night. Very friendly bar staff, brilliant door staff and accommodating boss Richard. Thank you guys for welcoming a Sikh rocker to your bar

What a stunning gem right in the centre of Warwick. Our first stay in the hotel, but definitely not last. Absolutely stunning decor outside and inside. Nicely decorated, spacious room with super comfy bed. Plenty of storage including wardrobe, chest of drawers and stunning little vanity table ♥ Room was ready early for us which was great because we needed to get ready for an event at the racecourse. Room has everything we needed. Coffee machine, both sparking and still water, toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Every little detail was sorted. Car park is short walk from the hotel, hotel providing the pass free of charge. You can also stay for about 2 hours outside the hotel, which giving you plenty of time to unpack etc. Location is also perfect for the racecourse and castle, walking distance to the city centre pubs and restaurants. Perfect spot for everything. There's beautiful pub downstairs with great selection of food and drinks, beautiful beer garden as well. Breakfast was lovely and very generous, choice of cooked and continental breakfast, yogurts, fruits juices. Great selection. Overall we had a great stay and we will be coming back every time we're in Warwick.
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had, easily the best coconut rice. Good quick service, nice decor, comfortable restaurant.
The drinks selection is okay but would be nice to see more authentic soft drinks like Thai iced tea, bubble tea, lychee and mango juice.
The food was amazing!! The Karaage chicken is my favourite dish. We had great service from Virds, which made it a lovely occasion. We have been a couple of times and want to try different things on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Called in with the family. Greeted by the friendly staff (found out was the landlord) Lovely evening, sat outside in a heated pod. Lovely garden with swings for the kids.
Menu was big enough for plenty of choice. Had pie,a proper pie! Fish and chips, steak and chicken nuggets for the boy.
Well worth a visit and will be back very soon!
I went to the Ivy Tearoom with my son last weekend. The decor and ambiance were fun. A modern twist on a Tearoom. The food was delightful and the recommended teas that accompanied were spot on and delicious. Will definitely return. Maybe for tipsy tea with my husband. What a fun idea! I definitely recommend this little gem!
