The Fountain Inn in Malvern Hills

Great pub went with family, booked ahead as there was 9 of us, staff were great and very polite and helpful. Pub had a nice chilled environment and plenty of car parking. Would 100% visit again if we were in the area.

Didnt stay here, came in with a friend and had lunch. We had one pie of the day and one fish and chips. Both were lovely and service was excellent. Would recommend 👌

Only ate here but the good was good traditional pub food and reasonably priced. Cosy feel to the pub.

Stayed for 3 nights in August 2024. Everything, the room, the food , especially the breakfast, and the old inn itself was really lovely and certainly good value for money. The staff were all very jolly and helpful. The accommodation consists of 3 sides of rooms set around it own quadrangle, with parking, behind the inn so there was no noise from the pub, or the road. The rooms and the bathrooms were immaculate.

Just had a lovely lunch here. Food and service excellent. Pub could do with refurbishment but very clean.

Lunchtime meal for my wife and I. We had the Indian chicken salad bowl and a chicken melt. Both were very tasty and delivered by a friendly, efficient server. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend.

We went as a family of 5, and the dog. Superb service and food. I always have my reservations when going to a new restaurant, but the Fountain Inn delivered with flying colours. Thoroughly recommend.

Great discovery! Shared a lunch with family. Smashing choice on menu and each tasty meal well prepared, served in good time and hot! Pleasant surroundings and would have given 5* except the loos were in need of good clean and freshening up.

Stopped over on way home from Cornwall lovely beer garden with children's play area

I had the home made Lasagne and can actually state it’s the poorest I’ve ever had. A small dish of a very dry attempt. I suspect it had been in the freezer for a long time. I shouldn’t have ate it really but didn’t want to kick a fuss up amongst the rest of our party. Definately won’t be returning.

We were staying locally and chose to eat here based on it's reviews. We had a warm welcome, quick service and the food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Came here two nights in a row this weekend as it was a great distance from where we were staying. The staff were friendly and the food was simple and classic yet done to an amazing standard. Highly recommend

We visited for my mother in laws 70th birthday, as we was staying close by. After searching what was around the local area etc, this looked the most relaxed and good value for money, which it was. There was 13 of us altogether, including a baby. I booked the table in advance and was asked to call back with everyone's menu choices, except for the birthday girl, as she was unaware and we wanted to keep it a surprise. There are plenty of parking spaces and although we arrived in the evening, it looked a lovely place to sit outside if you wanted to. We was seated in the conservatory extension and drinks orders were taken. We did have a mix up with two drinks coming for 1 person, as they had changed their mind whilst placing their order, but it wasn't the end of the world. Food we had ordered came out really quickly and even though they only took the birthday girls that night, hers came out with ours also. The only slight change I would make, is that we waited for a while for someone to come and take our desserts order, so I believe we went and found someone in the end. The food was delicious. Can recommend the baked brie for starters 👌. Everyone was happy with their meals and was a great choice. Children recieved free ice cream as part of their menu option, which was a nice touch.

I've stayed here a couple of times. The nice thing with the accommodation is that it's separate from the pub. The pub is a very old country pub but very popular . Food is good and well priced

We have stayed at the fountain Inn four years running. The rooms are comfortable and the food good breakfasts to die for. The staff are very friendly would recommend the fountain to anyone.

Very pleasant quick visit for a swift pint after a gentle country stroll. Pleasant, polite, efficient staff with a good choice of ales available. Used the beer garden, great for the dogs (on lead). Plenty of car parking space even though busy. Recommended.

Very clean room, tv, tea/coffee making facilities, lovely big shower. Had excellent evening meal, busy & good ambiance. Full English breakfast cooked really well, cereal, toast, juice, coffee good & cost only £10.

Excellent quality of food and service

We have just had a lovely meal here. The staff were friendly and the food was so good. I was particularly impressed by the vegan options. I hd the falafel burger which was homemade and so good. My boyfriend had the beef burger which he really enjoyed and it looked really good quality. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a cosy country pub with proper food and lots of choice. Thanks so much!

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced tasty food even though Sunday evening menu is different to the rest of the week. Our room was very clean, warm and quiet. Thanks to all the staff for our dog friendly relaxing stay.

Traditional pub with low ceilings and exposed timbers. Had a delicious meal with my colleague for a reasonable price. Friendly service, clean bathrooms, good parking, lovely location👍

Superb place, everyone and everything is great

We went for a meal for my birthday, and really enjoyed our meal, the service was very good the hosts were friendly and helpful. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay there

Being going here for the last 4/5 Years and have never had a poor meal.

3 nights. Nice stay. Good value. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast. Relaxed ambience in pub. Would stay again. Only reason for not giving 5 stars. Accomodation, although clean was a little tired. Am sure this will be addressed when funds available. Pub trade not easy!

Wednesday night is steak night. £12!! It was first class. Waiting on, bar staff great. Very friendly. Chef is marvelous. Beautiful food very well presented. Need to book in advance as it gets very busy!

I have only ever called in on my way back from West Wales to the West Midlands. The Fountain is an ideal stop off for me and a lovely one at that; there is a cosy and welcoming ambience to the Inn. The menu looks inviting to say the least and I intend to 'test' it at some point. Love the Halloween pumpkins on the bar incidentally; nice touch! 🎃🎃

Sunday lunch was amazing but had to go to bar after 20 mins waiting at the table to ask for drinks and a menu

I visit this pub every six months or so with my sister and brother in law, they know us there now, good value, and decent size meals...

Hired a room for a talk and Sunday lunch for 52 people. First class venue, with a great Sunday lunch

Had fish and chips unfortunately the fish tasted a bit out of date.

Lovely traditional pub/inn with traditional pub food of good quality/value.
