I spent a good couple hours here enjoying a quiz night with my family which was well organised, friendly and just difficult enough to be entertaining. Tickets were £1 per person, and sorted a local charity. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back, and maybe get some food next time. Most importantly for me, there were two ciders on tap and neither of them were Strongbow.

Nice pub, the fella said he'd just set it up and hadn't got a chef yet so no food. I imagine it'll be nice though as the decor and layout seems nice.

Lovely little pub been a couple times now food is great, portions are a good size and filling. Had the nacho and bacon mayo chips very enjoyable meal. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend :)

Passed this place a couple of times and saw their “Dirty Chip” logo so instantly thought “Street Food Vibe” which I love… Decided to try it when we were in the area. Quiet Saturday afternoon, nobody else in but us. Ordered Hunters Chicken Dirty Chips and Nacho Dirty Chips with a side of pulled pork. The Hunters chicken was ok to be fair. But the rest was diabolical. The tomato sauce on the Nacho chips was just that. Cheap cash and carry tomato sauce. And it was the same for the BBQ Sauce on the pulled pork (which was swimming in it). Both got overpower by the vinegar in the sauce. I would have complained but we didn’t see the server again after the food was served. Better quality ingredients are key. Try using fresh guacamole and fresh tomato salsa. Not from a bottle! Won’t be returning or recommending.

Great carvery on a Sunday. 3 Choices of meat and loads of sides. Perfect pub for a Sunday watching the football, carvery and few beers! Deffo will be back.

Great pub, great food. Only criticism is that the food took a while and wasnt overly warm when arrived. Also no kids menu or dessert menu. Worth a visit again, but wouldnt rush back.

Excellent value for money, really enjoyed my steak meal tonight, will definitely be going again. The chef goes all out with his presentation and he only charges £15.00!

Tuesday is steak night at The Royal Oak. We had two tender well cooked steaks with crusty rolls, tomatoes on the vine, home made onion rings, peas, chips, and fried onions for ONLY £15.00. Compliments to the chef!

We had a steak which was lovely quick service at a reasonable price will definitely visit again if visiting the area again

Passing through and thought we'd stop here for lunch. It's super quirky out back! Pub wasn't open so we decided to wait and play around on the pool table outside. A lady turned up who was honestly the most miserable person I've ever come across in my entire life. She literally had the enthusiasm of a sock! Couldn't be bothered to even talk to us and made us feel like an inconvenience as we just sat and waited for them to open. We tried to make conversation but she was clearly upset with someone/something and didn't want to know. We went elsewhere in the end as we just didn't feel welcome. Shame that one member of staff ruined such a pretty looking pub before we'd even stepped through the door.

We go weekly to take part in the pub quiz and have dinner. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful pub, has something for everybody - great play area for kids, food is excellent offering something a bit different from the normal pub grub, outdoor area is amazing in the sun, good beer and staff are friendly, diligent and hardworking from my experience. For me it ticks all the boxes of what a local pub could and should aspire to offer. Is now by far and away my favourite local to call in to👍🏻 Keep up the good work!

This is the worst Chef & Brewer I have been in. to date and I have been in quite a few. I think the landlord just needs replacing as he certainly was not honest with us and the food was below the standards I would expect form the chain.

Good selection of drinks and nice outdoor seating area. Inside is very dark and glasses were dirty (myself and another had 2 drinks each, all glasses had lip marks on and whilst we were there another customer came to bar to ask for a clean glass) spotted 4 bar flies which wasn't ideal.

Great garden food lovely but was not offered a replacement or refund when my daughter was not given what she had asked for and couldn't eat it ,real shame as spoiled the evening.

A little gem, been delivering the post here for 5 years but never really went in for a drink until last night. They've gone to town on the decor and outside area it's great with the outdoor undercover pool table and comfortable seating. Inside is lovely as well, really like the addition of retro arcade machines, will definitely be returning. Just lucky it's not open when i drop the mail off i might not get any work done 😂

Really liked this pub, it was all dressed up for Halloween, amazing. Staff dressed up, polite and friendly. Beer was excellent. Loved my visit here.

One of the best pubs I have seen in a while. The garden is just amazing with cosy seating and the food is great value and yummy. We had a GIANT tuna cob.

Huge beer garden with cool teepee's and games like fussball. Dogs allowed. Not very easy to get staff attention. Would've starred lower as one of our bottles of old mout cider was actually out of date (only discovered after it'd been drunk), but after complaining I received a refund for the whole round no questions asked. So I've given it 4 stars.

Pulled in here for some lunch - great little courtyard garden, nice people, dog friendly and delish food - the chips were great, as was the sand which and ploughman’s. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

This little pub in Leigh Sinton is a real gem. The staff are super friendly and the pub is a cosy, dog friendly haven. My wife and I each had the ploughman's with Hereford Hop cheese and great sliced ham and I hope to go back soon to try the Scotch Eggs and don't miss the ice cream. On Saturdays the boss takes the trouble to stoke up a wood fired Pizza oven and also cooks fresh bakery items for free bar snacks on a Friday. There is heart in this pub; it is clear in the service, food and welcome. Great stuff

Had a very nice pie with fine veg. Friends thought fish and chips were best ever. Ale was very will kept and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive and the pub itself is clean and comfortable. Will be returning as soon as possible.

First time visit here having just moved to the area. Real pub. Very friendly, cosy and good selection of beer and gin!! Staff great. Didn't have a meal but will do soon!

Lots of care taken with the food here. Chef made me a taylored veggie option which was lovely. Loved the pub decor, both cosy & modern.

Visiting area and stopped for an evening meal. 2 Adults and one child everything we ordered was spot on 5 out of 5. Beer was good as well, Marstons ale. Also was extremely clean and tidy toilets included.Not busy on the evening we were there definitely would return.Unusual for me to post a comment but believe it warrants 5 stars. Back home tomorrow see if I can get my local to this standard.

Food and service are always excellent.

Went as was driving nearby. Had a nice lunch, partner had fish and chips, I had ham egg and chips. Also saved space for a lovely honeycomb and chocolate cheese cake with a good choice of beers to wash it down.

Food for twelve - we all enjoyed our starters, mains and desserts and have no hesitation recommending to anyone, the food, friendly welcome and excellent value.

We called in for lunch today the food is all freshly home cooked and it is. Even down to home made fish fingers. Excellent service various gins and a good selection of wine. We will be back but next time we will have a taxie so we can enjoy G & T fever tree tonic. All reasonably priced.

Very newly refurbished to a nice standard and friendly landlord. Now doing food and good menu. Quite expensive though. Very clean and neat inside. Good selection of gins. Very enthusiastic landlord who has made a big difference.

Mark the Landlord and Chef has revitalised this lovely old establishment, serving excellent food and beers.

I was a very very lucky winner last year with the Royal Oaks advent calendar. And they very very kindly kept my prize for me until today. I have never been here before and it's a truly lovely local gem, very clean, friendly staff, amazing choice drink and food wise, and lovely decor inside. We had the most delicious meal (the steak... highly recommend it) and it was all perfectly cooked and presented!!!! highly recommend this amazing establishment and can't wait to come back again. THANK YOU XX

The pub is lovely. Staff were very accommodating. But the fish seemed not to be deep fried but oven/microwave cooked. Apart from this we couldn't our visit was very enjoyable.

Friendly, good choice of drinks, cosy Pub, smartly decorated including a wall with an interesting OS Map of the area, on site car park with best decorated Pub Gents I have seen for a while.

The Royal Oak is now under refurbishment and Mark has kept our local going whilst work is being done, this place is the friendliest and happiest establishment l have known, strangers are welcomed to join into the conversations it will be great when the work is completed as the food that Mark prepares is out of this world signed Carole and Barrie

Decent pub - would prefer more recognised brands.

Could be a great pub, but I too often a lack of people and atmosphere. Haven't tried the food, but frequent changes of landlords has meant not always available.
