The best restaurants in West Midlands

We only stopped off for drinks 🍸 on a Friday dinner as we did a canal walk down from Chirk and it was like walking into a pub of your dreams. All the drinks you like 👍 were there and you were spoilt for choice were too sit as there was seating out front and enormous seating outback not to count the inside of the pub, it's like the pub that keeps on giving 😉. Lovely food was being served whilst we was there as well ,would definitely love a local pub like this definitely recommend a visit.

The service was great and the food even better.

What a very very disappointing evening to celebrate our daughters birthday...our table was booked for 6.30...4 adults and one child...after one hour someone came to take our order ...another hour later our starters arrived....main course served at 9.00!!!...yes they did give us a discount but that did not make up for the disappointing evening that was supposed to a birthday celebrations.....!!!

Friendly, interesting history, good selection drinks and food. Go, it's truly worth the visit.

The restaurant was empty apart from one table but it still took nearly 10 mins to get seated. The food was definitely not to my taste or comparable to other Nepalese food I have eaten. The Momo starter was good and flavourful, but the curry was split and watery and didn't taste great so it wasn't eaten. The only good thing was they did not bill me for the curry

Sunday lunch was excellent, quality ingredients cooked beautifully. Staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. The price was excellent for the quality and service we received, highly recommend!

Amazing little place, great atmosphere and interior, lovely staff. Pizza was incredible, obviously wood fired and generous with high quality toppings. Food came out very quickly, very fairly priced!

If you are Italian and want to rediscover the feeling of home, this is the right restaurant. The owners speak Italian and the food is real Italian

It is a very nice spot in the countryside, overlooking the river Severn. We were there for a family birthday. The service was very friendly and timely, despite it being a very busy bank holiday. There was a good range of beers. I had the Three Tuns pale ale, which was good, although I much prefer their best bitter. We ordered the Sea Bass, which was very tasty. But the meal was too haute cuisine, and was not nearly filling enough. The fish was good, but it was supported only by a small salad and 4 tiny boiled potatoes. It needed some proper potatoes and vegetables to support it. I have to say that when I got back home, I was still hungry and needed to have some pork pie and pickles to fill me up.

Food is tasty but the portion sizes on takeaways can be an absolute joke, routinely half filled and this place is not cheap…

Superb breakfast in a lovely location. Attentive and efficient staff. Delicious food and will have to come back to try more items!

Another great Black Country Ales pub. Friendly service and good choice of ales.

Good food, but the pub is a bit rough round the edges

Vinimos aquí a las 2 en punto un sábado por la tarde y el lugar estaba muy ocupado. Personal amable y servicial a nuestro pedido y la comida sabía increíble. La carne de cerdo estaba cocinada a la perfección y el sabor era increíble. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida y el precio refleja la calidad de la comida. Definitivamente volveré.

Great food taste and presentation wise. Service was good and waiter Ismail Showed great character. Keep up the good work
