Yakinori Noodle & Sushi in Birmingham

The food was amazing!! The Karaage chicken is my favourite dish. We had great service from Virds, which made it a lovely occasion. We have been a couple of times and want to try different things on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Riya and the team were really great in helping with my gluten allergy, really friendly and accommodating. Lots of options for GF and very lovely staff.

The prices are very high quality poor fish was not fresh … was good b4 i guess they changed management… better places around for sure …

Amazing food, can't believe I've not been here before. New to Japanese food and this place made it so easy. Can't wait to go back again! Camilla and Irene offered superb table service and the Manager is lovely!

We walked in and were immediately greeted by smiles. We were soon seated despite it being busy. Irene enthused us with the menu and dealt with questions about dietary requirements expertly (veggie and gluten free). The food was delicious and the service was exemplary. We’ll definitely visit again!

We were served by Sujit and Irene, and both are lovely. I would love to rate 10/10 for customer service. Sujit answers all of our questions about the menu and Irene served us politely. I love being here! Would love to come over and over again and be treated by these two people again. 🩷🩷

I absolutely love Sushi, and so was very pleased to come here. We had a very wide mixture and stuffed ourselves, it was very good. I wish we had a sushi restaurant nearer to home. It has an upbeat atmosphere inside and the service us very warm and friendly. It is a bit expensive but then sushi always is. Definitely recommend it

Went here with friends and family today. Have not been in a few months, was really looking forward to the food... and boy... I was not dissapointed one bit. The food was delicious and portions were generous. Most importantly, the staff, Khrissna, Adrita and Sujit were soo welcoming and the service was amazing. Absolutely disgusting. I just got a takeaway from selly oak yakinori. I got to the end of my meal and found it floating in the bottom. No wonder it’s got such a poor hygiene rating. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Go quite often to Yakinori and have had good service with helpful suggestions on what to order and always leave full and happy!

This was the second Yakinori chain we've visit and so I was really excited, however left feeling let down. I ordered my go to dish of chicken, first impressions, it looked great and the soup tasted delicious, it wasn't until I tried a piece of the chicken meat that instantly had me feeling let down. The texture and size of chicken was exactly the same kind of you get from the frozen section in Aldi, which is interesting as there is an Aldi about 1 minute away. I couldn't bring myself to eating it so ended up picking out all of the meat. Staff morale - I understand that these hangouts can become really busy, especially at weekends. However, there was an awful lot of shouting, arguing, even pushing of staff going on. . . Not the most pleasant thing to watch.

Awful...guessing most people who have rated this highly have never tried authentic japanese food!!! It's all poor. Joy of going to Japan and eating out is most food establishments concentrate on one thing and do it well!! One look at the menu got me worried....its massive, no way is the food going to be focused on anything but fast, cheap crap!! I brought my Japanese friends here and felt embarrassed. Food didn't appear to be fresh and tasted awful!! This might be fine for students but once again someone has tried to exploit a great cuisine for profit and created a mess.

The food was relatively nice when I went to this restaurant. I had the 'Kabocha Pumpkin Katsu' curry which was tasty as a takeaway dish. Whilst I was waiting for my food though I noticed the chef touch the pumpkin pieces with his bare hands, which is fine. But then when I went to pay for my food, I noticed that he had put gloves on and then started putting rubbish into the bin and then started to prepare food with the same gloves on. Personally I found that to be a bit gross and it put me off eating my meal.The restaurant itself has a nice decor and everyone in there seemed to be enjoying their meals!
