I’ve never written a negative review, or at least not that I can recall, but I felt compelled to do so for this place. To say that MyLahore is overrated is an understatement, and I found the food rather disappointing. I read all the positive reviews, which led me to order the dishes highly recommended by customers, such as the Parmesan chicken, the lamb chops, and the chicken karahi. All I can say is that the only dish that was good was the lamb chops. The chicken karahi tasted like a regular curry and didn’t resemble a typical karahi in any way. The Parmesan chicken was essentially just melted cheese on top of grilled chicken—nothing spectacular at all. I found myself eating the chips to fill up, as the portion sizes were small. On the positive side, I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and the child-friendly atmosphere, which included activities that kept the kids occupied. However, I must say I was quite appalled by the quality of the food, which was the main reason I chose this restaurant. I brought my family members with me, and they were also disappointed, which is a real shame. It’s either me, or the standards and tastes of the people dining here who claim the food is excellent. If food quality is your priority and not the ambiance, then I recommend avoiding this restaurant. Oh, and for the price, I felt it was overpriced as well. I’m sorry to write this review, but given the number of people writing positive reviews, I felt it was important to express my thoughts on the poor quality of food, despite the great service and ambiance.

The quantity of food is very small as compared to prices. We ordered dum biryani, lahori chicken karahi and chicken parmesan. These items cost me £52 and these hardly fulfill our hunger (2 adults+ 1 child). The taste was just ok, not too good. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff was friendly with the kid. Final verdict: not value for money.

The food at mylahore is beautiful. Very tasty good size portions. We had the mixed grill and the meats were all very tender. Staff were great there was 8 of us for a birthday celebration. They also brought out our cake and the staff surrounded to join in singing happy birthday. Prices are fair. The restaurant is clean. We visited at 4pm on a Saturday tge restaurant was busy we didn't pre book but they accommodated us straight away and there is on site parking. Only down fall it's on the edge of Birmingham clean air zone so we had a charge to pay worth checking before to plan your route

Mudassir served us today he was very kind and polite. The waffles on the other hand was absolutely delightful with the strawberry and bananas what topped it up was the chocolate sauce just gave it that extra boost.

Have been numerous times and have had a good experience with the food and service. Today however, it wasn’t so good. The service was very slow and it felt like forever before the food arrived. The malai tikka starter was undercooked and even slightly raw. The manager kindly took the undercooked chicken back.

Toqueer the waiter was absolutely amazing!! Attentive and constantly checked if we needed anything! Best waiter I’ve come across in any restaurant in a long time
