Delicious korean cuisine with reasonal price. Stew / Jigae broth were our favourite this time! Best lunch to have with friends or family.

I ordered stir-fried squid and it was delicious. I was really satisfied, perhaps because it was my first seafood dish in a while. The person serving us is really friendly.

This is my favourite food place!! No matter what you order it is delicious 😋 Price is really good for the quality and is my go to for a little reward to myself

The food was extremely greasy, and the chicken served on the rice was boiled, tasteless, and clearly microwaved—it even still had foam on it. When I went to ask the staff for some tissue, I saw the chef smelling the chicken wings, which was quite off-putting. I didn’t even bother taking the rest of the food home. Definitely won’t be returning.

Really good food and service was fast. Pretty good value if you get the lunch offer but we arrived too late so missed it unfortunately.

A very authentic Korean restaurant in Birmingham. Never know I can find such good Korean food here. Kimchi Soup is really good. Price is alright too. I will visit the next time I am in town

I recently visited Kimchi Restaurant in Selly Oak and was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the pork ramen, and it was outstanding – the broth was rich and full of deep, authentic flavors, and the pork was incredibly tender. The entire dish was a perfect blend of traditional Korean flavors. On top of that, the service was fantastic – friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. This place is an absolute lunchtime gem, and I can't recommend it enough! I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Awful pseudo korean food, overpriced worthless scran unfortunately :( It's too different compared to when i visited South Korea. Food was too different, not authentic and too expensive you should not be pretending to sell korean food like this to be honest very disappointing.

Been coming to kimchi for nearly 2 years. Great place with decent pricing and food is amazing as well as service and interior. Chef special was my go to but I just wish it had more meat options instead of just pork

Absolutely amazing, made a reservation for my 19th birthday and had the spicy squid sizzler. The lady who sat us is very sweet, and it wasnt too busy as it was a week day, i 1000000% recommend to anyone who loves korean food or any food with a kick! Absolutely amazing will be going back!!

Had the set lunch and it was really good value. Also ordered a few other items to share - seafood pancake & fried chicken. It was delicious, cooked to order so everything was hot and crispy. A really nice cozy restaurant, good service and decent food

Kushi who served us is the best person I’ve ever met in the ‘generation z’ who has work ethic and excellent customer service. Food was delicious too!

Day menu ordered: 1 - Katsu chicken curry > strips - it was overcooked, although the curry sauce was lovely. 2 - Topokki - definitely needs to add more fish cake! not many would also like cheese, please have the options for no cheese and noodles at all. Overall, I may hope to order again in the future, if further improvements have been considered. 감사합니다! ❤️

It tasted so bad that I ordered beef soup with rice. MSG soup, not much meat, rice is too sticky...

Amazing food would 100 percent recommend

When eating at a restaurant, rib soup is served in an earthen pot. I had no idea that in the UK, you would be able to eat rib soup and gobong rice boiled in an earthen pot like this. The amount of meat was generous and the galbitang was really great.

It’s real korean food. Especially Kimchi soup and Soft tofu soup. You should try and say if you expect the real korean taste !!!

This was my first time coming here, and I was surprised that it tasted better than I expected! For the price, the ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere is clean. Above all, I liked that the staff were friendly!

I ordered the set B lunch set with the chef’s choice. I got fall off the bone beef ribs, korean fried chicken and other side dishes. It was very good!

This is one of the best Korean restaurants in Birmingham. I've been coming here since 2016 when I discovered it and it's amazing! The dolsot bibimbap is spot on!!

The price is cheap and affordable, and you can get a discount if you use cash. But I was not satisfied with the bibimbap because it was full of vegetables and no meat. But the portion of fried chicken is huge. Overall very good for the price

This is the best restaurant in Selly Oak. The service is so insanely fast, it shocks me every time when they put food in front of me basically moments after I’ve ordered it. The range of food is amazing and everything is so so good. It is our go to restaurant both for ourselves and when people come to visit us in Selly. The prices are also so reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. Servers are always so lovely and atmosphere is always great whether busy or quiet. This is our favourite restaurant ever. We’ve been here multiple times and tried most of the menu. This time we had the kimchi jeon pancake and some chicken teriyaki skewers for starter and for main we had the pork sizzler and the spicy seafood ramen. All were super super tasty and will definitely be getting again.

we ordered the boneless chicken, pa jeon, spicy pulled beef hotpot and jjajangmyeon and all were very flavourful and delicious! customer service is also great, the lady serving us was very sweet and helpful :) i’ve come here many times and always enjoy the food and experience!

Delicious food! Dumplings to start were excellent, then we had the bibimbap, spicy beef hot pot and kimchi for mains, which we completely finished! Would definitely come again!

I come here regularly, top notch as always. The courses are served at just the right pace, good portion sizes and lots of extras with your order like salad and miso soup.

Kimchi offers an amazing dining experience! The warm atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. The food was exceptional, with very tasty fried boneless chicken and spicy ramen.
