Zengh in Birmingham

Food was delicious, filling best Indian food I’ve had in a while. Staff were absolutely lovely friendly. Restaurant was clean tidy and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend. House specials were amazing.

What a place! Me and partner Dan love it so much it’s now our regular every week. The best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten. I have eaten in Mitchum star restaurants and Zengh beats them every time. Highly recommend!!!!

Sauces in both curries tasted watered down.

We use this restaurant often and have never had a bad experience. The food and service is excellent.

First time ordering from this place , and wasn't disappointed food was top quality , would definitely recommend presentation was spot on too little touches like the wet wipes !

Really disappointed with service. Was only ordering extras to go with yesterday’s leftovers and left note for restaurant to this effect requesting particular delivery time so could reheat other food. Received notification food was on its way so put stuff in oven, nearly 10 minutes later received call saying they were just about to leave, food then didn’t turn up for another 10 minutes despite restaurant being literally a 2-3 minute drive away.

We had the king prawn biryani which tasted amazing (wasn’t stingy with the king prawns which I have seen in many restaurants!) plenty of dishes to choose from out of their wide variety menu. Will love to try to naga chicken curry soon. Their signature egg fried rice is always a winner! Amazing and friendly staff who really go out of their way too look after you. Will not be disappointed.

Returned to this restaurant after a 5 year gap. It was excellent I had the chicken alphonso and it was lovely . The staff are always so lovely in there . It’s very good value and being able to bring your own wine or beer is a plus . I hope to return again soon .

Always accommodate us when we don't pre book table. Only small but very comfortable. Good choice if food is not licensed which is great. The only thing they don't do is sweet menu

Have been a few times now and Food on point. Really good atmosphere for fine dining. Got pathia puri starter Bengal Nega Keema naan Can't remember what the wife got but was also really nice.

Really nice Indian Restaurant. Went for a family birthday. We all enjoyed our food. Well presented and tasty. They serve soft drinks , but you can take your own alcohol with you. Nice decor , subdued lighting. Excellent service as well.

I would see Zengh driving past all the time and I was quite curious to experience how the restaurant was. Having seen the 5 star reviews I decided to take my partner for his birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant is certainly Zengh. The service was one of the best I’ve ever received. Having waited slightly over the normal wait time, it was certainly worth it! The food was delicious; this is coming from a person who’s very picky! I couldn’t fault anything. I have quite a sweet tooth after a meal. Sadly they don’t have a dessert menu, however they continued to kindly accommodate by giving me and my partner a complimentary ice cream which just topped off the night. Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you

I chose this place because of the good reviews and Just Eat said delivery would be 35-50 minutes, but it actually took 1 hour 30 minutes to srrive. The curry was very bland and the naan didn't seem cookes properly. Very disappointing indeed. I'm wondering how many of those 'glowing' reviews are actually real.

First visit. The food was excellent and service excellent. We all really enjoyed our meal.

The food was good and the service was good. When we went there we were part of a group of 7 and we were put by the entrance door and we watched a number of people struggling to get in as there's a small doorway with a step to get in so keep this in mind if you're in a wheelchair or have a Walker as you may not get in.

I was very disappointed. Curry was watery- usually spot on here but an average at best curry. Priced higher than others, expectation was unfortunately let down by quality

Lovely food and friendly delivery driver

It is my first order which I made for collection. I kept receiving updates on emails until order became ready. The food is best Indian I tasted in Birmingham. Quality and quantity are amazing . Very reasonable prices . The place is clean and warm atmosphere. I will definitely go back in the future .

Unreal food. Had a starter and a main and both were delicious. Partner had starter and main and she said both were lovely.

By far the best resturant in Sutton Coldfield, if you want a curry or a starter thats not on the menu they will try there best to accomadate you. Staff are all extremley friendly. High reccomend, and its bring your own booze aswell. Amazing food, the shami kebab stater is unreal

Lovely food in restaurant and same high quality take away

Food was great but was over an hour later than told it would be I know the restaurant was packed because my son went to sit in & did not get a table maybe taking to much on & disappointing the takeaway customers rather than the sit ins won’t order takeaway again to pay £40 & have to wait an hour not good

As usual a fantastic curry, they never miss no matter how many times i order, best place in Birmingham!

Jalfrezi and pilau rice, very nice, with free popadom and mint sauce and inion salad. Havent tried the madrass yet, but its probably very nice as well.

Not up to usual high standard, curries we're both watery and lacking in the usual flavour. Everything else lovely, curries used to have lovely thick sauces now they just seem more like soup.

Already love this place, but their lamb cutlet starter is a different level!

First time ordering and the food was superb! Husband had the Zengh platter and said it was the best mixed grill he had ever tasted. I had the Dupiaza paneer tikka, which was very tasty. Thank you for the complimentary popadoms and salad. Delivery driver was also lovey! Will be ordering again.

The food is good but this is the 3rd time in a row it’s been late I had to call a few times to see if it was being delivered - I don’t think I’ll be using them via just eat again

King prawn madras curry curry like water no king prawn in it very poor

POSSIBLY THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD. IT WAS OVER 20 MINUTES LATE AND STONE COLD. MOST OF IT WENT IN THE BIN. ;LASTLY WHAT IS THE POIT IN LEAVING NOTES FOR THE RESTAURANT IF THEY THEN COMPLETELY IGNOR THEM?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have never visited this restaurant before, what a mistake! They found us a fabulous table and gave us great service. Advice was given on the menu and my fella always likes to try a recommendation! He was not disappointed. The cauliflower rice was a great surprise! All food was really fresh and of good quality. You bring your own drinks and even so the business can provide you with a wine bucket. Lovely professional team just making sure you have a great time. You might become our favourite restaurant in Sutton. Thank you!

Food was late. Food was poor, just about the worst chicken byriani I've ever had. The Keema nan was missing so Just Eat refunded it.

Always a great meal from Zengh! Personally, I don’t think you can beat their Korma and their Alphonso is pretty grand too - definitely recommend ordering from here.

Regular customer here but last two deliveries now the pathia’s haven’t been the best - no spice and watery. Balti’s as good as always.

Got 2 peshwari naan instead of plain....I mean who eats those things man? Properly rank. Also got something that wasn't a chicken tikka masala in its place. Good quality but something went badly wrong with the order this time

I would just like to say i was recommended to use zengh and this was the best Indian meal I have had in a very long time, well done to the chef, I will have to visit one sat night with the family 🙏

I gave this place the benefit of the doubt tried another night but the food was chewy and not great felt like I was eating weekend leftovers and paying fresh to do day prices - won’t be coming back
