Dined in to the tastiest food. Waitresses were polite and very helpful. I'm a very picky eater but the food was perfectly cooked. I would go back again without hesitation. The atmosphere was great everything was really clean. Food was served promptly. There was a good selection on the menu.

Fabulous food. Really tasty. Kimchi was lovely. Very filling! I think we underestimated just how filling the food would be, but will definitely be back. Would recommend if you're in the area.

We did not get upstairs seat BUT the staff was really sweet and offered us free soft drinks which was very sweet and kind of them. Also the food was brilliant specially spicy buffalo wings. I will defo coming back again.

We dined at the restaurant on a Sunday evening, the place was not that busy. Upon arrival, a lady greeted us but she gave ‘like she doesn’t want to be there vibe’ which we understand because it might have been a long day. The food was lovely, we ordered the Seafood Soup that comes with steamed rice. It was flavourful and hot. We also ordered the Pajeon (Korean Style Pancake) which is great when being dip in the soy dipping sauce but just a tad oily. Takoyaki was delicious! The Peach Makgeolli was refreshing after the meal. Overall, food was amazing and reasonably priced for the serving. Ambiance was a bit too warm in the ground floor. Other staff was helpful other than the lady staff. Restaurant is a good restaurant to try if anyone fancy Korean Food!

Updated menu. Lovely dinner as always. Friendly service. *** Had the buffet dinner there with my partner. Food was lovely overall, and service was fantastic. Staff was very accommodating, and everything came out very quickly. Specifically enjoyed the variety of fried chicken, the grilled beef short ribs and the local brew on tap. We also love their "no-waste policy" - sends a positive signal against food waste. Would 100% visit again.

Would recommend. We went there for a quick lunch on Sunday. 1️⃣Beef bi bim bap was v nice and filling, better than most restaurants I’ve tried in Brum/Notts. 2️⃣Crispy fried chicken x secret sauce is a great combo. 🍃environment is great and you don’t need to worry abt the smell at all🤤

Best Korean food in Birmingham.

I went there today for my friends birthday and I was served by eddy and xian they were amazingggg. The food was soo good as well I recommend getting the hotpot and bibimbap they were delicious. Xian and eddy took our pictures too they were so cute. Overall amazing experience definitely recommend!!

We came for a birthday dinner and had the best time! Xian and Eddie were super sweet and made the whole experience so special. They even gave the birthday girl free ice cream and played a birthday song for her. The food was so good. Honestly such a fun night, thanks Itaewon!

We came without a reservation, but the service was still so friendly and the food came out really fast! We had the budae jjigae and I couldn’t recommend it enough it was full of flavour. The secret sauce on the chicken was delicious too! Would happily come again :)

The experience was amazing, it was our first time going to this sort of restaurant. The staff were so kind and patient in explaining what to do. Service here was great. Xin was wonderful and attentive to every need.

This is the first hot pot I’ve tried and it was brilliant. The service was amazing all the staff were so lovely and the food was once again AMAZING. I highly recommend coming here if you like Korean food and even if you haven’t tried it still come as the food is fantastic.

Amazing food and service with a smile

This review is coming a little late, but it felt necessary to leave it nonetheless. A few weeks back I had the pleasure of trying a dish from their Lunar New Year menu, and the thought of it has not really left my mind until now! The flavour was authentic and the portions were plentiful. Consistency and flavour were both delicate and comforting, worthy of colder days. My time at the restaurant was short lived, but the staff were attentive and friendly, sometimes sparking up conversation with customers which for some it may seem awkward but I greatly appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what else they come up with for future festivities.

Never expect there’s such an authentic Korean food restaurant in Birmingham! Perfect foods and welcoming service. I went with my Korean friend and she really enjoyed herself here. She said she even found herself at home with these decorations.

I ordered to take away, and I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted. The young man assisted me and I was very happy! Food is tasty, and you get a good amount for the price. I've recommended them to several friends and family.

Food was decent, but service was poor. It was hard to get the waiters attention and by the time we received our food, it was already cold. We saw our plate being left on another customers table then brought straight to us after about 15 minutes. No replacament was offered. Will not be going back.

I recently visited Itaewon and had an incredible experience with Korean food that I just have to share! We ordered kimchi pork jjigae, bibimbap, and salt and pepper chicken wings and garlic butter and honey chicken wings, and everything was brilliant. The kimchi pork jjigae was rich and tangy, with a perfect balance of spices that warmed me right up. The pork was tender and absorbed all the flavors beautifully. The bibimbap was not only visually appealing but also packed with flavor. Each ingredient, from the fresh vegetables to the savory sauce, came together harmoniously. The garlic butter and honey chicken wings were a standout, the batter was crispy and light, bursting with flavor, that left me wanting more. Plus, the portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I can’t wait to go back for another round!

Atmosphere was amazing!! 5 of us upstairs and the service was so good. The food came out extremely quick and all steaming hot. Teokbokkii was delicious but my favourite was the beef bulgogi. Definitely coming back.

We celebrated my friends birthday here. Staff were so sweet! We received complementary ice cream to celebrate and a sweet bday message card. We food was amazing, and portions were reasonable according to the price. The atmosphere, music and environment was very calming and was a great end to our day. We will definitely come back again!

I’ve eaten here a handful of times and it is mediocre at best. I cannot justify the prices and how the food tastes. There are many great Korean restaurants in birmingham that have much better food however the fried chicken from here is definitely delicious. The other food items like the kimchi pancake is quite oily if I’m being honest and the dish that the hot pot is served in is too small, you cannot make sure the food is properly cooked because when you stir it a bit - food will fall out.

I celebrated my 21st birthday here and a staff member gave me free Matcha ice cream with a candle, a hand written card and a plaquard calling me a queen! I cried. The food is amazing, they play all the new and popular kpop songs, what a day to remember. Overwhelmed by kindness, I could cry again. Love you, Itaewon staff!

I have been here thrice before and honestly the food was so good I had to bring my friend who wasn’t from Birmingham here. I went on the Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy and when I entered, it took a while to even make eye contact with the server. I was then asked to go upstairs not even given the choice which I found strange but agreed to go up. I then saw my friend was already waiting there and told me she’s been waiting for ten minutes already and I also joined her for another five before we were even acknowledged. The guy did apologise though and seated us but hurriedly left before even asking if we wanted anything to drink. Another twenty minutes of us trying to make eye contact with someone, with all servers having their heads down (there was only two upstairs and one downstairs) as if they knew We were waiting to be served but just didn’t acknowledge us. Even a quick ‘hi sorry we won’t be a moment we are currently busy’ would’ve sufficed but they literally avoided us like the plague. After around 40 minutes of us entering the restaurant, we thought to leave, we went downstairs and saw two groups of people who weren’t there when I entered who had already been acknowledged, their food noted down and being served which made us even more annoyed because we were forced to go upstairs to not even be served whilst these people got the choice to stay downstairs and was served by the lady in charge of that section. We ended up going elsewhere, I’m just genuinely annoyed that I wanted to take a friend to somewhere I’ve previously enjoyed and wasted her time coming here.
