Very good fried chicken here and there is Chinese of flavours to suit your taste I prefer Honey chicken buttered very filling and flavoured as was the fries and side pot got a 10pce boneless was amazing and delicious

Este lugar es realmente promedio si estoy siendo honesto. Me decepcionó mucho ya que vi que este lugar era muy bien revisado en general. Decidí pedir palomitas de pollo japchae y mi novio consiguió la carne de bulgogi set de comida. Creo que los mejores elementos del menú de este lugar son probablemente el bulgogi de ternera y por lo que he visto de otras críticas, el kimbap, así que solo obtener comida de aquí si quieres kimbap. El japchae fue más que decepcionante. Realmente no sabía absolutamente nada, lo cual es una pena porque la descripción afirmaba que supuestamente había chile en ella. No por lo que pude probar. No sé si se supone que el japchae es realmente soso porque nunca lo había probado antes, pero la abrumadora falta de sabor fue realmente miserable. Terminé comiendo solo un poco y dejando el resto como realmente es como comer fideos sin sabor aceitosos. El pollo de las palomitas de maíz había rociado mayo por todas partes, así que ni siquiera pude comer esa parte de mi comida porque mayo me hace lloriquear, así que eso fue para mi novio. It tasted like the budaejjigae you eat in Korea. It's a place that mainly serves take-away, but you can also sit down and eat inside the restaurant. The owner is very kind and friendly.

Had their coco chicken, bulgogi chicken and cheese teokbokki...first time having tteokbokki...so delicious

Discovered this shop while travelling, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Both the fried chicken and Japchae are absolutely delicious! It’s rare to find such high-quality Korean food here. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing food! First time trying Korean food and I am absolutely converted. The lady serving us was so friendly and warm which made such a great first impression. Food arrived very quickly (takeaway). We sat outside in our car to eat and were delighted with the absolutely delicious food. The rice was beautifully soft, lettuce was divine but the absolute star of the show was the sweet soy chicken wings! Undoubtedly the best chicken I’ve ever had! Ordered delivery. The fried chicken was insanely good. Japchae was tasty. The king prawns box and accompaniment were good (especially loved the pickled raddish cubes). The egg roll and fish cake were also v yummy. All in all, very impressed. 10/10 would order from here again when I get a hankering for korean deep-fried goodness.

Food was lovely, one item was missing but the restaurant was able to sort out the issue.

Delivery was great. Very quick. Food wasn’t the tastiest. Chicken was tougher than rubber and the curry was similar to a chip shop curry. The beef was nice though. Wouldn’t order from there again, fair portion size if you prefer quantity over quality

The bulk of the order was fine but the chips and prawns were stone cold (my son tells me that cold and/or undercooked chips are a regular thing). Food was also over an hour late compared to the estimated time on ordering.

The food is fantastic, absolutely amazing. I’ve ordered from here twice & both times have been great. Probably the best Korean food I’ve ever had. HOWEVER, there was an issue with my order & I called to let cocobab know. Initially they said there was nothing they could do. Then I spoke to the chef who said they would bring the items missing from my meal which was very kind of him. I called a few minutes later to let them know they should leave it and it would be a waste to bring the item over. But I was informed the chef had already left. When the chef arrived he practically threw the food at me before rolling his eyes & stomping off. The food is fantastic but the chef’s behaviour was unacceptable for that they get 4stars. But once again the food is great.

Driver did not communicate and order delivered too late. I would like a refund

I've been ordering from here for a couple years, best korean food in the UK, quality is always excellent. Mala and buldak chicken is the way to go

One of my favourite fried chicken places in Brum. Would highly recommend coco wings if you don’t know what to order, the flavour is amazing. When I lived in selly oak always had the delivery.

Incredible value and delicious Korean food - cheaper and tastier than the restaurants in the city centre! The Korean Bulgogi Set Menu is great value for menu and is a great way to try lots of different things and flavours - also comes with a big portion of rice on the side! The beef was a little tough but very flavourful. Kimchi was great, prawn tempura could be a bit more flavourful but was nice and crispy. The seaweed salad was bright and refreshing. The chicken wings were sweet and caramelised and slightly spicy. Egg roll was great too! Love the little touch with free box of seaweed! Also got a cheese corn dog which had cooled a bit by the time it arrived but I reheated it in the microwave and it melted again - so tasty and oozy!

Ordered from here a few times and I'm always content. The flavours are great and the portion size doesn't disappoint. A little disappointed with the corn dogs but that may be because I had delivery and it wasn't hot off the fryer, guess I'll have to order again to test!

Absolutely the best kimbap I have ever tried and it blows my mind that I can order it to my house so easily. The staff are really friendly and if there’s ever any issues they have sorted it in one phone call. Pleasure to visit and order in person or receive through Uber eats or Deliveroo . My favourite.

Unbelievably poor service ruined the whole experience, front of house staff could barely speak English and was struggling to understand us. Manager came out only to have even worse English then to get frustrated and let anger out on customers. Ruined what could be a nice place and experience

First time ordering from here and the food was amazing, lots of flavours and choice, will definitely be ordering again.

My wife had seen this place and thought it would be good to try. It did not disappoint at all, the chicken was very tender and full of flavour and the accompanying sides that we bought really complemented the meal. I will definitely be returning soon. The portion sizes are great too, we both struggled to finish ours.

This is a Korean restaurant specializing in takeout and delivery. First of all, the app ordering and menu were really systematic, so it was easy to order. Also, the menus are exactly what you miss in Korea, and I liked it because they gathered only the best menu items that you felt like you had to try them all. I tried it because my professor recommended it... I think I will use this often until I return to Korea. Hahaha, but it's kind of Korean food, so I'm comparing it to Korean prices... I think the food is exactly twice the price of Korean restaurants.

Ordered chicken bibimbap, deep fried vegetable dumplings, and japchae, and it was absolutely heavenly. So delicious, and the portion sizes are so massive we have meals for tomorrow too! One of the best meals I’ve had in such a long time.

Really nice food and a good portion size. The food is also not that spicy but a good amount to actually enjoy it.

Cocobab is so good that even now they’ve pulled out of cheeky Tuesdays I’m still willing to drive over to collect instead. Best takeout in town without a doubt.

Went in for the first time and tried the 5pc buldak korean fried chicken, rice and salad, with a side of homemade kimchi. All for under £12. Incredible quality, juicy chicken, and really amazing portions. Please support this independent business, and get a takeaway by calling and collecting. The big food delivery companies take a massive cut of the profits otherwise.

I'm so disappointed. I order a lot from this place. The fries were dry and definitely not fresh. They had missed my chicken and chips meal. I called them up and they couldn't send me another one. I had to reorder the chicken to get it. I'm so upset with the quality of food and service.

Incredible local Korean place! We travelled from Tamworth to try their food. Ordered some fried chicken, kimchi stew and bibimbap. Only wish I lived closer! Staff were really helpful and friendly, food is incredible and the price is excellent!

I love Cocobab, all of their dishes are so delicious and packed with flavour. The only reason I give a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I miss the old boneless fried chicken. Now they use chicken breast instead of dark meat and it’s not as juicy (some pieces are occasionally a little dry) or not really crispy. Other than those points, packed with flavour and delicious.

Amazing portion size for price, some of the largest portions of chicken I think I've had ever for the price point. I ordered the Coco boneless chicken and they were phenomenal! You can basically have both lunch and dinner for the price of £11.50. 1000% recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Sir, please read my review. I think I've ordered here 30 times.. Please update the menu. I don't have anything to order anymore. ㅠㅅㅠ Especially stews.. I would be happy if more stir-fried foods were added.

Driver didn't seem to understand how rosd names and numbers worked. I had to spend ten minutes on the phone to direct him to drive down my road. One of the parts of my food had plastic packaging wrapped inside it.

The boneless chicken is always exceptional from here but the fried dumplings are the hidden gem. 10/10 every time

To be fair it was better than average. Maybe 3 1/2 stars But it was not stand out in anyway. It was like most Chinese takeaways but with Korean ingredients which was a good change but the cooking it’s self was not as good as it could be.

Forst time I had food from here last night and it was great, I had chicken and chips and steamed rice and 2 drinks for £17.00. Not bad for a perfect meal in the evening great place to recommend for a take away.

Tried cocobab for the first time last week, I went for the salt and pepper chicken with rice and curry sauce. The curry sauce was very nice but the chicken had very thick batter on, made them quite stodgy. Can’t say portions sizes were stingy. Would defo try a different dish next time, probably a curry.

Update: still a 5 star but almost lost 1. The new fries aren't as good as the old ones they use to have. --- THE BEST IN STIRCHLEY AND SELLEY OAK. This is currently my favorite place in Birmingham. I have ordered food at this restaurant on several occasion, i must say that It was a good experience overall, until now... This time I am afraid it wasn't. As I ordered the usual dish of fried chicken(x2), i could not find ANY good piece of chicken in both batches. The colour was off, suggesting it wasn't freshly made. The 'bits' of chicken where too small: leaving mostly just fried batter which tasted and looked already old. Very chewy, no tender parts. The fries weren't good either. I thought i finally found a good address, but today I give 1-star, I am very disappointed.

Finally found the best Korean food restaurant around raddlebarn road very tasty, excellent service and which I could give more stars than five, will be buying from now on.

I had some Korean fried chicken(sweet and spicy around 15 pc of chicken or more) which came with a great portion of fries and a big bottle of Pepsi(which I didn't expect but was definatly welcomed). I also ordered some cheese tteokpokki with egg, and it was lovely, very filling and still piping hot at arrival. Overall, my order only came to £33 (without delivery) which I think is incredible considering the portion sizes.Thank you COCOBAB for the delivery, I was happy.

I got the 10pc Korean Wings and the jajangmyeon. The wings pretty good but the noodles was not for me, personal preference. But would definitely order from here again

This tiny hole in the wall business with only enough seating for a couple of people is turning out fantastic traditional Korean Cuisine in lightning speed... with family feel customer service and brilliant quality of food deliveries flying out the door tells me this is a local favorite I stumbled upon it the other day and returned wanting to try why I had the beef Kimbab with Korean beef and kimchi a soy based dipping sauce brought a delightful saltiness to the dish wash down with a very interesting cinnamon punch tasted like fireball without the fire as I stood reading the menu I realise there is a lot more here to try than just the rice seaweed roll..
