I came to Birmingham for my nephews 19th birthday with the family, my dad and my sister with her young children have never tried Thai food and they wanted to try before going to Thailand next year for the first time and thought this would be a nice experience . I read the google reviews and decided to book here. We wasn’t disappointed… wow!! All the food came out so quick was were amazed and it was soooo good. Everyone loved the food. We were most impressed with the service, our waitress Laura was superb, nothing was too much trouble and she was so pleasant and even brought out the birthday cake and sang happy birthday with us. Well done Laura you done a great job and thankyou Saimais would highly recommend

The whole experience was amazing. Nothing I could fault. The staff were Friendly especially Kelis - thank you smiles and banter made rhe afternoon more enjoyable. Would recommend to everyone if you haven't tried

Everything was flavored magically, so full of taste.

I went here for my birthday diner with my partner and had a good time! It had a lovely and bubbly atmosphere, the food was tasty!! 🤤 The only part I and my partner weren’t happy about was we waited a bit before our table was ready even though we had booked but it was only for a few minutes. Overall experience was great!

Impromptu visit with a friend. Lovely food, good service. Will definitely go back - we were last to leave but didn't feel rushed. Had a slight issue with one of the drinks and this was rectified very quickly without having to ask - very efficient service. Highly recommend 😍

My partner and I visited Siamais for our anniversary and we absolutely love it! We decided to go in half an hour before our table reservation so we could try some cocktails. We had a lovely welcome by the manager who then showed us to our table. Staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was something else! We decided to have satay chicken, soft shell crab and the Thai meatballs for starters and all of them were so flavourful. Our mains we had chicken with cashew and a lamb massaman curry both so delicious! We highly recommend Siamais, the decor is beautiful and just a really lovely vibe. Thank you!

Best bottomless brunch I’ve had in Birmingham. Food was great, the massaman curry was very nice. Normally disappointed by the food on a bottomless brunch but this was really good. Brilliant service. We was taken care of by Ashanti. She did not disappoint. We arrived for lunch to celebrate our 12th anniversary. Ashanti went beyond her duty and definitely made the experience a memorable one. She even gave us a complimentary desert with a special message attached. Truly thankful for you service. What an absolute joke of a place, Uncle Tim was very upset.. he loves a drink, and managed to walk out with losing a tooth off the kerb… anyway… seems their offer to “bribe people with a shot for good reviews” works on drunk people! Although I’d question if it’s even possible to get drunk here unless you’ve had the vile Prosecco? Used to love this place, this time it was absolutely shocking. The staff are rude and incompetent. 2 drinks in an hour? Nothing “bottomless” about this “brunch”. The food burnt my tongue like it had been microwaved within an inch of its life… fortunately we had 3 non drinkers in our group that pointed out we had been massively overcharged… i guess they expect people on the Prosecco not to check the bill and pay… nearly £70 for a service charge… you can forget that… there was no service!! Also tried to charge the three non alcohol drinkers for an alcohol brunch… erm I’d argue we all should’ve paid the “non alcohol option” since it was so slow and poor. Manager had clearly been briefed with the “we’re busy” sob story… if you have 100 bookings, maybe use an ounce of professionalism and have enough staff to deliver expectations, or better still don’t be greedy and book the amount of customers you can manage with the staff available. I’d avoid… save your money and go somewhere the staff aren’t miserable, sarcastic and passive aggressive!!

Crab cakes are to die for Cocktails are good and in good variety even ones with similar flavours aren't the same. Good service Only downside is no one seems to keep on top of the toilets and theirs no signal. Toilets should be maintained every hour for such a nice place and free WiFi for customers would make sense. They spend alot.

Kristian and Gabby were amazing we had a great time! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with amazing customer service and the energy and charisma from Kristian was absolutely amazing. Gabby was the best in terms of service. It was my first time here but it definitely won't be the last! Would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone!

Best duck salad ever. The starters (calamari & satay chicken) were a really good portion and it tasted delicious. Lovely service and atmosphere! Couldn’t stop talking about it.

It was our first time trying Thai food so we were unsure of what to order. Our server Ananda was very well spoken and explained the dishes well, helping us to pick what to order. I will be coming back to have the Panang Curry again!!

Recently attended this venue and the service was okay up until we had an issue with one of our drinks and informed staff who were happy to amend the bill. Then this random person came over and said ‘you okay’ with no context or introduction. He then brought over the bill to which we questioned the bill regarding the one drink that had not been removed. Following this he questioned our conversation with the previous staff member(Gabriel) and then continued to be very rude and left us with a ruined evening and disappointment. We regularly come here to this restaurant and will no longer be visiting. Poor service and attitude.

Went here as a party of 8 for an evening meal. All staff we encountered were rude and cold. Particularly an older, Asian lady with shoulder length hair with blonde highlights. Her service was the worst. We all ordered starters, mains and drinks, so for the amount of money we spent, we expected SOME hospitality. First and last time visiting there, didn't feel like a valued customer at all. Food is OK but very overpriced for what you're getting. The Tom yum soup was disgusting and watery. Avoid.

Went here for dinner. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is very good and fast. Did not have to wait for them to take our order and for our drinks and food to come out. The food was out of this world and there was a lot of food. Had to bring the rest of my food home. The atmosphere is lively. The only thing I have to say is that the noise was quiet loud. Could not hear what my partner was saying.

The food was extremely tasty. We ordered the cashew stir fry chicky, Pad Thai, egg fried rice and papaya salad. Everything was on point and tasty. Jeanne our host for the day was ever so gracious and helpful.

We went here before a gig on Sunday evening and overall the place is beautifully decorated, great vibes and the cocktails are delicious. The staff are helpful and friendly, though we did find the owner, Nishil who was at the front desk lack lustre and not even a warm welcome or a smile when we arrived; it was a cold start but our waiter was great. Unfortunately, the food was not as authentic as we had thought as all dishes were missing the Thai depth and aromatic flavours that you would find in authentic Thai resturants. As the tables were close to each other, we chatted to a couple of tables around us and we all had the same experience. We're not sure if we all had the 'Sunday Chef' team? For two people our bill came to £110 with sharing starter, 2x mains, 2x sides and 2x drinks. Expensive for what it was but I guess the argument here is that it is central but regardless, was the meal worth it, unfortunately not. Having said that about the food, I would recommend the restaurant as a cocktail and drinks bar and food snacks for sure. It's a lovely place but not for a sit down food. I would say for aromatic thai flavours you'd be better served at smaller establishments outside of the main hub. So not a total loss but a good experience. We'll be back for cocktails and event gatherings before moving onto the evening. The owner also part owns the Thai Edge, Aluna which is Pan Asia food which is also a cocktail/snack bar and Lulu Wild Chinese. The concept is cocktail dining in a great atmosphere and we'll for sure try those places out and see how they compare.

Always one of my favourite restaurants to visit in Birmingham. Ashanti has looked after a few times and she is always very genuine and polite with her service. Will be back again soon!

Visited today before the take that show and do not regret it, came in whilst serving bottomless brunch but was happy to seat us after we went to the bar for drinks. Special shout out to Daniel, the man deserves a raise, he was fab! Definitely recommend this place!

The food was very good, but expensive. We knew the prices, but the amount of duck compared to the price (Red Curry Duck) could have been much more. I was particularly annoyed by the two items "Birmingham Children's Charity" and "Discretionary Service". The items were not even mentioned when the bill was handed over. I find THAT very rude and I will not recommend this restaurant, even if the food was good. There are alternatives. Thanks!

Empty restaurant, shown to a table at the back opposite the toilet door. Asked to sit in the front half of the restaurant, but were told we couldn't, apparently it was only for drinks, even though all the tables were laid up for eating. We were then ignored for 5 minutes . We left!

The food was amazing, the service was rubbish. We booked for my friends birthday and there was literally no staff around when we needed anything. When a complaint was made, there was no apology. Everything just took extra long. Clearly understaffed for a Saturday evening. When we got the birthday cake, no spoon came with it. The staff member said it would come with a sparkler and it didn't. Staff then obviously disappeared. We asked for it to be packed because we didn't have time to even have the cake and they took so long with that, we ended up leaving without it. Only 3 toilets in the ladies, very cramped and hot.

Second excellent meal we have had here. One of the best Thai restaurants we visit. Brilliantly looked after by the staff, especially Kristian our server. Only issue we have is with the change over between the weekend bottomless brunch and evening dining. Having been a couple of times we are used to the relative chaos of having to queue to be seated for evening dining at 6:00pm, it might however put some people off, perhaps there should be a longer buffer period.

It was a bank holiday weekend and we walked in without a reservation but they were still kind enough to squeeze us in! The manager (I think) and our server Ananda were great! :)

Food was pretty good. Drinks were really nice. Atmosphere was ok too. Had the bottomless brunch. Wasn't the most exciting menu but managed to find some dishes I actually quite liked. Had some great cocktails, but the ones available with the bottomless brunch weren't that amazing. However the separate drinks menu had some amazing tasting cocktails. Price was reasonable. It wasn't cheap but at the same time won't bankrupt you. Maybe it was because they were quite busy, but service could have been better. Otherwise a pleasant experience.
