Morrisons in Warwick

I go for breakfast every week but the last 2 weeks have been horrible the bacon is just rubbery and fatty the egg is burnt it's just not nice the drinks machine was cold and the cups are dirty the staff take ages to serve even though there's about 5 people behind the counter just not good

Staff very friendly and helpful . Nice lemon muffin. Tea good. . All self service. Cafe itself not nice. No ambience Cold and floor very dirty. Unit for stacking used trays right next to my table was filthy.. What a shame

Always a good idea to visit when shopping. Kids eat for free with a paying adult. Breakfast is OK. Fast service.

Really looking forward to enjoy a Morriston English breakfast..One being vegetarian & one meat.. The morning started with the menu ordering Which this computerised system is so frustrating its can not be easy to any customer to understand with ordering..after 3 attempts to order ..we finally managed.. The meal arrived unbelievable it was just terrible a waste of my money..uncooked mushrooms Black nasty tasting. vegetarian sausage that had been over cooked their sskins was like leather... the tinned tomatoes & beans in little green pots some green stuff which tasted not quite right? Nothing resembling the photo on the menu screen.. The meat English breakfast was just much of the same just a waste of money.. just nasty the egg was like rubber again over cooked the bacon stringy & fatty cheap cut bacon..nasty..again uncooked mushrooms The only thing that was eatables was the toast.. which was our only part of the breakfast we were able to eat.. To anyone planning to eat English breakfast at Morristons don't waste your money ... I did complain to the waitress she just smiled Not seeming to understand my complaint or even trying to understand why... I told the waitress that I was going to write a written complaint..but again she just smiled? To Morriston management you really need to try your own Leamington English breakfast if you dare...

A very average breakfast wouldn't go bad anytime soon. It was such a shame a few years ago, a very good breakfast. Maybe cost cutting.

Went to buy some essentials and pick up some alcohol for guests. All their alcohol is locked away behind glass screens and ABSOLUTE ZERO SERVICE. Push the call button to purchase alcohol and nobody comes. Pressed several times and waited around 20 minutes before putting my shopping down and walking out of the store. Absolute joke. A female manager in a shirt had attended a previous call from another customer before me so it was operational. I’m now in Sainsbury’s. Much nicer store and better service. The General Manager of Morrisons Leamington Spa should be embarrassed.

came here with my partner today.. obviously it goes as saying you get what you paid for! However I expected it to be edible.. it’s all Morrisons own, so safe to say I won’t be buying Morrisons own. I had the mix grill and my partner had the ultimate breakfast and 2 hot chocs. Only thing that was good was the hot chocs that came from a machine. Bacon was extremely fatty and also cold, majority of the food was cold and seems as if it had been sat out. Once ordered the food,it came out in 5 minutes. Egg was cold, gammon was awful. Mushy peas was cold and hard. Scrambled egg was grey ish and hard. Overall not good. Cleanliness wasn’t as bad. Won’t be returning

Great value food in a basic but clean setting. The food was lovely and the staff were pleasant. Good place for those who want to relax while watching the traffic, this is actually much more relaxing than it sounds

I had the full English breakfast. Scrambled eggs were dry and rubbery, bacon was dry and cold. The food was very cheap and you could tell it had been sitting under a heater for a long time, practically inedible don't waste your money.

Delivery man took the longest route around to my house and food was virtually cold unhappy

Best supermarket café in town and good prices.

Dirty, dirty, dirty! Only went in for a coffee and cake and although nearly every table was empty every single table was covered in dirty plates, crumbs, sugar, dirty napkins...... Just horrible 😞

What a brilliant place! Came here with high expectations from a recommendation and we were certainly not disappointed! Kids roast dinner was a great size for £3.75 with a drink included in that price. I got the scrambled egg and toast and it was not the best I’ve ever had however for £3.50 it was definitely worth it. They even have lockers for the trolleys so it is clear that it is well thought through. The customers were also so friendly and told us we made their day.

Called in for lunch today had to clear our own table as it was filthy and food all over the seats, non of the tables were cleared. Went to order some food and had to wait while the waitress just ignored me while she was putting away cutlery. Food we ordered they had not got, paid for drinks to server our self and the machines were broken! It’s was absolutely filthy and asked for our money back with no apology. Disgusting all round.

Son had a cooked breakfast, egg was dripping in grease, and white on the egg was yellow from the grease. Had no hash browns, so gave him 3 sausages that were rock hard and not edible. Toast had no butter, bacon chewy. Was a nasty experience.

Driver bought the wrong order, marked it as delivered didn't leave me with anything and refused to mark it as not delivered, absolute shambles!

sad to give it a 3 star rating, seems a bit mean, but in actual fact i think overly fair! food was cold and its delivered to your table, staff who are supposed to clear tables simply walk past them, had to clear a table so i could sit down, make your own coffe machine, fine, except machine took so long, we could only drink half before having to leave for an appointment!! other coffee machine broken and a queue a mile long! screaming children while your trying to have a conversation, as parents think its the right of their children to jump up and down on seats with food in their hands screaming, where people in good clothes then have to seat. could see a lot of people disgruntled, it should be a good experience for everyone not just for some!

absolutely disgusting sorry excuse for a breakfast. Asked for poached eggs, I got fried. asked for no mushrooms or black pudding, they put it on there anyway. I asked for extra fried bread, sausage and bacon, they didn't give me any. it was all luke warm at best. Oh and the hashbrowns were soggy! what a flipping waste of money

The food was cold and missing items

Shocking. Left out sauces (that were paid for). Sent two lots of sausages rather than sausage and bacon - so a dry bap with 8 sausages in. Wasn’t edible. Won’t be ordering again (and won’t be going to the cafe in store either judging by this). Should have gone elsewhere.

I have been coming on and off for years I've seen the good and the bad quality of food and service. I'm afraid to say they have changed management again. The quality of food and service was good. It now reverted to long waits and there hardly any customers when I arrived rubbish food poorly cooked or overcooked.

It's so disappointing that no matter how many times you complain about the issues within the cafe, nothing seems to improve. There is not enough staff to run the place and from what I have noticed, they have to bring employees off the shop floor to help out if they're unable to keep up. There are always dirty plates, cutlery and cups etc on tables that stay there until a customer moves them or until a staff member seems to be bothered to clear it. Not only are you waiting extortionate amount of time for your food to be cooked and arrive at your table, it arrives luke warm and you have to wait a long period of time to receive your hot drinks. The staff also look completely disinterested in their job, not only do they ignore customers, they seem to ignore the just-cooked food under the hot light which is seen steaming, so by the time the food is delivered, all the steam has gone and is either luke warm or cold. The cafe overall is just extremely unorganised, severely understaffed (which is mind blowing as they never seem to advertise for staff), poor customer service/hospitality and they seriously need proper chefs and management to run it. Without this, this place will never improve and its such as shame as it has lots of potential.

Sat in Morrison's today Leamington spa store café. Several dirty tables with plates, cups food still on plates. No staff clearing them. Dirty napkins strewned on the floor. Floor dirty needs a sweep. Disgusting come on morrisons not good enough. Service slow as well.

On our visit today, this cafe was awful. Dirty, short staffed, unappetising food, cakes uncovered. Couldn’t find a table due to stacked up dirty pots. The photo tells the story.

Was really rubbish. Food was burnt and chicken burger pink. Told it is brought in pre cooked but they agreed it was pink and raw

Unfortunately, Morrisons restaurant can be a mix of extremes (very good — very poor). My personal opinion is that the requirement for a member of staff to act as a barista is greatly affecting the running of the restaurant. At Warwick they should bring back the multi choice machine and hot water geyser and free up a member of staff. They often don't have enough staff for the restaurant to run smoothly. When the food is freshly prepared it is very good and therefore very good value for money and a positive experience.

I mean for the value I shouldn’t expect too much but I do expect the food to at least be edible. The scrambled eggs were disgusting, all crusty, hard and grey it put me off my entire meal. My friends daughters meal had over cooked peas that were almost brown and the chips were so hard. I stood at the counter waiting for ages just being ignored by staff who could clearly see I was there. When the food arrived they had trouble finding our table number, no one told us where to get drinks when they didn’t come with the meal had to get up and ask, no sauces or cutlery also had to get up and find those too. Absolute disaster staff have no clue what they’re doing.

Item for cream tea was missing jam so spoiled it for team member who ordered this Breakfast was crammed into little box and oily

So disappointed at this branch, we have always been eating at Coventry's cafe and it was great, today this was so low in quality that I would never come back again. Roast chicken no gravy, no dip, no sauce, cold and definitely not fresh as it was hard as stone! We had to return it for microwave so at least is eatable! When they present food no one told us we should get sauces from the counter or where to find cutlery! So hospitality zero! To make this a fair review I can mention that the place is clean, newly furnished, loads of baby highchairs, and comfy seating and lots of seatings.

There was no mushy pease. The scampi was really rubbery and the bread crusts were stale! Not happy!

Only ordered as it was the only choice for breakfast. It was awful stone cold looked like it had been served to someone who didn't eat it and they uses for my delivery. Won't use again.

They sent our breakfast wrong, then again with items missing. We had to queue to get our drinks resulting in our food being cold. Ended with my husband not being able to eat because it was too gross. If you like precooked, reheated, cold mush... then this is the place for you

If you like your food cold and soggy. This is the place for you. Only if you expect different food from what you ordered ofcourse. Out of everything we ordered the only thing correct was the juice we grabbed at the till. Nasty food bad service. Mic drop

Food was stone cold when it arrived, I did a make your own breakfast and they just put what they wanted in the box and forgot to even add beans! Also forgot my drink and when I told the delivery guy he said “that’s your problems now phone them I don’t care” absolutely disgusting service!! And appalling food.

Incredible. The quality of the food for the price you pay is unbelievable. Fantastic eco-friendly packaging as well. I opted to "create your own breakfast" at 99p per item. I will definitely be back to order time and time again from this wonderful establishment.

Food is solid, service okay. Good value for money. Can run out of nearly everything which is very poor for a supermarket and occasionally closed for no good reason. You can't rely on them which is a bit sad.

We both had a breakfast.... Every item cold except the fried egg they just cooked... Cold bean's...cold bacon...cold and burnt sausages... Cold hash browns...cold mushroom (only get one mushroom)... And toast that has hardly been toasted... So if you want a hot breakfast don't eat here... They always seem to have a (that will do attitude)

Grubby and sticky tables, plates not clean, lots of leftover plates left over all the tables. This was a quiet time of the day so no excuse really. Disappointed as it used to be a lot better.

Thursday evening meal is valuable but the quality is poor. Fries are over cooked and not crispy. The burger bun seems pressed to become not a round shape anymore . The lettuce not fresh. This is my first time having a burger at Morrison cafe and I won’t order it again here. I have tried Tesco cafe is much more better. Can someone help this cafe to improve the food quality?

Such a poorly managed cafe. There is one guy who is extremely busy running the hot plate, till and drinks. He needs recognition of working so hard. Would management kindly revisit their objectives and re prioritise - if the cafe is short staffed then use staff from within the store and let the customers know of the situation. If customers are made aware it will prevent complaints. A big up to the one guy running the cafe 👏 👏

Morrisons Brew café The coffee smells amazing and is always delicious, i wouldn't want to get my coffee anywhere else. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and have never had an issue with the almond milk cappuccino. The area is always clean and tidy and the atmosphere is relaxed. The prices are really good especially compared to other coffee places and there is a good selection of snacks and pastries available if you do not have allergies. The member of staff i normally see there is easily one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. He always has a big smile to greet you with, super friendly, helpful and generally brightens up your day.

Did my shopping at morrisons leamington yesterday. Bought 2 joints of beef and other things. Cashed out and went out the door only to be stopped and accused of shop lifting which I was innocent.The meat which I purchased did not have the code cancelled at the till. So I find myself left very embarrassed with the whole situation.I was awarded £ 5 fefund on my card. Very generous of them I don't think.

Great breakfast. The staff were helpful swapped out the items I didn't want. Top service. Well done.

There is nothing good about this place since it reopened following relaxation of the Covid rules. The selection of sandwiches is almost non existant, the tables remain uncleared, service is slothful and staff are totally indifferent. I give it two stars because it is cheap which is the only good thing I can find to say.

This supermarket is my favourite after Marks and Spencers. There is a good range of products including items from round the world,the clothing is good value and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

This place has always been convenient for the quick and easy family brunch on a Sunday when the budgets are tight. Despite this, the place isn't exactly flawless, I have encountered multiple problems with unclean tables, cutlery and sometimes they mess up my order but every single time I have raised these problems the staff have treated me impeccably and dealt with it promptly. So on the incredible staff and the convenience of the food on a budget I give this cafe 4/5. Thank you Morrison's your staff in Leamington Spa are fantastic and deserve many appraisals.

Sitting waiting for our food. Its been over half an hour. We came for a quick bit on a busy day, but have wasted a lot of time. Won't be back.

Good wholesome food at a reasonable price

I went here about two years ago and had a very nice sunday dinner. However since I went there I have been back a few times and it has been very disappointing. The last time I went here it was very bad. I had a breakfast which was very poor and cold. But what really made it bad was the bacon wasn't cooked properly. The only redeeming thing was the soup starer. Chicken and sweetcorn was quite nice.

Not the best quality food or the cleaness but okay for cheap and quick.

Have eaten here a few times and every time the order has been incorrect. Staff unhelpful and seem to be unable to make a decision. Proving good customer services also seems to be at the bottom of their list along with ensuring that restaurant is clean.

Fuel is cheaper in l/spa than in Stratford 5p for some reason

Surprisingly good breakfast! Refillable hot drinks Good quality food, all cooked well. You can substitute items which is great On one occasion they got the order wrong, but corrected it.

My prehistoric dinner was simply scrumptious! I especially loved the part where the black pudding broke the plate, I love a good challenge and the hash browns sure as hell gave my jaw a worthy adversary, my tomato's were so fresh they hadn't even formed yet, the big daddy breakfast from Morrisons cafe gets 2 fossils out of 5 from me.

Well where did I start food was burnt I think the black pudding was from last week or maybe last year hash browns where more like hash blacks eggs went for a swim in oil the toast was good though

The Coffee Shop always has polite staff and will make my coffee hot, well done

Very poor service today, was told food would be 20 minutes and after 40 we enquired how much longer, was told another 10 minutes. Eventually took an hour. Many others also waiting.

Went today, which was at last minute to grab a few bits. We quickly went to grab some bread to go to the checkout as it was literally just gone 4 o’clock and they close early on a Sunday. However, one rude staff member, a lady, around 50s grey curly hair, then decided to nag at my mum asking why she was still walking around the shop when they have closed and told her to hurry up, even though there was plenty of other people finishing off their shopping and she was looking to see where the bread was. I then walked past her and she rudely put her arm up towards me looking at her watch and huffing. Disgusting, rude and mannerless behaviour. That isn’t a way to treat customers, I’m appalled. And if that’s what your staff are like, you’ll be losing a lot of customers.
