I ordered 2 Large Plain hot chocolates and one coconut milk hot chocolate and they've given all 3 as whole milk! Lazy and very dangerous !! I went to ask for it to be changed and the staff tried to tell me he definatly did used it?? I had to go back and fourth for him to make it again. If I'm having a reaction to the whole milk CLEARLY it wasn't an alternative milk!!!!!!

New menu! Some interesting dishes to try! That said I miss the smoked duck and the cheese soufflé! Very good service from Val, Khalena, Sandor. Food prep from Luke and the kitchen brigade; the asparagus salad was really a potato salad (hardly any asparagus!). Let’s hope it’s an improvement next week!

Sandor delivered very good service on the 9th March; thank you. The food was served in a timely manner and all dishes were good.

This beautiful pub definitely took a dip under the last management but we were so pleased yesterday when we decided to go back and give it one last try since they had left. I’m so glad we did. Totally back on top form! We received a warm welcome, pub was clean and comfy, the friendly staff engaged in conversation while we were at the bar, no long waits and the food really was plentiful and so tasty! So pleased to see that calm has returned to this beautiful pub. By all means read the recent negative reviews which were no doubt justified at the time but don’t be deterred from visiting now!

Awful service from the “cooks”, I would say chefs but that’s pushing it. Ordered tapas and when the calamari came it looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen. Way to over cooked, I literally bit into it and it was like silicone, I asked for another because it was over cooked and the “cook “ said no, ( I think they had been binge watching Gordon Ramsey) I was told that they cook it the same every time, that’s funny because I must have missed your cooking “skills “ in my previous visits. Then had to fight for half an hour for them to get the bill right and at first they said I couldn’t use my blue light card. Seriously shocking

Breakfast here was absolutely awful. Everything was lukewarm and had fake grill marks on it. The sausage was of very low quality, which made it soft and squishy. The ‘grilled’ tomato was a raw, hard tomato which had just been shown the grill. The beans were overcooked and somehow completely tasteless. The best part was the mushroom and even then that didn’t have much going for it.

Terrible breakfast/brunch. Ordered "fluffy pancakes" with bacon and mayple syrup. The pancakes were stodgy they had clearly been microwaved and the bacon was so thick it was like sliced gammon. The waitress asked if I was enjoying and I was truthful and said no, explained why and she just shrugged and walked off. Was supposed to be a treat for my daughter but even she who eats her own boggies wouldn't eat the pancakes. Not sure why you would offer pancakes and bacon if you're not gonna do it properly

Attend for some Sunday lunch, there was a queue due to the fact nobody was clearing the dirties off the empty tables. After a lengthy time waiting for a table we were shown to a table which was cleaned after we were seated. We then had to queue again to order food, then waiting a further 35 minutes to be served up dry beef burgers and jacket potatoe with no edible skin or butter ? The waitress asked me if everything was ok I said No and she walked off to serve someone else. A big 0/10 for food / organisation & value for money

Always a good meal at the Albion. They have a very good chef team by the looks of it. We have been several times and not once had a bad meal. Good prices and good food. Occasionally can get noisy and rowdy, but it's a pub too, so you have to expect that.
