Beacon Harvester in Birmingham

Visité el Beacon un viernes por la noche con mi hija. Tuvimos una comida maravillosa, ambos tuvimos las costillas que estaban cocinadas a la perfección. El equipo fue muy agradable y ambos nos sentimos muy seguros dentro del restaurante con respecto a las reglas de Covid.Bien merece una visita. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Esta fue la primera vez que visitamos el Harvester desde que entraron en vigor las nuevas reglas de Covid. Use sus máscaras hasta que esté sentado en su mesa y luego pueda quitárselas una vez sentado. Nos dieron el menú y luego llamaron a nuestra familia en 2 para ir a la barra de ensaladas donde un servidor preparó nuestros tazones exactamente como nos gustaban, volvimos a la mesa y el servidor trajo nuestras ensaladas. Lo mismo con las bebidas ilimitadas que les trajeron. El personal era amable y servicial preguntando tan pronto como los vasos estaban vacíos si deseábamos que se rellenaran. Todo el personal usaba máscaras y nos pidieron que usáramos máscaras si alguno de nuestro grupo dejaba la mesa para usar el baño. Las comidas estaban calientes y se veían bien. La comida estaba deliciosa deliciosa. Teníamos vegetarianos en nuestro grupo que tenían las pilas de pollo Quorn y dijeron que el recubrimiento de su comida era el más sabroso que habían probado. Nuestra mesa estaba a una distancia de otros comensales y el restaurante estaba impecablemente limpio. He estado usando este pub ya que es local durante años y debe haber gastado una pequeña fortuna allí durante los últimos 6 años. Fui anoche con un amigo para que me dijeran que no se me permitirá entrar con mi hija ya que no se permiten menores de 10 s.

Mi compañero de casa y yo visitamos Beacon Harvester Birmingham ayer para desayunar. Recibimos una bienvenida muy amable y acogedora por parte de Zoe e inmediatamente nos sentimos como en casa. Luego nos sirvió Melissa. El servicio fue de primera clase y nuestro desayuno era de primera clase y una excelente relación calidad-precio para lo que teníamos. Muy abundante y me mantuvo activo todo el día. Definitivamente regresaré y recomiendo de todo corazón el Beacon Harvester Birmingham a todos. ??

Vine aquí para ponernos al día con amigos que no nos quedamos. I had an amazing visit to the beacon harvester, the food was impeccable and the staff were also super kind and friendly, i will be definitely be returning here very soon.

Extremely happy with the measures put in place, the service recieved was equally as great. Special mention must go to Morgan and the lady serving on the salad bar! Glad we chose you for our first meal back out.

In the past I have always held Harvest in high regards however as of late it seems multiple things have changed some for better or worse and on the day the quality is very hit or miss.Biggest issue is with the chunky chips that are claimed to be fried/ cooked multiple times however on 3 instances at different Harvester restaurants they have all tasted awful! They aren't crisp and lack flavour, what is there is mostly starch and a chewy under cooked inner that remins me of eating a bad jacket potato rather than a chip. Will not be going back until things change, sad to say as I've been going since I was young to this place.

Good food, generous portions and lovely salad bar. Sercvice was good didn't wait long for the food after it was ordered

Had booked a table for 6 2 months in advance giving our menu choices. It seemed that the staff were not aware of this so we had to give the order again. This was particularly annoying for a vegetarian in our party who had ordered the vegetarian option in advance. She was told that someone had just had the last one so she had to wait for another one to be prepared. The carvery meals were excellent. It was good to see lamb available but I opted for turkey which was very tasty and not dry as it sometimes can be. There was a terrific choice of vegetables .I normally fight shy of carveries due to canteen style queues but thankfully these were kept to a minimum due to the advance booking system. The waitress who served us couldn't have been more helpful making this a great family occasion.

Visitamos el Harvester el 21/12/19 llegando desde Cumbria. Booked in for there evening with a meal included . Ran out of soup turkey, other alternative was chicken thighs !! and parsnips ,some of the party had just veg. Deserts left consisted of the remnants of a fruit and salad and cheesecake all the other desserts had gone . I have an allergy to chicken and the same spoon for used to put the veg option on to plated that had chicken on them . I asked for the spoon to be changed to avoid cross contamination i was told i would have to wait . After waiting until all had been served i then saw the server / chef produce a spoon from under the servings area so not clear why he made me wait . I complained in the restaurant and at reception and had no response . I will certainely not stay there again .

Have been coming to this restaurant for the last 2 years every month. Last month and today I have experienced the same as last I specifically as for no bacon and this was noted on the iPad when my ordered was taken. So I got my burger and yes it had back. I asked the waitress to exchange this and was told “oh you did say so” no apology. She took ethe burger back to the kitchen took the bacon off and bought me back the same burger. This was disgusting. She looked at me and suggested would you like a new one. Hello I’m sure this aid a standard ? So the burger can back without the bacon however the chicken had on ji you been rushed to be cooked and came out 5Minses after . The burger was of poor statist and only one portion of chips arrived I asked the waitress to where my other chips were but as given a cant be bothered attitude. So the bill arrived I paid cash and was told the bichange will be back shortly !! I waited 25 minutes whilst I watched the waitress rush to the new eaters and went around taking the bills. However not coming back to us after waiting ages I approached the Manager where I eexplaine I haven’t received my change to be given a small apology like she was chewing a pieca elevator band !! I explained Dow aloud like to complain I’ve had to come to the counter to collect my change . Again give I expasked who do I complain to to be told by the manager the complaint will come to her. Overall sloppy poor customer service below standard obviously just wants numbers . They need to pay more attention to details . Called in to this particular branch of the Harvester chain Beacon B43 7AG just off the M6 motor way at the Great Barr junction, last Saturday 26-10-2019 at about 8-30pm its not a branch i use on a regular basis so no real opinion on it until Saturday. Ordered our drinks at the bar and had a wait due to being busy, ok no big deal after a short wait taken to restaurant area to be seated, surprised at the number of children being allowed to just run around the floor area no staff seemed bothered considering hot plates of food being transported around the restaraunt. had to ask several times for order to be taken. Eventually order was taken and food arrived, the steaks were not exactly what we ordered and to be honest the waitress did not seem bothered in the slightest. No one came to ask is your food ok noone seemed to be in control or in charge, i was with a new business colleague and i did not want to cause a scene or make a fuss not my style, but we were both disappointed with what was served, under cooked steak, thin watery peppercorn sauce, and soggy tripple cook fries, ok desert was fine.Male toilets were a disgrace very strong urine smells well below expected hygiene standards, my point is who was in charge poor standards, i know this because i have been lucky and fortunate to eat mi many of there establishments, i am not the sort to make complaints there and then on the night.I did make a feed back complaint on their website outlining my opinions so far no one has bothered to respond to my complaints. Ok so its not top dollar in terms of you get what you payfor but if other branches can meet the performance standards "KPI" then this branch falls well short on food quality , service, and establishment standards. I would not go back to this branch again disappointed guys you let me down, think a visit from senior management is long overdue poor show, but a thumbs up to the Solihull Stratford road branch well done , this branch meets all the KPI.

Stopped off on the way to Manchester for a meal, I'm so glad I did. From the offset I felt very welcome, the host Tyrell was amazing and very polite. A credit to the company. My server Emily was also extremely polite and I'm glad I went with her recommendation, the bone pile. Another credit to the company. I will definitely will return when traveling through the area. Bravo

after the man behind the bar told my two young teenagers to sit down when they were just helping themselves to the worst breakfast buffet i have ever seen (no jam or honey ... juice ran out ...fruit choice was dried out ... no option to just but one tea rather than a bottomless cup for £3.00). ordered food from menu which all arrived correctly and our waitress was lovey, i had vegitarian breakfast with poached eggs, the eggs and spinich were swimming in water and the eggs were ridiculously overcooked. my husband had sausages which were cumberland and far too over herbed for breakfast. would not come here again for breakfast

went to this hotel on a recent Saturday night as a party of 13 to celebrate Grandsons 18th. We were seated right away. After ordering our meals we waited for about 30 mins during which time we enjoyed the free salad bar. our whole party were all served our meals at the same time and all were very good. The staff were all very friendly and nice. and there was a very nice, pleasant atmosphere. all in all a very enjoyable night

Wrong food was brought out, when right food was eventually brought out, after the rest of the family finished their food, i requested it as a take out. Was replied to extremely dismissively and it then took 20 minutes again to receive my takeaway. The ‘manager’ was extremely rude and dismissive and made it out to be my fault.

He evitado a los Harvesters por razones obvias, pero como estaba en el Holiday Inn a la vuelta de la esquina y no quería conducir, era lo mejor de un grupo pobre a poca distancia a pie.

Hemos visitado aquí varias veces recientemente y cada vez que las mesas han estado llenas de desorden, vasos vacíos, platos, etc. el piso está lleno de desorden y los inodoros son un desorden. Siempre están ocupados, de ahí el título, el personal es amable y trabaja duro, pero obviamente necesita más personal para mantener un estándar limpio. La comida está bien, se obtiene lo que se paga, las colas siempre son largas, con tiempos de espera de 30 a 60 minutos. Los asientos tampoco son los más limpios, manchas viejas en ellos.

Visited with friends as they had eaten here before. We arrived at 6.30 the establishment was 1/4 full and all the tables appeared to be squeezed into 1/2 of the available cover area. The service was poor and the food below standard we didn’t complain at the time as we were with friends but did so the following day. Steak was over cooked, chicken dry and the Elton Mess more mess than eton. The gents loos were clearly not being monitored and it was clear that the staff were winding down as the evening progressed.

Super menu. Helpful, efficient, friendly staff. Great beer. Extremely affordable. Nice ambience. Very convenient location to the premiere inn.

I begrude writing this review. I went today with friends. Ordered starters and main meal. The food was exceptional as never but I was very very disappointed in the service time between the meals.

Vine aquí en una fiesta familiar de 6. El "caballero" que nos "dio la bienvenida" fue muy malhumorado y, después de preguntar nuestros nombres, nos preguntó si habíamos reservado. Todos ordenamos hamburguesas. Estos estaban bien. Servicio rápido y personal amable. La opción de bar de ensaladas era excelente y toda la comida parecía fresca. En general estábamos felices. Si tuviéramos que decir que no había muchas fichas y que era un poco caro solo para hamburguesas.

Comimos aquí durante su estancia en el Premier Inn de al lado, se puede tomar el desayuno aquí o en el hotel, pero probamos la cena la primera noche, el amable personal del bar decente es una buena elección en el menú. Los entrantes al estilo de las tapas eran muy buenos, para los platos principales elegí las costillas estándar que eran una buena porción, me da miedo pensar qué tan grandes eran las porciones grandes o "kilo". Las costillas se describieron como hervidas durante tres horas, ¡no sabían igual a pesar de que el maíz en la mazorca sí! Slaw fue descrito como acompañante, pero nunca he visto una porción tan pequeña, probablemente una cucharadita y media. Mi esposa eligió un filete de solomillo, recocido con bastante cartílago. Muy conveniente para el Premier Inn, pero intentaríamos algo diferente si viniéramos aquí de nuevo.

The food was good 'chain' pub grub. The salad bar was a bit tired but otherwise all good. What made our evening special was the excellent service from SHERRIE who was friendly, helpful and efficient.

I used this Harvester when staying at the adjacent Premier Inn for business. The service was great and the salad bar was well stocked and fresh with a great choice. My meal was perfectly cooked (I had the rotisserie chicken which was moist and delicious).

Since the refurb I have to admit the food has been excellent. Breakfast is ok. It’s unlimited but I don’t like how you have to keep asking for more, you just feel embarrassed so I wiwuks not recommend breakfast but evening meal is lovely

This pub is conveniently placed if you staying at the Premier inn. Popped in and was pleasantly surprised that it had a all you can eat salad bar that is free with all main meals. The fish was fresh and well cooked; a generous portion. Selection of salads really good plus a selection of rolls. Thought the miniature crispy rolls were divine. The salad bar is convenient as you can help yourself while waiting for your meal to arrive. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere very relaxing. Food well cooked

Me and my friend went down for lunch on Saturday. We were served by Tiff and I have to say hats off she was on the ball from the starts she arranged our drinks , she was patient and helpful. We placed our order I had chicken burger with fries and my friend had the Salmon. The portions were excellent and she even recommend their chilli sauce which was delicious. Tiff even replaced our drinks for us as she could see we was deep in conversation.. we were then served by Marnie and found her to be friendly and polite too she took our order for desert which tasted Divine. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed the athmosphere and found this Place just gets better and better the staff are friendly the and the place is really cosy. They have slightly changed their menu and this is even better..

Came in here before the England World Cup game on 28th June .. didn’t have food but Keith behind the bar ensured we never ran out of drinks!! Excellent, friendly and efficient service 👍👍

Came here for my birthday in march and i could not fault it however when i come last week the food was brill very fast but they took a while to come and collect our plates so we had move tables..there was plates left on other tables also there was a family next to us that left 10-15 minutes after we arrived and the plates was left on the table for a good 30 minutes before a waiter come and cleared the table. This is expected when it is busy but it was a Monday night around 2-3 sets of couples were there. When i went to the bar to order a dessert as the waiter did not come over and there was 2 waiters just standing around at the bar.

It's a standard Harvester so nothing amazing really but I enjoyed my food both times I went. They have some decent veg-filled options now which I appreciate and I really enjoy the unlimited salad.

My boyfriend and I visited Friday 25th for an evening meal and were served by the exceptionally friendly and professional Sherrie. An absolutely wonderful waitress and a true credit to your establishment.

Food was okay. Mixed grill ordered, and some elements of the meal were not as good as expected, but the quantity of food made up for the lack of quality of some elements of the meal.

What a corporate place this is!! But, the bottomless salad bar is well-worth remembering if you need a meal! The staff were very friendly and helpful here, especially the manager. We ate chips, salad and bread and it was very reasonably priced. The food was very average but there was nothing wrong with it at all. Thank you for the positive experience.

My wife and myself visited here on our way home after collecting my car from service at the other side of Birmingham... we had missed out on lunch due to travelling and thought we would make it a late lunch early dinner.. the place has ample parking and has a travelodge to the rear... we went in and had to wait a few moments as the staff member was sorting drinks at the bar... we were shown to a table shortly after. \the restaurant didnt seem too busy with only a few customers it being about 3.15pm. Our waitress came, a very pleasant young lady, we ordered drinks (Pint of Beer £3.20 and pint of Strobgbow Fruit Cider at £3.95) and when they arrived we ordered two meals from the Early Bird Menu (available 1130hrs till 1700hrs).. namely Cajun Chicken and Plaice at 7.49 each and also had free all you can eat salad... Food was nicely cooked waitress was attentive calling back at least once to check all was good and to check drinks etc. Meal filled us up nicely and unable to tackle dessert.. I will mention that the Salad bar was nicely laid out food was fresh and lovely.. I would happily have just a sald there which cost £3.99. All in all very good pub food

Han estado aquí varias veces. Recomienda la ensalada ilimitado. El personal es alegre especialmente Wendy. Vine aquí el año pasado y fue una experiencia muy mala, pero me pareció que por mi cumpleaños 19 (que fue ayer) intentaré de nuevo como he oído su en sí daba la vuelta ya y que es correcto. ! Me sorprendió! Tuvimos que esperar 15 minutos para una mesa que es comprensible, ya que era un sábado por la noche, pero la cosechadora hizo con su comida era deliciosa, no me puedo quejar es que es caro, pero las porciones son grandes! Muy impresionado y sin duda volveremos!

Me gusta bastante en general, pero este cosechadoras fue horrible. Llegué a las 6 de la tarde y esperaron una hora para nuestra mesa. Por 9. 15:00 no habia recibido mi 16 onzas chuletón. Cuando llegó era casi cruda (pedí medio). Me lo mandaron de vuelta y luego fue hecha y difícil de cortar. Me rendí, pagamos y nos fuimos. Todo el personal era muy estresados, recibían muchas quejas y no quería añadir a sus miserias.

Slow service. Waited 40mins and noticed other tables around us had eaten their food and they had arrived after us! I asked where are meals were and their system had lost our order! Was told they could get our meals straight away but we were to hungry and annoyed to wait so walked out. Won’t be visiting this harvester again!

Since this Harvester has been refurbed we have become regulars. Just love the varied menu & the free salad bar always fresh & tasty. Staff welcoming & efficient. If you visiting Friday night or weekends best to book as is very popular & rightly so as they deserve. Not fine dining but good portion food at great value prices.

Servicio de comida fabulosa fantástico en todos los aspectos genial experiencia. Menú muy bueno, con mucho para elegir. Amplio aparcamiento tanto en frente y detrás del restaurante. El personal es muy amable y educado. En general, una experiencia fantástica.

Una falta total de organización y supervisión durante el día, hemos visitado este restaurante tres veces antes de que el día de navidad y otros eventos durante el año. Nuestros asientos era a las 3 pm estaba sentado en 3, 45:00 pm, el servicio normal...

Very poor service when we went for breakfast - no tables ready initially and was a lengthy wait until our order was taken. We wanted to swap an item off one of the vegetarian breakfasts and despite the fact there had been no problems doing this at another Harvester, the waiter here was quite rude about it and said it was manage's discretion at each individual restaurant. Firstly, Harvester should be doing things consistently. Secondly, they should be wanting to keep customers happy and not making life awkward. Thirdly, if breakfast items will not be swapped, it should say so on the menus, so that people are aware. The waiter did check with the manager and came up with a solution in the end, but the hassle could have easily been avoided if they'd simply been accommodating of dietary preferences in the first place. When the cooked breakfasts arrived, the food was actually very nice (lthough nobody bothered coming over to ask if our food was okay, again very poor service). A couple of our party were going to order some additional food (due to ordering unlimited breakfasts) but disappointingly, by half 11 on the dot, the kitchen stopped doing cooked items and all of the breads, cereals, fruits, juices etc were packed away! I felt it was extremely poor and inconsiderate that no staff came over to give us a few minutes notice before they did this. We didn't get value for money and this left me feeling immensely annoyed and not at all valued as a customer. The lack of facilities is also a problem - only one toasting machine for the whole restaurant, so got stuck in a queue of 7 people all wanting to make toast, heat pancakes/crumpets/muffins etc. The hot drink facilities are right next to the toasting machine; this was also problematic because you couldn't get to this with the queue of people waiting for the toasting machine. It was definitely shambolic and would benefit from someone coming up with a different system to make this more efficient and customer-friendly. Once we'd eaten, nobody came to clear our plates, and after half an hour, I had to call across for one of the staff to bring the bill because none of them made any attempt whatsoever. Even when it did come, the waiter didn't ask how our breakfast was or say anything pleasant. Would return for the nice food but the appalling lack of service left a very bitter taste, so we are unlikely to visit in future.

This was not y first choice but as the one I wanted to visit was fully booked I skeptically tried this one. I was travelling from South Wales with my 2 teenage granddaughters to meet up for contact with their Mum and my other daughter and her to teenage girls from Warrington. This was about half way for both of us.. The table was booked for 1 pm and we were 20 minutes early.. We were met by the manager Rich who showed us to our table, in a bit of an alcove with 3 sides of full length windows so was lovely and light. We were given our Menus and our waitress Nicola was there to take our orders within a few minutes. She was smart very friendly and so helpful... We helped ourselves to the salad bar which was varied and very fresh and we didn't have to wait long at all for our meals.. We all had something different which was all cooked to perfection. Couldn't fault anything - even if I tried - Top ups for coffees were no trouble at all for them.. The whole place was clean and very presentable including the washroom facilities.. The manager Rich was more than accommodating to answer any general questions and also had a few laughs with Nicola... Well done Beacon Harvester. We will definitely be back in a few weeks time .. El Beacon es un restaurante muy bueno pero los precios están por encima de un montón de pubs en la zona, pero con el precio de oferta se acerca en línea con otros pubs

Domingo 10 de julio, visitamos nos llevaron a apropiado de estar cerca del bar de ensaladas, ya que mi esposa es discapacitado y no puede subir escaleras fácilmente. Nuestra visita fue la pena por la interacción de la rica y Emma, ambos muy acogedor y servicial. Todos los empleados necesitan ser n M a ser como estos dos.

Mi compañero fue llevado a una mesa, no estaba preguntó si queríamos bebidas, así que esperamos y esperamos, tenía que ir a la barra para pedir bebidas, la camarera era muy ajetreada conversando con otros empleados, no estaba lleno.

We visited after a day out and stopped off here for a bite to eat with our two children. We were greeted by two members of staff chatting away before they noticed us. We were shown to a table and told someone would be with us soon. The girl on our section seemed to see to everyone else but us for 45 minutes even after trying to get her attention. When she finally came to take our order she didn't give eye contact, seemed fed up and didn't ask if we wanted drinks, I had to ask to order them after she'd taken the food order. She didn't mention anything about the salad bar either. It's been almost 12 years since I went into a harvester so I knew there was one. When she brought the drinks over she put two empty glasses down in front of my husband and son and walked off leaving us to guess if we fill them ourselves or would she bring bottles of soft drink over? She was then no where to be found to ask where we fill the glasses! I took my daughter to the toilets which were disgusting! Loo roll and I'm hoping just water all over the floor and in the sinks, no loo roll in most of the cubicles! The food however was good which is this places only saving grace in my opinion! Other than the gravy which had a thick skin on it when it came out in the metal cup. Staff need customer service training, and training in giving customers restaurant information, and the toilets need to be check more often by staff. I wouldn't even come back for the food. So disappointed as years ago it was a lovely place to visit.

Visited with the family and we were all disappointed! 1. Booked a table for 7.15, didn't get seated until 7.402. Waited 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order. When we did eventually place our order they were out of the kids first choice (no pasta) and of my husband's first choice (chicken stacker). 3. Food took 30 mins to come out and when it did it was not satisfactory. Cajun chicken pasta was bland and dry. 4. After dinner we waited 35 minutes to order desserts. 5. No straws for kids.Needless to say kids were tired and fed up by 10 when we left!On the positive side, staff were all really lovely and helpful, especially the Asian lady who was refilling the salad bar. Really disappointing visit

As it was my birthday I decide on a nice steak at the Harvester.The staff were pleasant enough and the starter was fine but oh dear the main couse was awful.The steak looked fine but even when I cut it up into very small pieces it was impossible to chew it properly. The chips were also dreadfull, thin , hard and tasteless.I hadn't been in the Harvester for some time and I don't think I will be going again.

The welcome and service was really good!!! They were busy and although we waited - as you would expect if somewhere is busy and you haven't booked, the girls were rushing around so what more can you ask for.The food was typical Harvester food - value for money, well cooked, tasty and nicely presented. Nothing not to like here!

He had steak, I had scampi - both were excellent. Moved into the beer garden after and had a couple or four pints. Most excellent.

Excellent food and excellent service couldn't of wished for a better meal out easy to find ample parking with great beer garden for family's toilets facilities was very clean

My third visit and third great experience.The welcome on arrival is great and noticing I was carrying an iPad the lady even asked if I wanted to be seated near a plug - which was very observant and a great offer.I had a steak which was cooked as I expected and during the meal the waitress was attending though nit overbearing - a difficult balance to achieve I will definitely return if I'm in the area

I have been visiting this fine pub for some time and up to now I have been very happy with it. I visited a few days ago and I am now ecstatic about this fine pub now. I am a big fan of fillet steaks and I have had some excellent steaks in many restaurants around the world. My recent visit to the Harvester Great Barr has been something I never expected, I visited with my niece and her husband and as I suggested it I hoped that would live up to the enthusiastic review that I gave to them. As always we were greeted by very pleasant staff and was quickly escorted to a table. We ordered drinks which were quickly presented to us and we then ordered our food. I decided on a Fillet steak and I am so glad I did. When presented to me my first impression was WOW. It was a generous piece of meat that looked like it had been cooked just as I liked my steak. Medium with a nice pink but not bloody interior. It was very easy to cut and was a very tender piece of top quality meat. I would go as far to say that it was the best fillet steak I have ever had in my life. The whole eating out experience at this venue was faultless, the staff were a credit to the manager who should be very proud of his staff. Thank you to you all for a very pleasant experience. I hope to make a return visit in the near future.

Just visited with my sister and although they were having some problems with the gas supply we were served very quickly. The rotisserie chicken was very succulent - salad very fresh and of course I have to mention the yummy Bourbon sauce to go with the chicken. Our server Emma was very attentive and always smiling. Thank you.

Popped in here after travelling home for tea and despite earlier issues with the gas going off we had a lovely tea. Emma, out server, was very helpful - thanks very much.

Ate here whilst we were staying at the premier inn at the back, lovely food, great service and not too pricey. only complaint is the sky sports live bar, said they would not put the formula one on and only played football that day. down mark for that haha

Booked a table on line, and added extra people to the booking via a simple telephone call. Was seated immediately and was served by Emma our fantastic waitress. Everything was sorted by the manager hassle free. Brilliant team that we're happy to be there. Food was great, and would recommend this Harvester to my friends. Clean and good atmosphere. Good job!

The food here is really good, a little pricey but worth it. Great if you are on a diet too. Salad bar selection is vast. Kids menu is always a winner. Its definitely best to book way in advance if you want a table, so many times I've turned up and had to go next door for a curry. Book in advance for a tasty meal and you won't be disappointed.

First time back for a year...a definite improvement. Staff were cheerful and welcoming. Food is as you'd expect from a Harvester. Salads were refreshed frequently. Approximately £23 pp for 2 courses and a couple of drinks.

Good service, lovely salad bar, free when spending £10 or more.Enjoyable meal. Clean well cooked and tasty.

We both had the fillet steak and both were cooked to perfection medium rare and medium .The accompanying vegetables were only warm though as despite not being a busy night were left on the counter for too long after being prepared .Pineapple was absent from the salad bar ..Our drinks order was overlooked so it was some 20 minutes before they appeared .We have had a much better experiences on busy nights , so our 4 star rating reflects the excellent steak and salad bar .

Great value for money if you like the free salad bar. If you don't you can get better value-for-money elsewhere. If you use the free salad bar you will never leave this restaurant hungry. Food is good, menu is imaginative and the recently refurbished bar and restaurant creates a pleasant ambiance. I would recommend this establishment but it's worth booking first to avoid disappointment..

Been here before but as I only live a few streets away and after a night out it made sense to go for brekkie with friends. Took 20 minutes to be seated; ordered eggs Benedict but as usual no salmon. I've been twice prior to today and still no salmon then either. Why never order salmon in for your customers. Also asked for coffee but none at the station. Mention it to waitress but even after brekkie 45 minutes later still no coffee. When complain she said it was there now so what was the issue - issue is that I've paid for unlimited coffee and can't even get one cup until it's time to pay. Had to have tea instead which isn't what I wanted. It's been like this every time we visit for brekkie. Get your act together Harvester.

1st time I've ate here in over a decade. Food was great and a server called Lexi was lovely and friendly and singing away happily as she cleaned tables etc (very good to!) Hope she gets recognised from her employers.

I met up here with some friends, a party of ten of us and it couldn't have been any better. The staff were brilliant! The food was good and tasty. Everything was perfect for us. Thank you so much!!!

We always love to go harvester beacon. The staff are always friendly always best to book though as does get busy and can cause to wait. Easy to book online! We must be lucky after looking at reviews but only once had to wait 20mins and that was because we didn't book. I dont understand why ppl complain about waiting as you can see they are busy I have a child so I find is always best to book! I was really happy with service just wish sometimes we have bit more time for salad starter! Staff are always intentive.Hope i dont mind calling her "the pregnant one" she works so hard and always seems to give it her all and helps whenever she can although shes about to drop :) They only quarm I have is the last few times no pineapple on salad bar and been replaced my son loves pineapple and will only eat cucumber toms and pineapple on the salad bar Food is always nice and helps that I get AA discount break down cover and not alcholics anonymous!

Waited 20 minutes at the bar, serving the regulars first, the the ran out of lager, the barrel needed changing, gave up in the end they just left me standing there.

We had waited 40 minutes to be seated when we were told 20-25 meanwhile, a couple that came in after us were seated before us. When we were finally seated in what seemed to be an air conditioned area despite it being cold already, our food took another 20 minutes to come. The chips were luke warm and the bacon hardly grilled. We were not asked if our food was okay and waited about 10 minutes for someone to take our dessert order while it took two people to clear one table despite a table beside us being messy with all the plates and glasses being dumped there. The toilets were also out of paper with urine on the floor also.

Went for breakfast, £8.49 is full continental breakfast with unlimited tea, coffee, juice.You pick what you would like on your cooked breakfast and while you waitfor it to be cooked, you can enjoy toast, muffins, crumpets, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereal and yoghurt. Kids breakfast is £1.99 and they can have 5 items, which is more than enough for my little one.

Visited on a weekday lunch time. The food was average at best. One meal in the order was wrong when it came and it took forever for it to come back correct, to the point where everyone had nearly finished. We weren't asked for drinks when we were sat down and the drinks arrived after the starters. It was slow and sloppy service although the staff were pleasant enough and apologised for the slowness. Better places locally for similar food and the same price.
