Third or fourth visit to Hereford but first time at the Imperial. What a find. Cosy warm pub with friendly staff and excellent bar food-2 mains and a bottle of wine about £40. Had a pudding between us and the cheesecake came with 2 portions of icecream at £4.50. Will definitely be back

Beautiful sunday dinner, jake even helped out as we had the dog and she likes a Sunday diner so they said she could hav a dinner abd she ate it with us The staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpfull highly recommended

Called in again while visiting friends, like to go here when in the area as they dog friendly, good selection of ales plus other drinks and food is to a good standard at a fair price. And as usual this didn’t disappoint, friendly helpful staff really nothing much else to say, all our food arrived together all tasted great drinks were good and we was even given treats for dogs as well as water. We be back again here when next visiting our friends.

This used to be our go to for lunch, however everything just changed. You now get to sample the food on the menu before you even open the menu, they are dirty with left over food. Staff more interested in discussing shift patterns than checking on food. Now, I like a hot plate for my food, however a hot plate for salad is not nice, slimey lettuce, especially when the main is served units own dish. Also had a game of hide and seek to find the beef in the chilli and the beef and pork in the lasagne. Unfortunately it will be a long time and probably a cold day day in hell before we come back.

We were on a course in Hereford, one of our friends suggested we eat here. We met Jake behind the bar & Ben when he bought our food. These 2 can't do enough to look after their customers. Due to the way we were looked after, we stayed for more drinks. The food was lovely & we all had a lovely evening. Great up, sell on the wine, Jake. You need to be on commission. We are looking forward to returning in August.

Very disappointed with the food. Over priced and over cooked. Had tea and coffee with our food, £3-79 for a pot of tea, with enough tea to fill a cup ( expensive teabag) coffee was served too cold when we ask for it to be heated bar staff checked our time of ordering and told it had been 20 minutes since we’d ordered even though it was cold when it came to the table. We won’t be calling again.

Dropped in for a bite too eat, bacon & burger with lovely fries and plenty of it. Good service , you must order at the bar and the food didn’t take long to arrive. Will eat here again next time we are in Hereford .

Orderd a bowl of chips i paid nearly £4 fir and there were literally 6 chips in the bowl!, i complained the bar and gir shrugged at and was told that is how they are portioned out! I asked for money back to be told NO, disgusting behaviour and service,

Called in for drink while in the area visiting our friends. Order our drinks and sat outside with our dogs, once the ladies had finished shopping they joined us. So thought we would have a look at the menu while here, (rude not to) they had a very good selection and in the end we went for the sharing platters, this was a great way of getting lots of different things for us all to try. Food was to a good standard as was the drinks with some nice real ales on offer at a fair price. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Venue is nice and clean, nothing not to like, we always seem to pop in here when visiting the area, worth a visit.

I was given a glass of wine from a bottle that had clearly been open for a long time and tasted awful. I took a sip of the wine and realised this. I told this to the gentleman at the bar and asked if I could have a glass of wine from a new bottle. He said he would have to charge me for it. I said that I had only had one sip and he could measure it to check. He said I’d still have to pay all over again. I left the glass and took my business elsewhere.

Nice food havnt been for a while but normally it’s good food for a pub. Staff are lovely and good choice of food and starters

This was a very nice breakfast, that was served quickly with plenty of items. Comfortable with excellent pricing. Surprising large establishment.

Afternoon shopping with friends , Popped into imperial for lunch , We ended up ordering afternoon tea , You can choose either tea and coffee , Boozy or cocktails with you afternoon tea , We choose the cocktails which was great , We ordered sex on the beach which was delicious I as were the sandwiches and cake , The portion sizes were fantastic, We needed a doggy bag to take the rest home !

Popped in as we saw the sign outside advertising 2 for the price of 1 cocktails. Expensive at £12.99 and the worst Pornstar Martini cocktail I have ever had! Pre-made on tap and disgusting! Avoid!

Extremely dog friendly. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great service and breakfast was tasty. Definitely be back to sample more food and lovely atmosphere.

Family Christmas dinner . Food and service was great . Will book again next year. Our 10 year old loved the Christmas child burger option. :)

We held our Hereford Veterans Support Centre charity Christmas lunch in The Imperial. The food was outstanding quality (and loads of it!) and very well priced. The staff worked really hard to ensure we were well looked after. We’ll definitely look to come back for future functions and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Wasn’t bad I was in a tent in Iraq. A mish mash of frozen veg on top of passable short rib beef. Not in repeat not beef bougnignon

Wow! We enjoyed a quick bite at lunch and ended up returning for evening meal. The staff were all helpful, polite, and friendly! Could not fault the service. Great selection of food and drinks. Lovely interior and highly recommend!

I recently organised my work's Christmas Party to be at The Imperial Inn and the staff were all very helpful, but in particular Jake went above and beyond to make the night a huge success, I cannot thank him enough. The food was great and enjoyed by all, tables beautifully decorated and the staff were very attentive to us throughout the night. Thank you all!
