Been going to this Harvester for many years and always been a good experience as a disabled person. For some unknown reason they have decided to change the locks on the disabled toilet and now my Radar key doesn't work! This is not acceptable as the Radar key is recognised countrywide and is on possibly 95% of the disabled facilities, so now I cant use the toilet without asking a member of staff and waiting for them to get the key! This is embarrassing, as an adult and especially when the toilet is needed urgently and when the resturant is busy... I will be taking this up with management.

I enjoyed my experience Laila was very attentive and helpful. The food was tasty and overall a good experience at the restaurant

Sherrie was an absolute amazing waitress, service was excellent. Food was really good and served efficiently, very tasty. Sherrie went above and beyond serving every table. Will definitely be coming back again xx

I seem to be visiting this place quite a bit, today I was passing so I dropped in for a coffee I was greeted by Morgan what a beautiful smile, I sat in the bar on one of their high tables the light streaming though the windows onto the optics a great atmosphere

Friendly greeting at the entrance with a reminder to register our car. Only had to wait several minutes for waitress to take our drinks and food order. Salad bar was well stocked and fresh looking. Food arrived promptly. Hubby's food was fine, nice and hot, a triple chicken combo. My food, a triple dirty bird burger, not as good. One piece of chicken, which was a good deal smaller than the other two, was very overcooked and with an ordinary knife was near impossible to cut. The other 2 pieces of chicken were fine. But the onion rings, bacon and hash brown were barely warm. Nobody came to check that everything was okay with our food. Didn't say anything when we paid the bill as too late then.

We visited The Beacon this evening and we had an an amazing meal. The customer service from sheree was exceptional, she greeted us with a smile on her face and filled us with many jokes. Her service was pleasant and made our experience one to remember. When we come back, we hope to see her again with her amazing customer service.

Staying local for business, the Beacon is located next to the hotel I was staying at, I popped in for a pub meal (I don’t do pub meals ) anyway … wow a pub that does proper good pub food … see pics .. chicken and all the timings and a free salad bowl ! the ribeye steak was perfect !chef came out to ask me how I liked it and he delivered … the food was fabulous and fresh they have a good eye for detail .. the staff are fab polite and so helpful from the bar and service staff Chelsea and Caitlin … and to Mike the manager keep doing us proud pub grub at it’s best

We really enjoyed our visit, the service was excellent, the food came quickly and Michael the manager really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble and we will certainly come back again.

The food and service here are incredible. The team are always genuinely happy to help and there’s a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious and well presented.

Visited for a meal with family and our sever Chelsea was fantastic! Couldn’t fault food either, it was lovely. One of the members in our party had an allergen and Chelsea was great in handling that ensuring everything was suitable for them and there needs, even giving the option of going to get to fresh salad for them. Everyone enjoyed there meal and we will for sure be returning. Would recommend.

I love this place a really relaxed atmosphere, great food and amazing service my husband and I both had the haddock and chips the batter just melted and as for the dessert hubby had the apple pie with custard, I had a truly scrumptious dessert called the lemon blizzard, real dairy ice cream, lemon sauce, meringue topped with cream simply lovely

Fabulous. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved that the salad containers on the salad bar were tidy and clean. I had a steak and it was lovely. Cooked just how I wanted.

I’m afraid I can’t give any more than a two based on cleanliness. See photos of loos. Awful. We arrived at 1145 in the morning. Clearly not been cleaned or checked as the ‘loo roll’ stuck to the walls was dry - the graffiti rude and the radiator and window sill dirty. Salad bowl had to be changed due to being dirty with food attached. Is the building not checked prior to being opened daily for business?

The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff are polite. My only complaint is that the food was barely warm. This was our second visit and both times were the same. The food is tasty and good quality. Maybe the plates should be hot then the food would stay hot.

Good location and area where restaurant is situated. Quiet and convenient place. As a family we've been to this restaurant around 15+ times as it's local to us. Food is good, prices is ok and service is good. I'd say 7.5/10 in terms of everything.

Disgusted, wasn't advised about any problems with food preparation times before visiting, ordered food and drinks then was finally told if an hour wait for food, ruined a birthday celebration, didn't wait, waitress not apologetic, dudnt reakkt cate

Tasty breakfast. Fat sausages and creamy scrambled eggs. Lurpak butter! Free coffee refills. Great value and nice atmosphere. Friendly staff

I bought the family for Christmas day. The new manager Michael was so attentive from the booking process through to the day itself. Sometimes going out on Christmas day can be stressful but he took that stress away with his calm nature. The team on the day were great. We will be back next year. Thankyou Michael

We came out for a family meal a few days ago. Our waitress Chelsea was outstanding throughout our whole visit there. One of our family members had an allergy and she was thorough with allergen checks and ensured everything was suitable for them. Chelsea was polite, friendly and matched our family banter and I would happily return to the restaurant just for her! Can’t thank her enough for her amazing customer service.

The food was so good we all really enjoyed it, Megan our server was a very big help to us, she was amazing ,helpful and polite. Definitely would recommend and go back myself.

I took my family here for dinner as I have family close by and I must say it was the best experience i’ve had at a Harvester! I’ve been here a few times in the past and I’ve noticed that there is a new manager running it now, which must be the reason why we had such an excellent experience, will definitely be returning soon! I have never been so cold sitting in a pub as I was here. Both my husband and myself had to sit in our coats to eat. The food went cold due to the temp in the restaurant. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled then basted and roasted and the ribs had no Bbq flavour. The saving grace for this place is the staff they seem pleasant and run off their feet

I'm sat here at a table now and I'm shocked by the language of the workers in the kitchen. Very unprofession,loud and swearing,mainly coming from 2 girls,a blond girl and a dark hair girl both wearing hats. My meal was okay,with the chicken and chips cooked well,the table service I received was good,my desert was a bit of a let down. I didn't think the chocolate fudge cake was great.Very cheap strange tasting chocolate. I did see my meal come out waiting on the hot plate for around 10 mins whilst staff were stood around there looking and chatting,fortunately it was still hot.
