Went in following a funeral, the family and friends of the deceased completely filled the pub, the buffet was excellent as was the staff, lovely little pub

Just had 2 chicken burger meals for £13.50 cooked to perfection Great food great atmosphere, will definitely be visiting again 😄

We had a lovely drink down the local, there were a few people having a drink and a few people watching the footie. Didn't feel out of place at all it was a lovely atmosphere.

Went to Friday fish night. Looked nice until put fork in fish,batter wasn't cooked inside all sloppy,fish was part raw. Told waitress she just cleared plates away. Went to bar told Julie. With a shrug of her shoulders she turned away continued conversation with someone else. No wonder no-one else was eating. Absolutely disgusted does not deserve custom

We didn't eat this time, but will definitely return to try the food. It was great to find such a lovely pub, with traditional values. The staff were great, very efficient and the landlady was always on hand to see that everything was running properly. Well done all

Food amazing steak cooked to perfection took both my mom and daughter biggest food critics and they both said how good the food was and service.

Wewere welcomed by Summer who served our drinks and our food. Summer was extremely polite and proficient for the whole of our visit. The food was very good and well worth the money and caters for all. It was quiet but we think that was due to it being a Tuesday, also we think that management has recently changed. We have made visits in the past and it wasn’t at the standard it is now, so if you have visited before we would recommend that you try the Cross Keys again, you will be pleasantly surprised. We will be returning!

Great beer garden, plenty of space and friendly staff.

I attended this pub to celebrate someone's birthday party. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were absolutely brilliant and the drinks were great. The best pub I have been in for years, I will be visiting again for sure. The pub Manager certainly knows how to run a first rate pub.

Called in just for a drink. Excellent service from the two girls behind the bar and a good friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Hired the pub for a 7th bday party. Staff are very friendly and polite. The whole experience of hiring to on the day was really great. Clean and welcoming. Food was cooked to a high standard and nice. My son had the best time and the beer garden is absolutely beautiful. The best I've seen so far 🤗 can't thank them enough. Would highly recommend to pop in for a pint and some pub grub !!

Just been through to the Cross Keys, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Julie and the team are always welcoming, and with a great atmosphere and excellent food. If you’re ever in the area, it’s well worth a visit!

Under new management and the food was good, best steak I have eaten in a long time, it was a Monday night so the place was really quiet but the service was top notch and the staff really friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it for a first visit, will definitely return!!

Had meal there all frozen meals disgusting no chef short staffed won't b going there again

My son fancied a game of pool and some food so we popped in. The Chef had gone but the landlord of the pub made us our food. Food was really nice! Son loved his buttermilk chicken burger and I opted for steak and ale pie and mash….I could have gone into a food coma! The portions were big and well presented. Great as it’s local, nice food and son had a couple games of pool. Thanks we’ll be back as was a pleasant couple hours out.

Never eaten there, but decent enough for events!

First time in here since lockdown and i was very impressed. Yes it was dead in there but the man serving us went above and beyond to help us. He explained he was trying to build up a good reputation for the pub which was hard due to being in a 'rough' area (his words not mine). Me and my dad really enjoyed our food and will def go back again but maybe on a weekend when it will hopefully have more people in.

Walked in with the mrs. Was sold a pint of Carling that had been pulled earlier,before I walked in. It was flat so I took it back getting it replaced with another drink that was as bad. I won't be going back and would advise anyone to do the same.

Okay so I read the reviews and was a bit apprehensive because some silly faults knocking the rating down that was no fault of the staff at all. Anyway, attended with 29 other people to a Christmas meal we booked and all I can say is the staff A1, the food was out of this world and space and entertainment was great. Drinks a little expensive but that's in every pub lately so no judgment their. This is a family pub and restaurant not the Ritz so yes you have to wait if its a large party as ours was, bit what's the rush ? Enjoy yourself, the staff kindly served appetisers while we waited at no extra cost. The cook has a talent with burgers that I've never known, top quality ingredients no cheap cuts of meat etc. So it's what you make of it yourself we had a great time and I'll be going back. Well done everyone from the Lynx Mcc and family. Ps, sorry to our hostess she took some flack from the lads but took it all in good humour as it was intended. She worked her socks off and deserved a huge mention. Great young lady. Thank you 😊

Right everyone where do I start me and husband had our wedding reception here at the cross keys I really do NOT recommend people to have any events here buffet food was terrible no fillings in sandwich's etc, promised a DJ had NO DJ booked, hired and paid for a marquee with half of decorations was not put up in which I paid the manager to have the back of the pub and marquee all decorated out was only half a job because he could NOT be bothered and said the decorations would cause a mess buts it's a wedding reception what do you expect, the manager was very rude to myself, my husband and all my guests, had to come out of the marquee by 10pm but booked and paid for it until 12am. Please, Please, Please everyone who can see this please do NOT hold any events here he has conned a lot of money out of us and I do NOT want anybody else to experience what we had to go through on Saturday night. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS PUB....... Thanks

Arrived at approximately 2pm on a Sunday for food, but was told kitchen doesn't open until 5pm despite website saying kit hen open from noon until 8pm. Very disappointed. Need to update website.

Lovely little local pub with a great atmosphere

The food is great here, but the pub is understaffed so you may have to wait for quite a while until you receive your order. Its a shame that the pub is so underused. The staff are lovely. (I say staff, it's usually just one person serving and doing the cooking at the same time). Deserves to be more popular than it is.

Nice pub haven't been in for a while nice to see new owners running the pub and they was very helpful has my wife was in a wheelchair hope to be back soon

Went on a Friday afternoon .. so was quiet. Friendly service . Clean premises and nice beer garden .

Had my dads wake no tea or coffee witch said would be only to different sandwiches cheap cakes not happy £240 for not a lot of food and let customers sit where the wake was

Held a baby shower at Cross Keys, food supplied was absolutely amazing, it was so nice not having to worry cooking, mixture of hot and cold food absolutely fantastic, friendly atmosphere, well worth the value.

meals cam two steaks had to be sent back due to being undercooked, my fish shop platter had a fish cake which through over cooking had lost most of filling and the batter on the fish was overcooked with the fish inside being dry. Went to order dessert bearing in mind pub was open till 2000hrs and being told that at 6.40 the kitchen had closed.. cwertainly won't be eating there again.

Very disappointed with the meals here tonight.no gammon...no fish...our breaded mushrooms starter with no salad garnish as stated on menu. The steaks had no onion rings or salad garnish as also stated on menu. Apparently ran out of food....what???? Won't be returning.. far better food in the area. On a positive note...Great music 🙈🙈🙈 and the steak was tasty.

Lovely approachable staff all round. Very good memory of custom, as I've only been there three times yet they remembered exactly who I was and remembered what I'd ordered. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating to parents who are visiting with disabled buggys. I have had a lovely comfortable experience everytime and they really interact well with their customers. Food and drink was exactly what you'd expect from a pub, therefore if you're starving for some good pub food, they definitely deliver on that.

Nice pub and beer garden, the last few times we've been, there's never many people in so not much of an atmosphere, shame as it definitely has potential to be a great pub. Maybe once full lockdown is eased, some live music etc would bring in a crowd.

Lovely food, quick & delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Distancing is maintained and adhered to in terms of being covid secure. Screens on the bar and a one way system are also in place.

Long wait for food and not the standard I had expected when it arrived

Went for the first time this evening with my wife. It was nice and quiet but was a Tuesday evening. The cooks cheese and bacon burger is up there with the best I've had, it was alittle cold in there but a jumper would of been ok. Overall a decent place, female staff member was nice enough and ordering through is easy. Downside last food orders seem to be 7pm, this could be due to covid though.

Visited here today and what a lovely meal we had, shall be definitely going again...

To begin on a positive note, they seem to be well on top of the COVID measures and everything is in place. However, the general “couldn’t care less” attitude towards new customers is a real negative. We waited nearly an hour for our meals (the place wasn’t busy, but we only saw two members of staff), and no one bothered to see if were all right whilst we waited. When the food arrived it was lukewarm and I had to leave a third of my steak because it was inedible. They even managed to miss one item off the plate. The whole feel of the place is not overly friendly. No one came to ask us if our meals were okay, probably because they either knew what the answer would be or they just didn’t care. Needless to say we will not be rushing back.

Just popped in on the way home. Only had burgers. Well cooked with a nice portion of chips and side salad. Staff very helpful and friendly. Young man serving didn’t just ask if the food was okay but took time to explain all the activities during the week. Asked us to make any suggestions to improve the pub and hoped we would visit again. Sincere young man and yes we will pop in again. Nice to be welcomed and our custom appreciated.

Lovely pub with good choice of food, although more vegetarian options would be nice. Service was quick . Some teething issues with coffee machine meant we got an espresso instead of a latte. Overall not bad will definitely try again in couple of months

The cross keys is a lovely local pub. It is often quiet in the day with a low key relaxed atmosphere. It is more lively in the evening often having a variety of entertainment including local singers and cover bands. It is a good pub in Willenhall attracting a diverse crowd of both young and older generations. The pub is spacious with lots of places for large groups to sit. It also hosts an excellent pub quiz.

Board outside advertises food till 4pm on Sunday. Went in to find that's actually not true. Totally understand why the place was empty!!

Went to see a band at the cross keys. Feeling can be best summed up by someone I spoke to. 1. "You won't get pissed in.here tonight'. He's right, two bar staff and the place was busy. Wanted to get a round of drinks but waited half an hour for the que to die down. 2. The guy I spoke to mentioned the attitude of the staff and he was right. They were down right miserable. Without doubt the most unfriendly place I have begged to take money off me. Thankfully, they were that inefficient I did not spend much. 3. The guy said " they need at least another two bar staff, and at least one that smiles". Again, perfectly correct. The staff were down right miserable and whatever you asked them was treated with "why just go somewhere else". The band was fantastic. The management and staff a disgrace.
