Went on Friday 8th Nov to meet some friends. Great atmosphere and excellent service from really friendly staff. Can't fault the place

My new local. Food was top draw had the Chicken Gyros Wrap chips and garlic bread, everything was cooked perfectly really enjoyed. Staff always welcoming what more can you say. 10 out 10.

Guy on the bar tried to charge me twice for my drinks. They brought us the wrong food, and we ordered on the app at 7:10 only to be to be told at 7:30 the kitchen closed at 7:15. But food was good!

We took my mother in law out for a treat and decided to go to the Deer's Leap as it was quite local to her. How disappointing an experience this was. First of all I had a Prosecco which came with an ordinary wine glass, and when I asked for a flute the answer was that they didn't have any! The main meal came out of the kitchen at the same time as the starter! How an you eat the main meal at the same time it's impossible? The waitress told us that if you order the meals all at the same time you receive them at the same time! Well, we'd never heard anything like it, so we asked her to take it back to the kitchen until we had finished out starters. The food was not great, the ambiance was not great and for a Friday evening you would expect the pub to be busy but there was just a handful of guests there and they were not eating. It's sad to say that this pub needs an injection of improvement before it will become lucrative.

Was a family get together and found the staff friendly from the offset. Good selection of food and drinks at good prices.

The assistant manager was very knowledgeable and helpful the member of staff was very pleasant curious and polite

My old stamping ground.. good gaffer, friendly staff..proper boozer but family friendly. Food is way above average pub standard too.. recommended if local 4 years and many visits later all is still great. Fully recommend the jerk chicken skewers...10 out of 10

Great place, good food and good atmosphere. Friendly staff. We had a large party and the staff worked extremely hard to accommodate everyone in a prompt and efficient manner, we had a great night. The staff were amazing especially with the number of people in the party and the different orders. They went above and beyond to make the night special.

Popped in whilst I was working in the area. Really nice traditional pub made up of two rooms. Didn’t eat whilst I was there but they have an extensive menu to choose from.

Went here for lunch today. Beautiful food. Great size portion and very tasty. Definitely recommend.

Currently calling time at 9:15 at the end of Feb 2023, but opening at 12 to save energy. I hope they see this makes no business sense soon as this has a good feeling when the football is on. Shame to see M&B management doing this to locals. I’ve started going the cat and fiddle instead as they are doing normal hours

Staff were friendly and the food was great. The only reason it's a 4 star is that the pub is definitely due a face lift!

It's OK, not the same as yrs ago, there's not much atmosphere any more the manager looks bored. Doubt I'll go there again.

Cold 🥶 mine and Mrs 1st anniversary 💕 food was cold onion rings were soggy and stone my banoffe pie didn't come with the sauce or bananas on it as showed in pictures just a pure fecking joke I'm fuming 😤 ill be swinging by this place to have a word with the management soon want a refund or something done about it felt like that meal was just slapped together with not a care in the world..avoid this place really unhappy

A local to me food was OK but the pub needs refreshing( carpets) toilets, but a good local pub with a friendly atmosphere.

It's a interesting pub. Staff are friendly and the food was nice and at a good price... However, it is obviously in need of decoration and would probably put a lot of people off from wanting to stay. There is a proper bar and separate lounge and it shows Sky Sports football. Beer prices are okay, but weirdly soft drinks seem expensive...

Nice little boozer except they dont have any cask ales or craft ales on keg like shipyard or marsto ns 61 deep

Wife booked a table for four for food - for us and our 2 kids. On arrival i was told they weren't serving food. Why would you not tell us this on booking when we clearly state the requirement? So weird.

Went for a drink on a Saturday night .walked in and the attitude of the manger was enough proper rudeso walked out as we did both manager and his co host who thinks she owns the joint were shouting at us and at one pont the manager said i will knock you out!! And his co host threatened to hunt my wife down saying she stuck her two fingers up at her!! Im surprised they have any customers and to run a place like that shouldn't be in the job.i will be reporting their actions on monday to the brewery!!!

We came into this pub after a 10k run for some lunch. After 40 minutes waiting we asked where our food was... to be told the chef wasn’t there and they had forgot to tell us. Would be angry if it wasn’t so stupid.

lovely bar staff and waiters food is absolutely shocking, chef can't even cook a carrot. we sent out food back the first time as they were burnt then on the second time they brought it out it the veg was still hard and meat was dry and hard. first time coming here and the last time coming here!

There are great bar staff and staff who don't look happy but would still give them 100% but I would like smiles every time it's a business but I'm there to enjoy myself.

Lots of space, comfortable & good prices for a pint. Small selection of draughts but i suppose it's typical community type selections and have to cater for the masses not the few.

A really chilled and family friendly place :) Food was wonderfully great!! It wasn't too loud or formal. And the outdoor area is nice on a warm day.

My local, packed for local derby game Birmingham City v Aston Villa, no trouble whatsoever. This pub has a bowling green too, nice clientele and friendly staff. The lounge serves food and the bar has three screens for Saturday racing and weekend football. Great crowd, wonderful community spirit, proper pub

Lovely family pub with friendly staff. Children welcome. Food was enjoyable and they had a good choice to chose from. Trevor (Manager) was very helpful. Space could be used for functions.

This venue is very children friendly and nice to keep a event.

This pub has a bar and separate lounge. It serves all day up to 2200hrs most days. They will cater for larger parties if asked before hand. Very friendly place with nice beer and one of the cheapest places to drink. Food is also cheepish. Alternative Saturdays they have a disco. So you can have a dance. The have a free to enter quiz night Sundays and Tuesdays can be good fun, nice staff rounds the pub off.

Friendly pub lemonade has been dodgy with ice in the past so don t have a glass with ice no more but ok on the whole

A very pleasant and clean pub/restaurant. You won't find the usual sticky tables in this establishment! They have two separate halls, one more of a pub, the other more of a restaurant. A huge plus for me and my partner is the fact they've got darts, we've been going there regularly. Even the other customers are extremely friendly, they'll just come up to you to have a chat. Haven't really experienced that before. I definitely recommend it.

Haven't been here in years... Was a dive and a trouble spot.. My God was I wrong now.. Great food.. Very friendly staff. Nice and peaceful afternoon lunch.. Didn't have to shout. Background music was good.. Overall a great experience.. Thank you dear's leap. Will be coming back.

Couldn't disagree more about the poor staff review. The bar staff were great, very attentive, and definitely did speak to me and my family when we went up to order. As for the food it was outstanding. The head chef Mark delivered a meal for 9 all at the same time and as it was relatively quiet at the time this was quite a feat. He was clearly on his own and it was a top job. I'm a manager at a pub in a rival national chain so I'd be naturally predisposed to spot the flaws and be especially snarky yet I couldn't fault it. Good work guys, we'll definitely keep coming back

Me and my family came here for food and drinks on the 23rd June about 3oclock, it was my mothers birthday so it was a special occasion, as soon as we walked in the atmosphere wasn't great, we walked up to the bar for drinks,...

Had such a great day here as weather was nice drinks and sun. But what I can't understand is why is there is two dears leaps' in Kingstanding?? Sort it out trip advisor please
