I can recommend The Longhorn for a great place to eat and relax. The open fires really add a warm ambiance to the whole vibe of the pub. The food was absolutely delicious! Piping hot, really tasty and great value. The staff were really friendly. Loved that its dog friendly, even had a table with fresh water anf treats for your 4 legged visitors. It a really nice touch to an already amazing place. Would 100% recommend to family anx friends!

Nothing food was good staff we friendly and welcoming

There was notice to advise that meals were 45 minutes wait time which was fine as it was so busy but we didn't have to wait that long which was great. The starters came out but my sister had soup and it was cold so had to be sent back which was a shame as we had all finished our starters and she was left eating on her own. There were no issues with the main course , everything was great. The staff were all really lovely and there was great care taken with our order when we let her know that one of our party was gluten free - really appreciated :-)

From the outside, it's got a classic, friendly pub look with that big Longhorn sign that's easy to spot. Once you’re in, it’s warm and inviting — cozy booths, dark wood, a spacious layout, and those warm lights that make it feel really relaxed.

Food and service were great.. The restaurant was very cold. This makes me reluctant to come again. Yes there was a workman fixing a fire exit but even when he had finished the restaurant didn't warm up.

Had a lovely afternoon at the long horn. Food was very good. Had the 2 and 3 course deals was excellent value. Nice and hot and served by very friendly staff member. Thank you

I meet my friends here every month. We come back because the staff are so helpful and the food is good. There is a wide choice of dishes all presented nicely. We stay along time but are never rushed. The choice of seating is good and it is always clean. Really love it here and it doesn’t break the bank.

Food was cold went Sunday 27th and had Sunday dinner and the meal was cold gravy was watery and cold worst meal had there

Went to this public house on Sunday 1st time visiting this establishment. Food staff and atmosphere all were outstanding. The staff were so attentive to customers needs absolutely brilliant would highly recommend.

We decided to pop in on the way home as we've eaten there before. On this occasion the food was not to our liking the calamari starter though there seemed plenty of was very salty as was our main meal rib of beef. Not a good day in the kitchen.

Will always like this place. However, meal today was not nice, had crunchy chicken chiabata lunchtime meal and the chicken was greasy, chewy and just grey. Both me and friend thought the same.

Was treated to lunch out here. Food was beautiful I saw chocolate orange sponge on the set menu and was sold. 😂😂 For starters I had garlic ciabatta main as Haddock fish cake and chips Then dessert, omg it was delicious is recommend it to everyone Service was great Food was served quickly and I have allergies this is the first place that have actually asked me and endured my food was labelled when it was delivered to our table Will definitely be going back

Dropped in- unplanned - on a Thursday afternoon. Fairly quiet with prompt service at the bar. Food very nice - usual chain pub grub - but lovely fresh, crisp salad. Nice friendly staff.

Visited here with family for a birthday meal. Food was excellent, very good atmosphere, friendly bar staff. Tables were cleared fairly quickly once finished. A really enjoyable meal.

Birthday Meal We visited to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were starving! We chose the evening set menu which provided great value. Three of us had two courses, with drinks, for just over £50. The service was excellent and the porions were full size (I sometimes find at some restaurants the size of set-meal items is reduced). We were served by Ella and Lilly and the service was excellent. We were warned of a thirty minute wait for food but it was no more than twenty. We can recommend the lasagne and the gammon egg and chips, followed by chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, because that's what we had. We will be back!

Ordered 2 very different meals and both unappetising. 1 mixed grill and the other a chicken dinner Mixed grill was disappointing with the sausage being the best meat on the plate Chicken was rubbery,gammon thinly cut and the steak I couldn't cut. My partners chicken dinner was just as disappointing watery and tasteless. We'd be hard pressed to visit again!

We had a table of 12 for a birthday dinner tonight, the food was lovely and came fairly quick despite the large table and it being a busy Friday night. We were served by Sarah, Kieran and jane? Jon? James? (Sorry I can’t read the hand writing 🤣) We had top service all night- whole team were very attentive, friendly and acquired all of our needs whilst catering to many other tables.

We Stopped off for a bite to eat early evening as we were returning home after a few days away. The staff were very pleasant & there was plenty of choice of where to sit but the food was rather disappointing, we ordered half a chicken in a hot sauce & salmon fishcakes, we expected the chicken to be a chicken cut in half but instead it was 2 smallish chicken portions & the hot sauce was just a marinade on the chicken which wasn't hot in taste. The chips were bland & the garden peas were mostly uncooked & hard. We should have gone to The Bell on the Walsall Rd it's also an Ember Inn but the food there is always consistently good,

Visited this place for brunch on a Saturday morning with a friend. Large car park and plenty of outside seating, perfect for a summer’s morning. The greeting by a young lady was very pleasant and professional. My pal had the sausage sandwich, I opted for the bacon sandwich both on white, thick sliced bloomer which was fresh and tasty, plenty of bacon on mine. We were served at the table by an extremely well dressed lady by the name of Sarah, turns out she’s a manager. Service was swift, polite and professional. Well worth a visit.

Busy early evening meal. Ordered 1/2 roast chicken but I got 2 legs. 1 was bony. 1 was meaty. They had smeared the lovely Mediterranean garlicky herby sauce all over the chicken making the skin soggy and not crisp. Think it was called chimichurra sauce. Tasted good but would have been better in a jug. Friend had gammon which was a bit thinly sliced in places as in not an even slice. Tasted good though. More care needed.

Great service from Sian and waiting staff at Longhorn Friday, had the curry deal and everything from the starters to the mains was exceptional- will return soon!

i came at lunch time for a meal with my parents. the atmosphere was calm and the waitress was welcoming. we ordered our food with no complications and it was served in good time. the food was amazing i had the posh fish and chips. will definitely be returning for family meals

4 of us had a meal at the longhorn this evening, our table was booked for 7pm, it was an extremely busy night in there and when we ordered food at about 7.30pm there was a sign on the bar saying that there was a 1hr wait for food which was fine, a busy night like that you expect a bit of a wait. An hour and half after ordering we asked where our food was to be told it's on the way out of the kitchen now. 20 minutes later we still hadn't received our food and asked again to be told again it's being plated as we speak. The food eventually came out almost 2hrs after ordering, we then had to ask for cutlery because that hadn't been bought out, then we had to ask for a steak knife for the mixed grill we'd ordered!! The majority of the food was nice, but the chips weren't the best, they tasted as though they'd been reheated in the microwave. We go to the longhorn on a regular basis but this experience has really put us off booking again. There wasn't even an apology offered for keeping us waiting this unacceptable amount of time!!

Kieran and the team were brilliant tonight on an extremely busy night in the restaurant!! Great service and food.

Some of the food was nice, though the plates that were used were not the nicest to use when cutting up the food. Like a high-pitched sound when sharpening knives. Some of the food that was ordered was not correct and very, very long waits for each food to come out to the stage my other half had to go ask at the bar for our pudding to come out. It has a very small range of vegetarian foods that were offered. Couldn't buy two different steaks to be put on the same plate, too.

Car parking was free. Food was good. The menu had changed, so whilst I like going for my old favourites it was good to try something new.

Very nice food. Good menu and even the specials menu is decent with a good selection. The desserts are worth having and look great, taste even better.

A nice treat as a vegan! Classic pub grub as a vegan can be hard to come by but it was such a nice surprise to have a vegan lasagne in a pub, not to mention a good-tasting one! Fries were great too and it was a bonus treat to have such a delicious vegan dessert on the menu too! Great value and portion sizes - particularly the cheesecake! For £15 for three courses, I was pretty blown away by the quality. My ONLY request would be more vegan starters - namely the breaded mushrooms which apparently have egg in the batter (could easily be vegan!). That said, the staff were so friendly and accommodating in checking the ingredients for us.

Such a fantastic atmosphere and incredible service. We were a large group for a family birthday meal. The staff in particular Jonah, Ella & Tiff were amazing. They all went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

On father’s day me and my grandpa came in i ordered the sunday duo and my grandpa got the free madri through discount, The food was impeccable and up to very high standards the place was lovely and clean dispite it being very busy all of the workers seemed to stay in calm and good spirits one in particular did stand out to me her name was Katia she was extremely patient and helpful with us as we couldn’t make up our minds she suggested the meals we ordered and they didn’t disappoint 100% from me she is a brilliant asset to this pub thumbs up!!!

Me & 2friends visit here monthly for a catch up. Booking is easy (and recommend as it gets busy!) Staff were attentive & friendly. Our table was tended too by Lilly and Kieran - food service time was fine, food was piping hot and tasty. Tables were cleared in a timely manner and both were super polite. I recommend anyone to give this a try if you haven’t already!

My partner was given a voucher for Ember Inns as a Birthday gift. We immediately thought of going to The Longhorne as we have been there before and the food was great. However, my daughter told me not to go there, as people at her workplace in Walsall had said they had eaten there recently and the food had "gone downhill" She was so right! Starter of breaded mushrooms had been heated up and cooked at least twice and steak was like shoe leather, absolutely awful!! The only saving grace was the ice cream dessert which presumably the "chef" had been nowhere near. The meal was served over a 3 hour period, the pub was moderately busy but not packed. All in all a horrible dining experience which I won't be repeating.
