Wow , an hidden gem hidden in plain site

Came here with my 18 yo girlfriend I myself am also 18 I fancied a guiness and a disorano and coke suggested by my girlfriend because I had never tried it. We sat in the garden and my girlfriend tried my Guinness and the staff threaten with kicking us out and not giving a refund for 2 full drinks and all because of a sip All the staff were very antisocial and also didn't look above the age of 18 working the bar

Myself and family had a meal here last night and gotta say it was absolutely amazing!!! Not only was the food amazing the service and hospitality of all the staff was first class too !!! We were a big group of 18 with lots of young kids and the staff were very accommodating. Can’t recommend this place enough

Wonderful well cooked food with a good choice of dishes and they are dog friendly too. In fact the dog was thinking of staying the way he was looked after. Had a great night

Fantastic Sunday roast in a perfect setting

Yesterday, my husband, mother, and I all arrived at our nursery advice session with Helen at Cribs Causeway's John Lewis and it was an utter delight. Helen was friendly, forthright, and exceedingly knowledgeable about every product in her department. We arrived knowing next to nothing about modern prams, car seats, nursery furniture, and feeding equipment, but Helen set us straight clearly and with good humour. We had a lot of fun at our appointment and, while we felt zero pressure to buy anything afterwards, we definitely felt like our needs were taken into account and that Helen and her team would look out for us in future. With that in mind, we will most likely make use of the 10% discount code given to us after our session and be back to gather some bits in the near future.

Thought this place had been closed but was open. Went in for drinks to be told sternly you can only drink in the bar area! I had coffee so ventured to the coffee machine and was told to make it quick then come back to the bar as that area was for diners only. The place was empty. Staff attitude to all the customers we saw in there was awful. Not surprised if it does close or is closing, paying customers should be treated with respect.

Had a three night stay had carvery on arrival food could do with improvement but staff were very helpful and it was late in the evening. Breakfast was well organised and executed The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. All round an excellent stay and would definitely use again

Food good laidies toilets was dirty sinks dirty

Great pub. Little slower on food/drink times than stated on app but was incredibly busy. Otherwise a fine experience. Friendly staff. Cleaned tables away quickly. Can't fault it. One of the better Spoons I've visited and I've visited a lot!

Resturant is amazing, staff are so kind, and food is really nice

Been here a few times for food now. Very good quality food, good portion sizes and nice service. Lovely location and a nice, relaxed setting. One of the better spots on the Barbican.

Despite being on a prominent corner in a small town this Pub' was just the peaceful dining choice we sought. Service good, staff friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. A strange comment but have never tasted garden peas so good. Great fish and chips, fresh and good service. Thank you.

The roast chicken was amazing, really enjoyed, and was surprised by the quality of food, thinking that most touristy spots like this trend to disappoint, however this didn't. Prices are a bit steep, but you pay for the location. Great views! Just watch for the greedy seagulls
