Thought this place had been closed but was open. Went in for drinks to be told sternly you can only drink in the bar area! I had coffee so ventured to the coffee machine and was told to make it quick then come back to the bar as that area was for diners only. The place was empty. Staff attitude to all the customers we saw in there was awful. Not surprised if it does close or is closing, paying customers should be treated with respect.

Turned up for lunch they said they were not taken any bookings as chef was sick even though they had 4 customers In the attitude was awful from the staff just standing behind the bar they couldn't care less.the bathrooms had no toilet paper in no door on ne of the cubical sent my complaint in and guess what still waiting if u can avoid

Shocking place, changed times of closing to 21.00 so last orders were 8-30, no food unless you were staying at premier Inn, but even the people staying at the premier Inn were told they could have drinks but would have to take them to their rooms even though it was before it was about 8 because the mermaid wanted to leave at 9.

Lovely little restaurant/ bar. It was nice and cosy. Not too far of a walk from the beach either so very accessible. The food was great. I had a mixed grill and it was amazing. Great prices too in my opinion. Refillable drinks are available.

Very good cosy place to eat. Very quick service and the food was great and reasonably priced. My friend and I both had the mixed grill. Very good portions and very tasty. Unlimited soft drinks which you make yourself. Definitely worth a visit.

If I could give zero stars I would, Shocking attitude towards customers, followed by shocking service. Appreciate low on staff but there is a way to conduct yourself when in role like this. Bar staff, to waiting staff all the same.

Very disappointed, waited a very long time for food, chose club sandwich with fries. Bread not toasted chicken and bacon cold fries cold, when complained was told it wasn't supposed to be hot, replaced but still fries just warm. Was told lack of staff for the delay, I presume the Manager, was quite abrupt. Customers on the next table complained as well, again I presume, the Manager was quite rude. Usually eat in the Lewins Mead Bristol restaurant no complaints there with the same choice.

We were staying at the premier inn connected to the brewers fayre. We hadn't booked in for breakfast but decided to go down to the restaurant. On arrival we were told quite rudely to wait to be seated! 10 minutes later the same member of staff came back and asked if we had booked. She then pulled a face walked off came back and said chef is refusing you. This was 9am and it says on the website breakfast is served till 10.30 and you don't have to be a resident you can just walk in!! Absolutely disgusting.

We stayed at the Premier Inn for 3 nights over Bank Holiday weekend. On arriving for breakfast on the first morning at the Brewers Fayre we were greeted by a very miserable lady. She didn't crack a smile and obviously did not want to be there. The food was luke warm and some of the trays were empty. There was no decaffeinated coffee or tea. On the second day, our son and family joined us, so we tried breakfast again. Just a repeat of the first day. On the third morning we just had continental breakfast. We spoke to the lady behind the hot food counter She told us that Brewers Fayre were ceasing trading at the beginning of July. Some staff had pre empted redundancy and left for other jobs. That was why there was a shortage of staff. We ate at the Brewers Fayre on the second night. This was ok. On the Sunday the Brewers Fayre was not taking bookings for meals after 6pm. We decided to eat at 5pm. After looking on line the latest bookings were being taken was 4.30. which was too early for us. On returning to the hotel, we heard the receptionist telling a visitor that between 5pm and 6pm the restaurant was open for one course. Conflicting information. We booked this Premier Inn so we could eat as a family on site. We were very disappointed that this did not happen, especially as it was Bank holiday Sunday. We wondered why agency staff weren't employed. Many guests were complaining about the lack of food after 6pm on the Sunday. I rang the Brewers Fayre on returning home. I spoke to Deputy Manager Nathan. He told me to ring Head Office. He also said that the lady behind the hot food counter should not have told us about the staff issues and that Brewers Fayre were ceasing trading .The tables took ages to be cleared. The tables were very sticky. Not a pleasant visit to the Brewers Fayre at Weston. Would definitely not recommend. .

Shocking place. Don’t even have enough food for breakfast. Stood in que wating to get a table and hear chef shouting over to booking lady taking our tables and says how many’s left to come as we’re running out of food. Shocking to hear that in a restaurant. This was at 9.30am, and Charges you £10 for unlimited breakfast which are there guna run out. We walked out before seating. Brewers faryre a big franchise can’t even accommodate enough food for breakfast. I would ask before seating have they enough food first.

Excellent food, service brilliant. Was told their would be a little wait as short staffed but food came within ten minutes. Waiter did great job

Lunch with a group of 11 friends, excellent service for drinks & food but my burger was somewhat overdone for my taste and the fries very 'crispy'.

There was a 45 minute wait for the food, but wasn't bad when we got it. Mine was tatlsty, the mixed grill. There weren't to many people in there. Staff were polite and friendly

Went to Brewers fayre in WSM today, a group of 12 to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent, the guy Jack who took our order was absolutely amazing. Our server was cheerful, polite and very efficient. The food was excellent, with a very short waiting time, everyone in the party opting for something different. The standard of food was beyond our expectations. Thank you Brewers Fayre for a fabulous experience. Sad that you are leaving WSM. Will definitely be back before you close. Thank you again.

Arrived here at 20 past 8 for some late dinner to be told that their kitchen was closed for orders although the 2 gentleman in front of us had just ordered food which was really disappointing as we had driven half an hour just to specifically go to this brewers fayre as it was nice the last time we went the lady behind the bar was quite rude by asking if we were hotel patrons and because we weren't she refused us service not really good customer service in my eyes the staff were lovely on the previous visit 3 days prior so sort of felt let down.

Went with family for lunch on a day trip to Weston-super-Mare. There were 10 of us, and we placed our orders, basically at the same time. We were told that there was a 30 min wait for food, and we were ok with that. My wife and I were served ours within 15 mins. However, the rest of our party, which included children, had to wait over an hour for theirs, meaning we had long finished before they had even been served. I know it was a bank holiday but it's not good enough really. The food, actually, was very nice, and no one had any complaints, but the wait was annoying to say the least

Me and my family came on a Sunday and had a carvery each. It was lovely gammon cooked nice turkey was nice especially with the gravy. I don’t like stuffing but those stuffing balls was really Good. Everyone loved the Mac and Cheese gooey cheesey goodness. Refill on drinks. Really nice desserts. Staff was friendly nice relaxing atmosphere. We all throughly enjoyed ourselves can’t complain very good value for money.

It's ok but there are much better places in weston to eat that are Independent and local and much better value. Update: 7 years later, not much has changed, I just felt sorry for the staff, seemed they had to turn People away because there was no one to serve etc. on a Sunny day I thought it would have been rammed but it was not. Food average, had a voucher didn't pay full price, beer cheaper than I was expecting. Might return in another 7 years.

Not a good experience, the carvery although vast in selection, unfortunately very poor in taste.

I went for a birthday meal yesterday with my friends there isn't a disabled toilet l, but there is only one disabled cubicle which was in use when I needed the toilet so I had to use one of the other cubicles which ended up with me being unable to get off the toilet due to my mobility plus they need to put grab rails in all the cubicles not very disability friendly but the food is really nice

Enjoyable meal. Friendly welcome. Unfortunately seemed to be short staffed on the night of our visit. Staff on duty tried hard to please and certainly did their best.

Visited with my 4 grandsons lunchtime ....ordered children's meals. Exceptionally small portions certainly not worth £4.99 ......very poor asked for extra chips & had to wait 20mins & not worth waiting for!!!. Certainly not busy. Will definitely NOT be returning......other venues much better value for money

Shown to our table pretty much straight away! Table was clean! Only negative with this was we ended up with the table next to the toilet. Breakfast overall was really nice, English breakfast was hot and enough choice. Sadly because it was so busy not enough of the extras was being refilled so we had to miss out on some breakfast items. My biggest disappointment had to be the coffee machine wasn't working. But overall a nice breakfast! Not worth what they charge as i feel other places have better options at a lower cost.

Had a carvery it was the worst carvery I’ve ever had 1 slice of turkey & beef roast potatoes just warm mash looked to be standing for hours & gravy like water plus no mint sauce

Needed more staff we had booked a table but not ready when we got there when asking about the Sunday meal the girl gave us the wrong information. May be look at training your staff . One member of staff he did look after us in the end.

You only have 1 star because of the staff running around and doing their best. The place has no glass, my wife has just had to have a large wine in a pint glass, no burgers left, over 1 hour wait for food. Brewers fayre you should be ashamed as worst restaurant I’ve been in for many years

Absolute shambles..... Stayed at the Premier Inn and took breakfast on two consecutive days with limited choice due to supply problems. Whilst the evening food was excellent the service was appalling as the restaurant was grossly under staffed and a two course meal was served up in ninety minutes.

Great food and service staff were very helpful with our dairy allergy questions and my granddaughter had a lovely meal and dessert. I myself had fish and chips which were delicious.

Visited WsM and booked a roast. Very tasty and everyone was friendly but why not do table ordering like spoons? You’re clearly short of staff so become more efficient!!

Visited on spec tonight no table booked and surprisingly busy. However the meal and service was very much improved than our previous experiences. The service was good welcoming and polite, didn't even have a long wait, though we were warned that this may be the case and the quality of the food was very good. On our last couple of visits the food has been slightly overcooked, salad poor and just passable. Both our meals were perfectly cooked and the salad fresh and bright (we also found out the chef was working alone and his assistants were quite new! Well done to all. Not fine dining the price reflects this but a very enjoyable evening.

Absolutely terrible customer service will never go to this dive ever again, place is dirty, staff are rude, booked a table for 2.30 to be told when we arrived no chef there until 3pm, told my Muslim husband to have the gammon as that was all that was left in the carvery, disgusting attitude. When asked why they didn't phone to cancel booking as they obviously knew there was no chef in, was told she couldn't be bothered as she would've had to phone at least 20 others as well to let them know, so basically letting 20+ people /families turn up to no chef, and gammon only carvery, young kid tried to show off threating to make my husband leave as we were on the way out the door, 😂😂😂 there was no apology from either staff member for the inconvenience of letting 6 people including 2 disabled people travel in a taxi all the way to town to be treated like dirt. PS your windows need a wash, scruffs.

Clearly understaffed and it's vastly affecting the experience and quality. Queue to order food and drinks was very long and there was no one to check in people who haf booked a table. We weren't walked to our table and we waited 28 minutes for food to arrive. The fish pie was amazing with plenty of fish of size and good quality. The creamy mash was great and it was piping hot! The peas were a let down and I wouldn't even bother as it let's down the presentation. Chips were far too overcooked and the meat for the smothered platter was of poor quality and chewy. The outside is scruffy and signs are missing. There was an empty bottle of wine on the way to the toilet and the toilets weren't clean.

booked a table went up to desk to order was a long queue but as we booked early several customers complained i jumped queue which i did not and as a result the staff member at tills at the time of carnival night agrered with customers to back of the queue this was rude and caused distress for me despite mental health issues

The food was nice, used the daytime value menu again which was great. Food came out quick quickly and was really hot and nice. The trouble was, some of the staff were quite unfriendly and not very welcoming. Our waitress was lovely though, very helpful and really nice. Lots of tables dirty and hadn’t been cleared though too. Wouldn’t return

Booked for table of 4 on Christmas eve place order 1 month in advance for the festive menu and had to fill out a order form for are food only to turn up on time and be told they are only serving there carvery as they were down a chief. Which I can understand to a degree but not to phone and tell us I do not understand my 6 year old was really looking forward to the smash the igloo dessert and burst into tears had they phone we could of arrange something else for him it was not not like there were lots of people book in they would of had to phone as the place was almost empty. The carvery was dry and not very hot as it was probably sat around most of the day and we had to wait for a long time for are dessert which weren't that nice. Shaff took ages to do anything if it was this bad when they are quite I can't imagine how bad it would be if they were busy. Also while I waited for my dessert staff placed up there own dinner with there unwash hands. I am never going back

Shocking service. Arrived for 1pm booking. Finally got some food at about 2.10pm. It was okay but not worth the wait.

I only gave 3stars for the service as they were woefully understaffed and we had to wait an inordinate time for bar service. I didn't complain as its not the bar staffs fault that there were not enough of them

Went for a pre-christmas meal at a mid point fir all family members. Shown to our table and given all of the menus to then be told we could only order carvery which was unexpected. The pub was full with most people eating, so the queue for the carvery was massive, and there was only 1x person serving meats, which meant it took between 20-30 minutes to get your food. Family members had to stagger going up to get their food due to the wait, which meant we didn't actually get to eat as a family with everyone starting / finishing their food at different times. Considering the only food on the menu was the carvery, and that was all the staff needed to focus on, it was disappointing they couldn't even get that right.

great spot for lovely food and close to sea and other local attractions. the food was superb and simon the bar tender was absolutely amazing made our stay for my hubby’s birthday that extra bit special i hope simon gets to hear about how much he’s made our day and hopefully the recognition he deserves every pub needs a guy like simon!

Will start by saying the whole experience was an absolute disgrace. Booked this family meal 4 weeks ago, on turning up there, miraculously the booking seemed to have disappeared from there book !!! A table was finally found after lots of disagreements the only problem with this was that the tables found were to small for the size of party so all squeezed together. Was then informed that because we hadn’t booked could not have the festive meal only the carvery which we had to settle for the only problem with this was that most of the veg dishes had run out, meat was so dry you needed a gallon of gravy on it just to eat it. Ran out of Yorkshire puddings so when new batch arrived they were still frozen in the middle. Ordered puddings 2 turned up wrong, 1 didn’t turn up at all. At this point with so much trouble from start to end of meal couldn’t pay and get out of this dirty place quick enough. If you’re looking for a good meal then avoid this place. Disappointing to say the least.

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door. As I was running late for a gig, I thought I would grab a quick roast. Appalling. The meats were dry and limited. Only Turkey and allegedly a gammon! The vegetables were so soft you could have pureed them. I won't make the mistake of eating there again. Nice staff though, and good service from them.

We went for our teams Christmas meal and when we got there the manager Claire showed us to our table and it was all set up ready for us. The barman Martin was soooo good alongside Claire making us all lots of cocktails 🍸 our food arrived very quickly and was soooo yummy and Tracie was so quick and so attentive to all our needs. I can highly recommend this restaurant 🎄

From the minute we all stepped in there, the atmosphere was brilliant. The bar server and the manager were very polite and friendly. We all had from the Christmas menu and none of us were Disappointed. I have the Salmon in pastry with new potatoes and stem broccoli, it was an absolute delight and for pudding I had the Christmas pudding in Brandy sauce. I highly recommend them both. Place looked lovely with all the beautiful Christmas decorations. 10/10 from me x

Went out as a group, started off well by having Diet Coke on draught… and free refills, none of this Coke Zero crap! Had a beautiful meal, garlic and herb mushrooms, always a good start! Beautifully cooked rump steak and not a pea or tomato in sight, just the way I ordered it! And a caramel nibble sundae for dessert! A truly enjoyable night! Service was fab, food turned up in a timely manner, service with a smile from the waitress and manager and an excellent bar person! A overall fabulous evening! X

My son has a nut allergy, this restaurant took it very seriously and made the experience a bit more relaxing even with 3 young kids.

What an enjoyable evening in Brewers Fayre restaurant in Weston super Mare. The food was excellent & the staff were too…especially Simon, Debbie & Ben who were so helpful & pleasant. We will definitely return soon…we all love this place & highly recommend it….you will be well looked after!

Booked a breakfast. We waited to be seated for 15 minutes when the manager asked what we were doing, I said waiting for breakfast to which he replied we closed at 10, and tried to blame the hotel staff. After checking with reception my husband returned to the restaurant where the Manager said I'll close when I f*** ing want to when I ve got no staff. With a Manager and his attitude I'm not surprised he has no staff. Had no interest or concern for the customer. Unfortunately I have to add a rating in order to post !

Gorgeous lunch thank you to Andy the chef, the steak and meats in the mixed grill were perfect and the Haddock better than many fish and chip shops that specialise. Wheelchair friendly we will definitely be back.

stayed with the hotel next door that booked breakfast for us the afternoon before, we booked for 10am slot. on arrival the staff greeting us and showing us to our table was very rude! I wanted a mug to make tea and when i asked a male staff member they was very rude, I waited 5 minutes and still not mugs so on asking a female member of staff for a mug I was told all mugs are being use and there was none. I got in the queue for a cooked breakfast only to be told by a very rude manager that there was no food left! there was 8 people in the queue before me and 10 after. this is very poor and we requested a refund that the hotel gave us .

Breakfast - plenty of space and choice of food. We were seated but would of preferred to of made our own table location choice. Went early as recommended by other reviewers. Bacon was very watery and I personally would of liked cooked a little more....

After a few visits to the restaurant during my many travels, it feels very dated, and a bit unloved. It seems to lack warmth, and aesthetic appeal. The food is what it is, and people's taste's vary, so will let you make up your own minds on that one. The staff are lovely, and that's one thing that tends to stay consistent, however the banter at the bar is a bit lacking, and it doesn't make you feel like going back and ordering another drink. As far as breakfast goes, I can't comment, as not had breakfast in there for years.

Family friendly, all on one level so disabled friendly also . Space between tables ,good choices on menu ,decent prices well cooked had to wait a few minutes as it was busy but drinks available at the bar including cocktails ,good range of alcohol free...

As we were staying in the Premier Inn for 2 nights we decided to try this restaurant which is adjoined to the hotel, I'm so glad we did, the menu was really good, our food was lovely and also at an excellent price, enjoyed so...

sorry guys, but you need to take a leaf out of other prem resturants, shocking guys, not good, always do the meal deal, worst ive had.....infact i might stop doing it now. sad times,

I was staying at the Premier Inn at the Seafront at Weston Super Mare and had booked breakfast so had it hear The cost was £9.99 for a full English breakfast - as it was fairly quiet being a Monday morning and also early - cooked breakfast was made to order which at least meant that everything was fresh - otherwise help yourself Staff polite - - early breakfast for an early get away

Tried again with our children after having a poor experience a couple of years ago. We were told no colouring, but saw stacks of it as we were leaving. Plates too hot for the children, and service was abrupt. Never again

Staff a bit grumpy and food portions small and not cooked to our taste. Couldn't send steaks back to be cooked a bit longer as Staff had done a disappearing act.😣

Staying at the connecting Premier Inn, the service from staff at Brewers Fayre was amazing! So friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast and dinner, both at busy times and I saw how great they all really are at their jobs. Thank you so much for making our dining experience so enjoyable, especially Simon! See you all again soon when we’re back up at W-S-M!

We didn't eat there, therefore no rating. The barman was very friendly & so were a few others that we got chatting to. It's a nice pub to go to when staying at the Premier Inn next door.

It is a nice place to have both dinner and breakfast connected to the Premier Inn, but you can come as an outside customer and still get served.

I have never been met with such rudeness!! from a obnoxious manager in all my life the way he spoke to my wife and I just because I was enquiry about xmas dinner!! Is this the way you speak to your staff?? Your rudeness was...

We have visited this restaurant,three times in the past months for Sunday Lunch,each time hoping it will improve.after yesterday,no way will we return.food unappetizing,Luke warm,cold plates and the most awful roast potatoes.couldn't eat it.understaffed and the ones that are there,not helpful.used to be a lovely...

We went in 20 minutes before our booking, waited 10 minutes to book in. The guy who booked us in then moaned oh I have to clean ya table seeming your early. 2pm was our booking and we wanted the carvery and the guy said they’ve stopped the carvery because ran out of meat, then said there’s only enough for people and it’s only gammon, we said no and ordered from the main menu, myself and my mum ordered latte but they were cold, spoke to a member of staff but he reckons the machine was working, I went for a second latte and again that one was cold, the lady behind the till where we went ordering our meals was moaning to a woman in front of us being a manager and wondered why she was promoted. Won’t be going here again could put no stars!

Food was great, and the service (including booking for Christmas) was superb.
