We came to Wilton for an evening for pizza, can’t fault the pizza and location however, not happy when the bill came. I don’t like it when a service charge is added without my permission. I want to add my own charge if I believe it is deserved. When I asked for the charge to be removed I felt tension from one of the servers who did not come to the table with my new bill. I did leave extra but it has to be on my terms not the terms of the location.

We were visiting friends who live in Westbury and they had booked a table for us all to have Sunday lunch. First of all the welcome we received was excellent, our food and drinks order was taken by a very attentive member of staff. Unfortunately what followed was not so great. My wife decided on the fish and chips and her meal was excellent and we couldn’t fault it.Unfortunately three of us selected the roast sirloin of beef, when it arrived it looked great pink how I like it but on trying to cut it, it was very rubbery. all three of us agreed it wasn’t satisfactory. The waitress suggested bringing us sharper knives, we said that it shouldn’t need this with which she took the food away to be cooked longer without asking if we would like to re select . As I have stated my wife’s meal was fine but she had to eat hers whilst we waited for ours to be cooked longer and she felt awkward eating whilst we waited for ours. When the food reappeared it looked overcooked my beef had curled, the roast parsnips looked boiled not roasted, the carrots were grey and hadn’t been topped and tailed. All three of us left the majority of our food and to be honest when we asked for the bill we weren’t charged for the three roast dinners having mentioned that we were disappointed with the quality. We did pay for my wife’s meal as I said was excellent. I know we weren’t charged for the meals that weren’t satisfactory and my wife’s meal was fine hence the review.

Stopped off for a late lunch/early dinner. So much to choose from. Had the steak and ale pie with mash and the steak and kidney pudding with mash. Both delicious, hot and plentiful. Amazing value for money. Staff very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Lovely place for families, dog friendly too. 5 star on all fronts.

We chose this pub as it’s a half way point for family to meet. The pub itself is lovely nice feel to it, lovely village. Great beer selection. Allows dogs and the beer garden would be lovely weather permitting. Easy to park. The food however was mediocre. I had a steak sandwich with mushrooms. Not in edible but the steak was grisly and chewy. My husbands club sandwich was cold. The rest of the diners didn’t say their food was awful just could have been better for the price. Also suspect they were understaffed the day we went as while the staff were very friendly service was slow which was ok for us as we were wanting a long lunch but might not have suited others. So all in all not awful but we wouldn’t retune for food. I would like to try the beers but couldn’t as I was driving 😁

Visited for the first time for a carvery, we were intentionally early and did not expect the table to be ready and were quite happy to have a drink in the garden. We were advised to scan the QR code on the table to order. I scanned the code secured below a transparent disc on the table, it took me to what appeared to be the pub webpage, I ordered and paid on my phone. No drinks arrived, I checked my credit card history which showed activity from a movie company. I then spoke to a different member of staff who wasn't surprised and seemed to know all about the forged QR codes and the cloned website. I was then able to order drinks at the bar, our reserved table was ready on time, and the carvery was first class. The following day I contacted my credit card company and after explaining the circumstances they issued me a new card with a new number. I emailed the Pub who were very apologetic and forwarded my observations to their head office , that was over two weeks ago and I've heard nothing since. I should add I did not lose any money as a result of this but if I had not taken the action I did I suspect the outcome could have been much different. Don't let this put you off ,the food is very good, but do not scan the QR codes just navigate to the website , and with your table number you can order your drinks that way.

Disorganised. Tables being sat and told of table service but then no one taking orders or giving out menus. Tables were putting hands up to catch the eyes of servers. When people were going in to order due to waiting so long, a server was quite rude. Our drinks came 20 minutes before food. Our order came and both were wrong. Then had to wait another 15 minutes to correct the order. When we did eat, it was ok but not worth the money,

Absolutely disgusted with Cosy Club in Salisbury. When asking for information on certain ingredients in the dishes, the actual manager informed us, due to protocol he could not ask the chef if there was garlic in certain dishes. Well what a load of rubbish I think he will find that legally due to allergies each dish should have a list of all ingredients. Stay well clear of Cosy Club if this is their approach to life and death information.

Would give 5 for food, welcome, location, dog friendly. The pub had an oven problem - they even phoned to warn me that some food items would be impossible to cook, but some would still be available. Impressive. My only criticism is that I paid the bill - but did not realise until I got home that 10% service is automatically included. I thought that sharp practice had largely stopped a while ago - but I note that other visitors have made the same comment. It's a shame, because the pub, food and staff are great - and I will certainly return. But the auto addition of 10% should be stopped. Is it a Butcombe Group corporate requirement? Regards Jon

Went here as a start of a celebratory weekend in the area and chose it for its good menu options for my wife who is Coeliac. However, despite the NGC claim on the menu they actually didn't have much choice at all. To be fair, the food that the non Coeliacs had was pretty decent (apart from not much meat on the ribs), However, the service was appalling. It wasn't busy but we waited over an hour for our food. The place felt like it needed a good clean, especially the carpets. Suspect it lives off its location. Fortunately it didn't spoil our weekend, although we were a bit late starting, but would not go back

We stopped here for a Sunday roast and had a fantastic experience! The man behind the bar was very friendly and accomodating, he managed to squeeze our family in even though they were very busy. The pork roast would have to be the best one I have had so far! Would definitely recommend this place!
