My wife Visited a local shop today and me and my daughter went in for a Drink and a bacon sandwich. I have to say what an outstanding place and a must to visit the food they were bringing out to other Clients look amazing such a friendly atmosphere definitely recommended

Great quick stop with a relaxed vibe. We ordered the Tiger Maki and Avocado Asparagus Maki. Both very good!

A wonderful pub with great food and staff. Stayed over the road and came on several occasions - delightful every time. The only pub we've ever been to (and we've been to a few!!) to deliver roast potatoes as good as home. Lovely inside - with comfy leather chairs - and out - with a verdant garden and peaceful garden. An absolute gem.

Now the carvery has moved from the George in Sandy Lane to the Greyhound at Bromham I couldn’t resist those few extra miles to enjoy my favourite roast cooked by someone else…in my opinion the best in this area… a not to be missed lunchtime treat. It was great to see friendly faces as all staff from Sandy Lane have been moved to Bromham, nice touch. As a disabled person i struggled a little getting up the stairs, next time I may have a quiet word with the staff to see if they could serve me downstairs. No harm in asking! I look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Great beer, warm welcome, lovely warm stove and above all..... HOT FOOD ON HOT PLATES! So few chefs bother heating the plates and the food goes tepid within minutes; thank you for a delicious meal served HOT.

Ate here multiple times during my stay in Amesbury and every meal was delicious. Wether the pizza, salmon, cheesecake or any of the pasta dishes, everything was fresh and prepared perfectly!

Been here many of times, the food is always beautiful and a great service from the staff, a couple of times we have unfortunately not been able to get a seat, it is very popular! Poached eggs are always cooked to perfection. Cakes are beautiful 🤩 highly recommend

My favourite place to go and eat. The food is amazing and the pork and cheese dumplings especially are to die for. All the staff are really friendly and the pub itself has a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful food, the service, atmosphere is superb.

Amazing. Would absolutely recommend a visit. We shared tacos, a burrito and a quesadilla. The sweet potato and the fish tacos really stood out, they were incredible. But also the chicken burrito. Service was great, and the atmosphere was really nice. Right next to a public car park which is free after 6pm, so very convenient location too!
