Fantastic location, lovely helpful staff, excellent choices on the menu at fair prices, local ales, great for kids and dogs! A proper English country pub, hurrah!

Popped in for a ad hoc lunch on the way to the New Forest and what a delightful pup. A warm genuine welcome when we entered and the food was great value for money and delicious.

Great pub serving really fabulous food. Have visited a few times now and every menu item we've tried has been top quality. Nice atmosphere and not too busy at lunchtime when we visited. Prices are reasonable (more expensive than the big chains, but then the food is so much better - so well worth it).

Fabulous old village pub 10 minutes from Salisbury City centre. A good selection of real ales and a reputation for good food. Lovely beer garden too!

We went here for my friend’s wedding reception. What a fabulous venue! We were in the beer garden area with many marquees set up, including a hog roast being served in one of them. There is a ‘hatch’ into the beer garden meaning guests didn’t have to go into the pub to order drinks - this was easier and quicker! Drinks were a little pricy at £6-£7 a pint. The staff were extremely accommodating and clearly have a lot of love and passion for their business.

A gorgeous village location pub. Very busy on a weekend but good atmosphere and friendly/welcoming staff.

Lovely country pub. Lovely lady boss L., she made sure that she's done all she can to help us get to Longford Castle ( private/ not public access without appointment).And we got there in the end, even though we got 7-10 minutes late to be picked up by the bus booked to enter within the grounds. We had only cheesy fries, being so hot outside, but nice atmosphere, peaceful and good prices. I took pics only without ppl, privacy reasons.

I've used this pub since the late 80s when it was a hall and Woodhouse it just happened that my name was HALL& and drinking partners' name was WOODHOUSE, so we spent quite a lot of there over the years Good old country pub

So horrified to hear that they threw my parents out tonight due to my mother’s reflux medical condition flaring up unfortunately during her birthday meal. Happy 73rd birthday mum! She was as discreet as she could be. How about asking her if there was anything you could get her? Uncaring, Snobby, rude. Food was also basic.

Took our men's group here for lunch as part of our monthly getogether. Couldnt fault it in any way food service and price was excellent 👌

What a great find! Discovered this pub whilst my partner was in A&E. The Landlady couldn't have been more helpful as there was nothing that was too much trouble which was greatly appreciated as my day was going from bad to worse. There seemed to be lots of regular clients, the food was very nice as was the pub with well kept gardens. They are also dog friendly. I highly recommend this pub where the sense of hospitality hasn't deserted them. I will be back when we I next come this way.

Fabulous meal here today- the garden is stunning, service was prompt and friendly, reasonably priced, generous portions and a brand new play area for the little one as well. What a find! We will be back (a lot!)

Really nice traditional pub with a fantastic outdoor play area for the kids. Also a few good vegan options to choose from including vegan ice cream for pudding. I had the vegan lasagna and it was delicious!

By far the best Belly Pork Roast Dinner I have eaten anywhere.👍 The service was exceptional too. Thank you to ALL from the chef, KP and waitresses. Such a lovely place to eat.🤗 Will be back for more soon.

O dear. Our experience is out of kilter with the reviews of others. Our waitress was stony-faced, forgot to ask my husband what he'd like to drink and didn't seem bothered when we gently pointed it out. We're not big eaters but the portion sizes were small, especially considering the prices being charged. The best features were the tea and coffee, and the barman, who was engaging and friendly, going above and beyond to treat customers like guests. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Eaten at the Radnor twice and on both of these occasions we had the most perfect experience. The food is excellent and plentiful. The staff are very friendly attentive and helpfull. Nothing is too much trouble. On our next visit we are taking friends.

Popped in after a hospital visit, but wasn't expecting much. What a nice surprise to come out having had a decent couple of pints and a good lunch. So often disappointed when you go somewhere new, but quite the opposite here and would definitely be back when in the area. Great service from friendly staff. 👏👏👏

Popped in for a snack lunch. Superb greeting by friendly staff. Assistant manager was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the ales on offer as well as the menu. Prompt and efficient service and our sandwiches were excellent. From the breads to the fillings. Delicious chips and a suitable side salad. Beers were tasty and well kept. Lovely atmosphere and a decent view out back to the stream. Definitely worth going to.

Great pub. Hands down the best Roast in the area. I live in Downton and the food knocks all my locals into a top hat. The staff are great. Proper pub.

The Chicken Arrabbiata with dumplings was to die for. All the staff were lovely. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

I came here for a meal with 3 friends on a Friday evening after visiting a friend in Salisbury hospital. As the kitchen was about to close at 8:30pm, they took our order by phone and when we got there the food was lovely and lots of it, in fact I haven't felt so full after a pub meal for a while! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, an altogether nice village pub. We will come again, many thanks.

Wonderful meal with good friends. We were meeting friends at the Radnor Arms but we were running really late after being stuck on the A303. We phoned in to the pub explaining our traffic dilemma and they were so marvellous they held services until we arrived 👍🏆👍. The Halloumi bytes you must try (definitely not for sharing if you can avoid it). We were so late I really didn't have great expectations for my steak but I was wrong as it was just perfect. The staff could not have been any more welcoming or friendly. Will definitely be eating there again. 👍👍👍👍

The loveliest staff ! Every seat was taken and the place was bustling but the girls never lost their cool, always time for a chat and to help disabled clients to their car! Dropped in on the way back from somewhere today on the off chance they had a table and, very fortunately, there was. However, if you are considering eating here, I strongly recommend booking ahead, either on the phone, or through the website. This is an extremely popular pub and the odds of getting a free table are slim. The service is extremely good and the food is astonishing. We both had mains and puddings. The portion sizes are enormous, but more importantly, the quality of the food far outstrips what you may be expecting from a country pub. Value for money here is off the chart. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be going again. Often.

Celebrated Mums 90th birthday yesterday. Food was really good and service was brilliant. Very friendly staff. As we all travelled from different areas it isn't really local to any of us but we will definitely look at doing this again.

They served 15 of us very efficiently. A number chose the sea bass flllets and all spoke of how delicious it was

First time here for a 70th birthday celebration. The food was fab, although stupidly I didn’t take any pictures.

Went for dinner with two friends place was very busy but we had booked Staff were very nice & the menu was good The food was spot on with plenty of choice & decent portions we will try the Sunday lunch soon as we have heard it’s lovely too

Went to this lovely village pub to celebrate a 50th birthday for lunch. Arrived to friendly welcoming staff, and a nice busy but calm atmosphere. We ordered drinks and chose a lively table outside in the shade. Our food was ordereded and a feast arrived. We had the Hoi Sin Bom Boms to start with, and were absolutely mind blowing. Presentation, quality of the home made food and everything about this dish was fantastic. More drinks ordered then the mains, cheese ploughman's, white bait, and a Peri peri chicken burger. Again, all homemade and to the highest standards. The portion sizes are crazy big, so you won't ever go hungry. Boxes were offered by the friendly waitress for us to take home. The entire meal came to kess than £100 for the four of us. Great value, great location, great garden, great staff, great pub!!

Birthday treat. We have been to the Radnor Arms several times and have enjoyed our food. However, last evenings meal was disappointing which was a pity as it was my husband's birthday.Sadly we will not be returning.

As soon as we walked in we were given a very friendly greeting: always a great start. We only popped in for a drink but decided to eat and were very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food which was good value. The friendliness was consistent among all the staff and for me that's an essential ingredient sometimes missing from some establishments. The fabulous collection of beautiful and unusual dahlias at the front was a delight too! So we'll be adding the Radnor Arms to our list of pubs to re-visit.

Their soups are always amazing and this is usually where we take people visiting the area. Their specials are always spot on. Great local, good outdoor seating if you prefer.

I'm not going to pubs a lot but this one could convince me otherwise. Granted, it was a Friday but darn it was full inside with what looked like the dying out breed of true locals. Fantastic beer garden with space and the big tents help when the weather doesn't. The food was above average and the service great. Kid- and dog-friendly. Well done, great place!

Nice country pub, most of the staff could advise me on my beer choices. Big garden with parts under cover of large tents for those pesky rainy moments. Kids area is a little tired and they could do with cutting the thorns back a bit

Met up on a Saturday evening for a meal with friends. Pub was busy with a nice atmosphere and staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Menu was varied and competitively priced (all of our main courses were all less than £20, which is rare these days), and food was excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity. This was our second visit and we shall certainly return again - we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thankyou very much.

A beautiful tradional country pub in the small village of Nunton. Perfect for refreshments after a hike on one of the many routes in the area. A very good selection of tasty, beers and ales with staff that are super friendly and accommodating. There is a large beer garden, dog friendly and has parking on site. I can't praise the staff highly enough for their welcome and the way we were treated throughout our visit.

Im not the kind of person who normally would write reviews but really feel like I need to say how nice it was to walk into a pub that made you feel like one of the locals with friendly and approachable staff good food and beer

We went there late on a weekday and enjoyed some very good pub food with excellent and cheery service. My duck was the best I have had for ages, succulent, well presented and deliciously seasoned. My brother enjoyed his steak pie almost as much !!! We will visit again.

I love this place. Best roast dinner! I am usually disappointed with a Sunday roast when we go out.... never quite hits the mark, but the Radnor has the best Roast I've eaten out and we now travel 30 mins to get there when we need ;) ! a roast. You may have to wait, or be flexible with your timings, as they are usually really busy....but it will be worth it
