Popped into Woody's deli for food and coffee today and after ordering asked for the toilet. Incredibly there is no customer toilet on the premises. I was directed to the Methuen Arms pub next door ( are they aware of this?) or the public toilets in the car park 5 minutes away. With nowhere for customers to wash their hands before eating and not even sanitiser on the table I'm wondering how they've managed to get a food hygiene score for their cafe. Mind you there was no green sticker on display. Not having been offered access to staff toilets I'm now wondering if the staff have somewhere to wash their hands. I like to support independent businesses and don't like to leave negative reviews but if you have no toilets on the premises put a sign up informing customers of this so they don't order and then find this out.

Incredible !! What an amazing baguette I’ve just had the great enjoyment of devouring! Walked in as I had a hankering for something fresh and tasty! Wallop! Salami, pickled red cabbage, thinly sliced emmenthal, cornichons and Russian dressing. Freshly baked baguette, wrapped and tied with a string, served by friendly and proud staff! Yeah, it’s a sandwich … but what a sandwich! If only everywhere we ventured the chef would say “it’s all about taste and freshness!” This one did and she was bang on ! Cracking pastries too… you must try !! Joe

Absolutely love Woody’s Deli, the best place in Corsham to go for an authentic deli style lunch. We adore Carolines’s homemade sausages rolls and quiches and can highly recommend the coronation chicken and Reuben baguettes. Woody’s is perfect if it’s an Ottolenghi style salad you want, the ingredients are so fresh, there’s a real gastro taste to every salad. Best coffee in Corsham and once again Caroline’s homemade cakes are the ultimate treat, especially the Bakewell slice and carrot cake. The selection of cheese, antipasti and freshly baked bread is fab for lazy weekend lunches at home. It’s wonderful to see Woody’s thriving, we are very spoilt to have this quality deli in Corsham!

We were going to a BYO Banquet on Saturday and realised Friday afternoon that we'd done nothing apart from chilling a bottle of wine (essential prerequisite). Someone mentioned that Woody's, who have recently taken over a long-established deli, did picnic boxes, so we phoned them just as they were closing for the night. They could not have been more helpful; we went through a number of menu options, potential allergies, appetite (hungry bears), brown or white etc etc.. before coming up with our finely tuned selection. We picked up the picnic the next day at 3pm, filling two paper carrier bags with baguettes, quiche, salad boxes, cakes, strawberries and wooden knives, spoons, forks. We had a lovely evening with gorgeous food (we had to take some home there was so much) and would heartily recommend these guys to anyone who wants to turnkey a picnic / buffet with carefully chosen food and drink.

Am writing this review for Woody's Deli, visited Corsham as part of a coach trip, and wanted somewhere for a light bite to eat, coffee, cake, and was surprised that there were so few places in this town centre, and what there were, many were closed. Came across this little place, first and foremost it is a deli shop in very small premises, so can be forgiven that there were only three very small tables inside, and a couple outside. The young man and lady serving were very friendly, informative, and eager to please; ordered ham baguettes and latte, the baguettes were the best I've ever had in an eating place (they were happy to do totally plain as I do not like the salad and trimmings they came with on the menu), lovely crusty bread and plenty of good quality ham. The lattes tasted lovely, and were HOT- a rarity in coffee houses lately! Ordered cakes to take away, a Bakewell Slice and a Brownie, they were the best I've had in ages. Prices were reasonable for the area too. Well done to Woody's for being the highlight of the visit to this town!

We visit Corsham fairly often but had not eaten at Woody's Deli before. As it was mid afternoon we only had tea and cake which were excellent. The savoury dishes on display looked wonderful so maybe next visit will be at lunchtime.

An absolutely amazing deli and cafe - all the team were super friendly and helpful. Visited several times over the Easter weekend for teas, coffee, cake, ice cream and some of the best baguettes I’ve ever tasted! Made to feel very welcome - our trips to The Deli really made our weekend away feel special and very relaxed. Thank you 😀

We had two baguettes. The cheese and ham combo was really lovely. Sat outside in the sun but there are a couple of seats inside. Good choice of cheeses to buy along with quiches and sausage roll s. Sensibly priced.

An unplanned lunch time visit to Corsham meant we had to search for somewhere inviting to eat. The Deli at Corsham appeared most suitable for my Wife and I, so we ventured in. A warm welcome was followed by warm bagettes and hot lattes. We left with a feeling of contentment not often found after quickly served refreshments. We will be back!

Worst coffee ever. Had a decaf flat white and a cappuccino. Both were far too milky and tasteless and also left an unpleasant aftertaste.

A tiny little gem! Making the best of the Covid restrictions, well worth waiting in the queue. Due to the weather we were able to sit outside.

Not a particularly nice 'sitting space' inside so sat outside after ordering two lattes. Waiting a considerably long time to eventually discover we'd been forgotten. It happens, I appreciate. The two lattes eventually arrived in incredibly small cups. When asked why it was a cup since I was shown a mug, I was told it was because we asked for one shot. Not the best - and sadly only a 3 on the hygiene rating (which isn't displayed as I understand they are supposed to be?). Will not be going back.

Thought I'd spoil myself and eat out for lunch. I've eaten in here before, and decided on a hot lamb samosa with salad and bread with a coffee. The samosa was well flavoured but not spicy, the salad was a decent portion of leaves and a lovely piece of french stick, the coffee was good too. Both the shop and the eating area are tiny, the latter seems to be a bit of an after thought as you sit amongst some of the shops wares while eating. The place is full of tempting treats, some of which are a bit pricey - the food however was value for money.

We came to buy a specific cheese because once we saw they have it. It was I think the owner who was there and he told us that they do not have the cheese at this moment but then he said to wait a second and came back with the last one. The expiry date was close and he gave us a 50% discount. My wife and I were happy and the cheese was brilliant!

Gran aprobado!

Despite being the only customers, we were ignored for 10 minutes. Not even a 'we will get back to you'. Left without a purchase and found another deli, closer to home which was less expensive and had far better choice. Will not be back again.

This morning I had a baguette from the deli with a cup of tea, the tea was lovely but the baguette had a long hair inside obviously this happened when it was being made, surely the lady that prepared the baguette should be wearing a hair net, I myself own a restaurant in Luton which all staff are made too wear the correct clothing at all times and follow all food safety standards too the letter.

I have always used this deli/cafe on my visits to Corsham though this is the first time I have been since the new owner has taken over from Christophe, the food is still good but the service has gone downhill, the new owner spent the entire time while we were inside moaning about something or another and this did not create a pleasant atmosphere, I appreciate people do have bad days but this was beyond a general moan and whoever she was talking about I really do feel sorry for. So I am afraid to say not only have you lost myself as a customer but also my friends who have visited you in the past, surely not the best way to run a previously happy and good deli.

This may not be the place if you are a fast-food, grab and go type, but if you prefer to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee along with something sweet or savoury then this little spot may be for you.The outdoor tables offer a comfortable place to sit when the weather cooperates but you may be charmed, as we were, by the accommodations in the small room to the rear.

A small café area tagged onto the back of a shop but what a treat! The food in the shop smells delicious and looks amazing. Yes, the food takes a little while to prepare (this is not McDonalds so no fast food) but it is fantastic once it arrives and well worth the wait. There are also plenty of wonderful foods there you can buy to take away with you. Well worth a stop if you are passing!

I have attempted to get a baguette in here a couple of times, and to cut a long story short, they just cannot cope with more than a few people ordering baguettes at the same time. They have run out of certain ingredients, on more than one occasion, and I have even tried to go in slightly earlier to avoid this problem and still been disappointed. The food is lovely, when you finally get it, and if you manage to get what you originally ordered.

Lovely deli with some seats to eat in. We wanted a quick take-away lunch and were promptly and cheerfully served/advised and generally made to feel like valued customers. We had a baguette and a sandwich - that's all - but both were nom nom delicious being freshly made with locally sourced ingredients. There was an impressive range on offer and we were spoiled for choice. While our lunch was being made we had time to drool over the fresh produce on display and fantasise about how often we'd visit this deli if we lived in Corsham. Someone is running a good business here.

I came in a week ago with my visiting French friend in the hope of trying some new cheeses both English and French. the staff were beyond welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful. The lady who served us was kind and seemed interested in why my friend was visiting and allowed us to sample several cheeses in order to find ones we liked best. Their selection of cheeses is vast and their English cheddar with hops in is a mouthwatering must-buy delight!! Could not recommend this dainty little deli high enough. Both as a deli and a café 'the deli at Corsham' exceeds as both. If you ever need a hamper as a gift, want to try some new cheeses or chutneys or just want to pop in for a sandwich and a coffee, this place is where you need to go! Overall, Corsham is lucky to have such a wonderful deli.

Very good selection, excellent cheeses. They do sandwiches and there is a little cafe area and outdoor seating in fine weather. The only slight criticism is they are a trifle pricey and the deli counter selections are weighed with rather heavy waxed paper wrapping (probably the most expensive paper in the county) so a small piece of cheese or pate is even more expensive for net weight.

Absolutely dreadful! Advertised a la carte menu replaced with a 'bar' menu. Took the waiter 15 minutes to bring a menu and ask if we'd like drinks 40 minutes for food to arrive which was not hot. The pork belly my colleague had was wrapped in gooey fat not crackling, the pumpkin sauce was a teaspoon of orange 'something' and the seasonal veg was mashed potato and some peas. The chicken burger was deep fried and tasted of old fryer fat as did the 'tepid' skin in chips. Presentation of the burger was non existent and the two tiny leaves of lettuce were brown. This was fed back to the waiter when he finally returned to our table his response was he'd mention it to the Chef. The after dinner treat of sticky toffee pudding was solid and rubbery, not moist. The tiniest bit of ice cream and a token gesture at the sauce all was tepid. The dining room was cold and drafty. The decor tired and wall paper peeling off the ceiling and walls. Utterly awful experience with nobody interested in the overall shoddiness of the service and food. Really disappointing, especially as this is the closest hotel to work. A real missed opportunity for this Hotel and Restaurant.
