The best restaurants serving British food in St Peter and the Waterfront Plymouth South West

We went for dessert, but they also did savoury waffles. If I hadn’t already had lunch, I would have loved to try a savoury waffle too. The customer service was good and you could customise your waffle (my friends shared one and split the toppings 50/50). The waffle options were great!! All waffles could be done gluten and vegan. There were lots of gf/v toppings too. It’s not easy to make a good quality gf waffle, so it’s great that they managed to make one that’s a good quality. Usually, if you go to a dessert lounge, you feel sick afterwards. I had a full-sized waffle (gf) with vegan chocolate spread (like vegan Nutella) and chopped nuts. It was brilliant, not too sweet, but a nice treat (I haven’t had a waffle in a long time, but those used to be one of my fave desserts). If you like very sugary desserts, there are plenty of options, but if you just want a light treat, then they have plenty of options.

I’m not joking you, I have never in my entire life had a breakfast sandwich as good as the one here, food and drink wise this is probably my favourite place to go when I’m happy to have an unhealthy day, but even for a black coffee or something the vibes in here are excellent! Unfortunately it seems to be closed indefinitely, I really hope it’s not closing down because it would be a massive shame to put it lightly!

Went on a Wednesday which wasbtrust tge chef, the lady and gent there working were very attentive, not to the point of annoying as can happen. Food was lovely. Had a shock at the price of the bread and smoked butter we were offered upon being seated . Did think £8.60 was steap for the small amount we had. Overall bill for 3 courses, bread, 1 wine, bottle of sparkling water and 1 beer £209.95. Would go again.

A return visit with visiting family from Wales. Food great as usual, Jackie and Carl friendly as ever, always make you welcome. Family want to come back next time they are in Plymouth as they live in Wales.

The strawberry milkshake made with real strawberries hit the spot🍓👍 and the toasted cheese and onion was the best I've tasted in a while 👍💯

Don’t bother, service very slow and it wasn’t even busy, when we remind them we were still waiting we were told we haven’t even started your order thanks for reminding us! lunch food was very average. Wouldn’t bother again, shame as a lovely location.

Lovey cake and coffee served here, and you can sit in the sun garden out back.

I just bought one while walking around the Barbican. 5.10 lbs. It's hearty and delicious enough to be a light lunch. There are several tables inside and outside the shop, so you can enjoy snacks while taking a break. Cornish pasties are traditional pastries that originated in the Cornwall region of southwestern England. The main features are as follows. * Shape: Half-moon shaped, closed by tightly pinched ends. * Ingredients: The traditional Cornish pasty ingredients are beef (usually on sticks), potatoes, Swedish turnips (rutabaga), and onions. These ingredients are roughly chopped and seasoned with salt and pepper. * History: Cornish pasties were invented around the 18th century as a portable meal for Cornish miners. It is easy to hold and is designed so that you can eat with one hand while working. The thick skin also had good heat retention and served to protect the contents.

Very friendly staff, food was piping hot and was served very quickly. Tasted delicious too

We were staying at the hotel so thought we would try it out, have tried before when watching a show but couldn’t get a table. Was quite quiet when we came but the staff were very friendly and welcoming - the venue is nicely appointed with a relaxed atmosphere The menu is very well priced and the food was tasty, we had the steak and it was excellent! One of the best I have had in a long time Would recommend, will return

If you are not old enough to draw a pension you are really not welcome!! I have an acquired brain injury ( extremely short term memory loss) so I put my bag on my table to remember where I was sat and went up to order my food in which time the white haired karens moved my things and stole my table and when I told the staff I had already ordered my food and no other table was left they were as helpful as a chocolate tea pot helping people with disabilities???? And got no refund either ! Will not be going back!!!!! Disgusting attitude!!

Lovely meal, great staff although service was a little bit slow, could be because the kitchen services both takeaway and restaurant. Overall we had a very pleasant experience.

Hired the function room for a surprise party and it was fantastic! Great food and service, and good value for money. Staff were so friendly and helpful too :)
