Kawaffle in Plymouth

Very good for lunch in Plymouth if you’re in the area. Has both sweet and savoury options. The milkshakes are good for the summer as well. Great place to go with friends, family or anyone really.

We went for dessert, but they also did savoury waffles. If I hadn’t already had lunch, I would have loved to try a savoury waffle too. The customer service was good and you could customise your waffle (my friends shared one and split the toppings 50/50). The waffle options were great!! All waffles could be done gluten and vegan. There were lots of gf/v toppings too. It’s not easy to make a good quality gf waffle, so it’s great that they managed to make one that’s a good quality. Usually, if you go to a dessert lounge, you feel sick afterwards. I had a full-sized waffle (gf) with vegan chocolate spread (like vegan Nutella) and chopped nuts. It was brilliant, not too sweet, but a nice treat (I haven’t had a waffle in a long time, but those used to be one of my fave desserts). If you like very sugary desserts, there are plenty of options, but if you just want a light treat, then they have plenty of options.

Just wow!!! We went for lunch and had a savoury waffle followed by a sweet waffle. I love sweet things but I actually adored the savoury waffle. Had rocket, avocado, tomato and hummus and the waffle was so light and gorgeously herby. The sweet waffle was zillionaire - ice cream, cream, flake, shortbread and caramel. We were in heaven!! Very reasonably priced too. I can't wait to go back to Plymouth one day just for this place. It's a must-visit!!!!

Fabulous place to eat! Located inside Plymouth market. I love the savoury cheese waffles which are amazing! Sweet waffles are also delicious and different options each month. The staff are lovely. Very good value. Highly recommended.

Gazillionaires Shortbread waffle, eat like an excitable teenager for just a few minutes. Biscoff base, salted caramel ice cream, squirts cream, shortbread biscuit and a flake. Heaven in a waffle like and early Christmas present to my stomach. 😋😋😀😀

Located In the centre of the Plymouth market. Good little store. Staff really friendly and welcoming, this is a desert stall. Took my siblings here on a day out for a quick pick me up sweet treat, very welcoming. Not only sellls deserts but also international cereals which I think is a nice touch. They have a loyalty card, gaining a stamp with each purchase. Good reward system to keep returning customers.

Have been coming here for a few years now. One of the best places around for lunch! Always great service and very tasty!!!

They offer both sweet and savoury options and they were both delicious in their own way. I took my mum and my niece and they were equally impressed. Great portion sizes and great value for money. Another gem in the thriving food hub that Plymouth Pannier Market is becoming!

So accommodating for allergies! I have a gluten and dairy allergy and when motioned they offered to use a clean cooker for my waffle. I also had no reactions to the food! Their care for cross contamination is amazing! I recommend going here if you have allergies! Their customer service was also amazing, they explained everything I needed to know and were so helpful too! 10/10 will be coming back again!

Great food, both sweet and savoury are amazing! I can’t believe they are gluten free. Really good value for money, large portions and freshly cooked so they taste amazing! Portions are so large I took half home. My daughter loved it and now wants me to take her there after school every day!

Amazing food. Price is spot on. The amount of food and quality of it was astronomical. My son said infinite stars out of 5. The workers are lovely people.

One coeliac who is gluten and dairy free and one who is soya and nut free (pistachio/cashew) - we had absolutely fabulous waffles (both savoury and sweet (couldn't resist!!)). Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Definitely worth a visit.

My kids ( who both have coeliac disease) had their first EVER fresh waffles here thanks to the lovely staff who were able answer all my questions and filled me with confidence that it would be safe for us to eat there. Eating out with coeliac disease can be tricky and my son in particular is very sensitive to small traces of gluten. The bubble waffles are all gluten free (not that anyone would be able to tell!) and they are delicious. There are a few topping options that contain gluten but these are clearly marked. Savoury and sweet available, child sized options and lovely friendly staff, we will be back!!

Another lovely visit to see the wonderful people at Kawaffle! It's been awhile but we were still welcomed with a familiar greeting and top notch food. My boy was catered for and complimented on his new haircut. Great service as usual

Amazing waffles! We are both gluten free and all the options can be done gluten free. Savoury or sweet! We went sweet this time and will definitely come back in the very near future for savoury!

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been going for years now. Their sweet waffles are to die for and the savoury ones hit every spot! Can’t believe this place is gluten free too as I’m Celiac so I never usually get food this nice haha! Thank you

The owner is lovely, seating in the market is very comfortable. Quick service every time, my boyfriend and I go to kawaffle every chance we get and the food is always delicious!
