The best restaurants serving British food in South West

First time using this outlet reviews looked positive so decided to try as I am down from Edinburgh working definitely be using again and would recommend this place on what I've experienced this time

I think the chef needs to go back to catering college to learn how to make a fish pie. It was terrible, lumpy boiled potatoes on top of a couple of prawns and some salty salmon at a cost of £18.79! I can’t fault the waitresses who were lovely.

was soggy and cold had to reheat in microwave also disappointed with lack of communication early on I will be takin my custom elsewhere in future

Staff were friendly but sadly the food wasnt as expected. Jacket potato was fine but the Chipotle chilli beef lacked beef sadly - just juice and a few chilli beans... no meat at all. The chicken curry had a few pieces of chicken but sadly was similar to the chilli with hardly any meat in it. We informed the waitress who said she'd speak to the kitchen staff. When she delivered our sweets there was no feedback from the kitchen staff - we didnt hang around to find out any more, just left as a little disappointed. Will think twice before stopping there again !

Lovely stop off on a very windy and cold Valentine's Day. Purchased the apple cake, carrot cake (very generous portions I may add) which were delicious 😋 with a latte. Lovely staff and dog friendly, been before so happy it was open during winter period.

Stayed two nights and staff were all very friendly, had several meals and food was all very tasty. We will ddefinately be coming back handy location too very near tje town centre

We had a weekend away in our camper and ended up here served quickly reasonable prices great location with great three tiered garden. Bit off the beaten track though. I don’t know why it has a slew of bad reviews, we thought it was fine 👍s up from me

We long ago stopped going to the restaurant due to the poor system and service and usually go to other garden centres elsewhere. However today we thought we'd give the garden, and shop side of the business another go. As we walked through the indoor covered area, an older couple with a dog were in front of us. The man was not paying attention to the dog which urinated on the corner of a display. Halfway through this process the man looked back to see why the dog lead had gone tight. He jerked the lead hard and pulled the dog on wandering off to the outdoor area. The people behind us had an little girl todling away in front of them. They hadn't seenvthe dog urinate and might not have been able to stop their child from walking in or toughing it. Why doesn't Endsleigh do what a number of other garden centres have done and ban dogs. Dogs are lovely but some dog owners don't care about other people and in this case, possibly his dog too.

Have stayed here 3 times before.also have stayed in numerous wetherspoons hotels and recommended them to everyone.i have to say we were quite disappointed this time.the staff were very helpful but this hotel needs a serious makeover.our room although bed and very quite wasn't the best.air con not working although we had a heater which was sufficient heating the room.and in all fairness the lovely guy who checked us in told us about it and said if we needed another heater to let him know.towel heater didn't work and tv lost tv channels!!!.OK if you wanted to watch kids cctv.the shower took a age to drain.sad to say but next visit to Salisbury won't be staying here unless major refurbishment.

La comida pedida salió fría y solo 10 patatas realmente " 10 " devuelto la comida salió de nuevo a pesar de que el resto de nuestra fiesta había terminado entonces hay y todavía estaba frío y solo 11 patatas esta vez totalmente inaceptable

Would give a zero if I could. Absolutely rip off! £1.95 for a tiny pot of really bad tasting curry sauce, undercooked chips and a general bad attitude to customers, shocking! Don't waste your time, people!

A large restaurant separate from the garden centre Lunch menu ok but very limited choice.Resteraunt itself is gloomy with limited lighting

Me and wife had large breakfast. Wife's beans were solidified together, burnt on bottom. All 4 fried eggs were solid and rubbery. Bacon so under cooked I heard it oink. When we complained all we got was . " I will mention it to the chef" . Like that's gonna change anything. 1 star. Nuffield said.

¡Qué ambiente tan acogedor! El local se ha actualizado desde nuestra última visita; la eliminación de la zona de bares ha hecho una zona mucho más amplia y cómoda para las mesas (todavía sirven cerveza y vino! ! ) y el menú del almuerzo fue variado y bien recibido. Una comida fantástica, una ubicación encantadora a precios razonables.

What a lovely venue with great sea views.sunday carvery was top notch even for a late afternoon visit.Holly made us feel very welcome Highly recommended
