When we arrived we sat in the garden as we had a dog with us. Trying to work out how to get a ticket for the car park was very confusing. We had to go next door to the Premier Inn and they got us a QR code. We had to go and look for menus as there wasn't any in sight. After choosing what we wanted I headed inside to place the order for the family. I waited in a queue for around 6-7 minutes only for the member of staff behind the till tell me that this line was for drinks only. So I then had to line back up again in another line. They then told me it's a 45-50 minute wait for food. I placed the order and went back outside to join the family. Once I sat down I could smell something, well I knew what it was by the smell, dog droppings, right next to where we were sat. We then had to move tables as it stank as it was a boiling hot day, which meant I had to go back inside to tell them we had moved. We moved into the covered area and sat down, only to have to move once again as 2 people were sat at the table next to us with their feet on the seats smoking! Even though a big sign above them said NO SMOKING. When the food came it was alright, but nothing to shout about. We then had to go and get our own cutlery, napkins & sauces - what a faff! Then when we left I had to go back to the Premier Inn and ask how to 'log out' of the car park as it's free for 3 hours for customers. I tried to use the QR code but it said it has already been used, so that was annoying. I had to as their receptionist for help - she had to go into the pub and get a new QR code for me - let's hope I don't get a parking ticket due to their incompetence with regards to parking, tickets & QR codes

Popped in here for a bottle of water on a hot afternoon. Thought I had misheard when told it was 1 pound, that's a great price. The ladies were very chatty and explained they tried hard to keep their prices down. Although there were plenty of patrons sat outside it was quiet inside and I had a good chat/laugh with the two ladies. It seems a popular place.

We visited the pub as we were staying on the campsite close by. The Land Lord was friendly enough but the place looks like it has seen better days, plants on the window cills with cobwebs on and lots of plastic flowers! This place could do with a good spring clean inside and out particularly the ladies toilet which was black around the edges. We didn’t eat here, there were people eating but for a weekend it was empty, such a shame!

First time visit with family. Loved Mudeford quay itself. Beautiful place. Popped into cafe, initially just for couple of hot drinks but grandson decided he'd try a breakfast. So the drinks were fine but 25 minutes later and still waiting for breakfast to appear. Strange, especially as people who had been behind us in the queue seemed to have already been served theirs. Although I did notice another customer who had been directly in front of us still waiting on his too! Eventually he got his. So brought it to the attention of one of the girls who said she'd sort it out. Few seconds afterwards a waitress came wandering about the cafe with a single breakfast. We had given table number and name but however we able to claim said breakfast. My grandson got on with it because he was hungry and so I didn't realise that most of it was actually cold..hash brown was the only thing vaguely warm. We didn't have time or the inclination to wait for another breakfast. Had it have been for me it would have gone back! I accept mistakes happen but they must have known that it had been sat there in the kitchen and just didn't seem that bothered. Just not good enough..very disappointing.

The most unwelcoming/unfriendly establishment I have ever been to. I must have been to 100s. Myself, partner and 7 year old went in for lunch keen to part with our money. Lunch for our 7 year old was the same price as the adult meal. I was told there are other pubs you could go to which would welcome children. I will never, ever go here again.
