We visited the pub as we were staying on the campsite close by. The Land Lord was friendly enough but the place looks like it has seen better days, plants on the window cills with cobwebs on and lots of plastic flowers! This place could do with a good spring clean inside and out particularly the ladies toilet which was black around the edges. We didn’t eat here, there were people eating but for a weekend it was empty, such a shame!

The fish and fries were crispy. No queue and decent portions. Curry sauce was nice but gravy wasn't the best. It was watery and the server had to give it to us in a cup so it didn't "soak through the container." Kind of wish we picked a different sauce for our loaded fries which were otherwise pretty good.

£3.40 for a 330ml can of diet coke. Make up your own mind. Won't be going there again!

A lovely traditional pub. Booked ahead & were told the 2 of us could be 'fitted in' but most tables empty while we were there. Good service from young barmaid but landlord didn't acknowledge our arrival even with a look. Sunday roast was huge & hot & delicious, great choice of veg & biggest Yorkshire pud I've ever seen. Spoiled only by the copious gravy being beef flavour for both of us, would have been nicer to have had matching chicken gravy with mine. Very good value, and we came home with a generous doggy bag.

Good old fashioned English pub serving a great range of drinks and a menu to suit all tastes. Reasonably priced and excellent, friendly staff. Recommended

This pub in Minehead boasts a fantastic location and a spacious setting, complete with a children's play area. However, the play area wasn’t lit in the evening, making it difficult to use after dark. The food was decent but nothing exceptional, and the menu felt a bit limited. Overall, a pleasant spot, but there’s room for improvement in both the dining options and outdoor facilities.
