TripAdvisor really needs the option to give half stars! This visit was better than average, but I wouldn't say it was very good. We called here for food as it was the first place we saw after we decided we were hungry. All things covid-related were explained clearly and the service was quick and friendly. The menu itself is your usual pub grub, around the £9 - £15 mark for a main meal. Nothing really jumped out at me so I went with the festive menu and had the turkey. My partner had the smothered chicken and doubled up for £1.99 extra. There is a daytime menu where you can get two mains for £8.99 but this is extremely limited.A positive point is the kids menu, which offers good choice and three courses for £4.99. My turkey dinner had good and bad points. The portion size was good and there was plenty of veg. However, the gravy was very watery and there was no cranberry sauce. I also had to resort to a mixture of mayo and BBQ sauce to pep up the roast potatoes, which were just bland. For dessert we ordered the festive brownie and meringue kisses. My partner was disappointed to learn the Belgian waffle had sold out, as he had been looking forward to that, and called this 'criminal'! When it came to the bill, we were charged wrong as they didn't take the discount off for the two course festive menu. It was only 79p but it is more the principle that really annoys me. It is a decent family pub, but I can't see us returning after lockdown.

Anne was a true credit to the service industry, especially during such hard times of COVID restrictions. Polite, safe, and really made our visit special. If it wasn’t for her attentiveness however our visit would of been sub par, the manager on shift on Boxing Day was a different story, telling staff off in view of customers and yet making mistakes to our bill herself ( corrected by Anne later) the food was average the puddings were lush though!

Well what can I say, the staff are so friendly, we had Hannah as our hostess, she is absolutely amazing, she made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back x

Jodie was a lovely waitress. She was accommodating. Food was a reasonable price and tasted good. And was served in good time. They managed to squeeze us in despite ringing last minute! Thanks

Just went to brewers fayre in Hayle with my brother, sister in law and kids. As there were 7 of us we knew we would be sitting separately but we hoped it would have been close together like the next table! When we got there we asked the lady if this was ok. She refused and sat us at opposite ends of the restaurant! I asked her what the theory behind this was and she replied well we'd get a £5000 fine! To which I replied yes if we were sat on the same table but not 2 metres apart at separate tables. She refused again! In the end we were sat in an area where another family of 6 were closer to us than my brother which makes absolutely no sense!! We spoke to 2 other tables that had the same problem were sat seperatley from their family members! We were annoyed to say the least but we were so hungry we agreed and sat down in seperate rooms! We ordered! The drinks took ages to come and when the food eventually came it was disgusting and I couldn't eat my roast! I was texting my brother and he said that he ordered a sloppy Joe burger that came and it was just a burger no sloppy Joe nothing else and they ordered more roast potatoes that never came, me and my sister in law didn't have cauliflour cheese on our roasts even though it says on the menu that it comes with it and she also had no carrot mash! If I wasn't tired and slightly teasy I would have complained but I chose not to as I would have made a scene and one of the young servers was actually really lovely so didn't want to be mad with her! All I wanted was to have a nice family meal not to pay almost £40 for the worst food and to be sat far away from my family!! Needless to say we we're pretty pissed off! I will never return to this restaurant ever again! What an absolute disgrace!

Visited on Tuesday for dinner as was staying nearby for work. Hadn't booked but was greeted by a very friendly Jodie who quickly found us a table and explained the ordering process (via the app) and the covid restrictions in place. Ordering was easy, food was delivered quickly despite them being quite busy and service from all was 5*! Ultimate BBQ platter was delicious! Only negative point was couldn't get a table the following night but that's my fault for not booking. Thanks again to Jodie for the great service!!

This place have really upped their game. We arrived for a quick lunch on a wet and windy Wednesday and we were not expecting much, owing to previous experiences. However, the food was actually delicious and presented beautifully! Our one and only gripe was that there was no English mustard.

Wow! That’s basically all I can say! The meals we chose were definitely great choices, honestly they were fantastic! Everything was brought out and presented well, and nothing was too much trouble. Fran, Grace and a young lad (think I heard someone say his name was Harry)?? Did amazing! Credit to you all. Your general manager should be very proud of all of you! Great job!

Wanted to go out to eat with friends, and I’ve heard some lovely things about brewers fayre, we hadn’t booked but the manager short blond hair, was very welcoming and managed to get us a table, she went through the steps about covid and the one way system. Sat down and ordered and was very happy with the meals. Our waitress Taylor was so friendly. kind and very welcoming also. Dessert were lovely thank you.

Came in on the 22nd for dinner with my wife and we were very happy with the service we received, Taylor was amazing throughout the whole evening I really couldn’t fault her. The food was amazing I enjoyed my chicken and rib combo, It’s seemed fairly busy but the staff were amazing. Just want to say thank you to the brewers fayre staff.

Came in last week for a meal with a few friends and had a great time! Our lovely server Grace, was very helpful, kind and friendly! Our food came out in good time, and everything was amazing! The desserts were to die for! Highly recommended this place to anyone! The manager should be very proud to have such a helpful and kind waitress in their team.

We were staying in the premier next door and all the staff in Loggans moor for breakfast and evening meals were exceptional the quality and service were just so fantastic and comforting in the difficult times that we are all having Keep up the great work we can’t single people out as you all as good as each other well done Andy and Clare Mockridge

Absolutely lovely little pub, friendly and even with everything going on so kind and took the time to talk to the children. They’ve put a one way system in place, lots of tables not used so they can do social distance. This is only the 2nd time I’ve been out with the pandemic and felt very relaxed with the things they have in place. Food was ok too

Came here for a meal today at 12pm and I was very happy with the service I was provided. Manager who sat us think she was called fran was very helpful, showed us the covid procedure and one way system. Couldn’t fault her, my meal was really nice and would definitely come back. Lady called Taylor was very helpful and polite.

Covid restrictions explained very well on entry , well laid out and clean restaurant . Staff were quick to take initial order and food was quick to come . Our table was booked at 8.15 by the time we got to the table and chose our meals it was 8.30 and we were informed the kitchen shut at 8.30 so had to order all the courses in one go !!!! Starters were tasty and quick to the table , mains followed minutes later , chicken was burnt on one side and the burger and hot dog buns were rock hard .Table service was ok when it appeared sorry but i wouldn't recommend this and wouldn't revisit again

Just been to brewers fayre had a lovely time with family until a couple came in and got shown to a seat which was under the air con which was cold , therefore the gentleman asked the manager to be seated elsewhere which anyone would of requested as it was freezing then suddenly the manager told the customer he was being aggressive??? He didn’t raise his voice .. I don’t know how she is a manager? Clearly no people skills . She must be having a bad day .. apart from that meal was good waitress was nice and polite..

Staff were amazing, food.. well I couldn’t fault it! Service was brilliant, staff did all they could to make sure we were okay and everything was as it should be. General manager should be very proud of their staff! :)

I get that we are in the middle of extraordinary times and there are restrictions on most things but serving a meal is pretty straight forward. Sadly this was not the case, staff are simply not attentive, the presentation of the food was dire and unappealing.We bought a voucher and so had the displeasure of dining twice and breakfast twice, wish I never bothered. Staff need training and an injection of enthusiasm.

Felt sorry for staff as they clearly needed more. Waited a while for food which is fine, but an hour after before we could order dessert. We gave up waiting. If you got few hours your be fine

On holiday my husband and I stayed at the Loggans Moor Premier Inn.We had our breakfasts and 2 eveningmeals at the Brewers Fayre next door. The restaurant staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. A big thankyou to Jodie for a very friendly greeting on arrival. Also Tracy the General Manager who was very busy ensuring everything was running smoothly. Thanks to the Kitchen team also who were very busy. Will return again.

Visited for breakfast on way to the Isles of Scilly and again on way home. On both occasions the food was excellent - plentiful, well presented and nicely cooked. Due to Covid restrictions we were waitress served. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and we felt quite safe.

First time my grandparents being out for a meal since COVID, and it was an excellent service by Anne from the hayle restaurant, she explained everything of how it worked, the table service since COVID has changed abs made it welcoming even with the rules, and made us all very welcome, food was excellent and she was an amazing host/ waitress for the evening, will definitely be going back again.

Came in for food yesterday with my family and was surprised at how organised everything was. Food was okay, staff helpful. However we were surprised to see no staff wearing masks, most restaurants have staff wear them. Overall a good trip out for food.

Sam our waitress was very lovely. We had a full breakfast and it was very filling. Everything was very tasty and well laid out due to covid. There was screens between tables and plenty of space so we felt very safe.We left with full bellys to keep us going for the rest of the dayThank you Sam

It’s not difficult at 0745 in the morning with 4 tables occupied to take an order for breakfast and not lose the ticket.

Had breakfast on 7 days and whilst it was adequate for the cost, there is less choice around, be prepared for a long wait if it's a bit busy as they have a habit of losing orders. Tables are wiped after use but not the chairs, saw on a couple of occasions where people sneezed then got up and touched the chairs, tables and coffee machine and nothing was cleaned. The staff are energetic and helpful, but none wear PPE and there is no mention of if the staff have temp checks before work, even saw one staff member in civvies having breakfast with their children and going into the kitchen and behind the bar to serve themselves, not at all hygienic.

I went here for a meal with my boyfriend. The staff here where friendly and welcoming. The food we had was really tasty. I would come back here to visit again and would recommend it to my friends and family

We loved coming here good atmosphere however we always struggled to book, and during COVID it is well laid out and explained. However the food is just awful, just about edible. The price is absolutely unreal and was thank ful we could drive to find somewhere else. Staff however absolute gems and the food let’s them down so much- chefs up your game or you will be out of a job! Prices need looking at desperately guys!

Plenty of parking, food OK not that great. Service slow. They got our starters wrong, which they did correct. They three girls that was on did seem to interested no one checked if everything was OK. We had to ask for our bill some tables waited half an hour for bill. They wasn't that busy. Would I come here again probly not.

Went in for a drink at 9.30pm barman was very unhelpful sighed because we wanted a drink and didn’t really want to do it. No people skills. Perhaps needs training on customer service. Doesn’t give the pub a good vibe

An amazing restaurant.... went here for a meal on bank holiday monday very busy but all the waitresses were very good. We never waited for anything. Although we are dealing with covid at the moment i have to say the restaurant is very clean and they were cleaning everything.would definatly recommend.

The waitress that took our order, though rushed off her feet, named ANN made an incredibly fresh introduction and apologised very much about the wait shame that the manager had no manners and seemed to not have any time or effort for giving good customer service

Went for a meal while on holiday in August during the 50% off deal. Despite being very busy the service was second to none. Our server Ann was incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring our orders were correct and kept checking in on us throughout the evening. She was extremely busy and had lots of tables to serve but was still incredibly friendly and happy to serve us. The wait time on food wasnt too long considering how busy they were. The food was of good quality and the cook on my steak was better than i was expecting. All in all a lovely evening in a busy but friendly atmosphere.

Visited on 27th August having pre-booked a table. Was shown to our table and told it is table service only and that someone will be with us shortly. All staff kept walking past our table without acknowledging us. After waiting around 25 minutes I stood up and went to find someone to take our order. Someone then came over and informed us they had no beer at all. No apology for the wait, and we then find this is a pub with no beer! Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get that far. We went and found somewhere else to eat instead and I would advise anyone reading this to do the same!

The service was fantastic.Ann and the team were all so thorough with social distancing and ensuring full ppe was worn when bringing our meals over.I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.The staff in the kitchen also deliver a high quality service

We booked a family breakfast for 10 (in two separate bubbles) on Sunday 9th August, I would just like to say the staff worked so hard under current circumstances to keep the place clean and sanitised, and keeping us fed all at the same time, it wasn’t the usual all you can eat help yourself, but we found the whole experience fantastic, and we ate exactly what we wanted, brought to the table and you could order as much as you like, we got talking to a member of staff who was cleaning, she told us that it was a quiet period as it becomes manic on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, when people want to get something for nothing (eat out to help out) I just want to say if for a quiet period she works that hard, then I take my hat off to her and all the rest of the staff when things get tougher. Logan’s moor your staff are a credit to your chain. Thanks for a fabulous start to our holiday in Cornwall.

we prebooked for 10 our table of 4 was no where near our family of 6 we asked for steak medium rare came out welldone..kids meal looked over cooked none of our meals were nice really the lady that showed us to the table had no service manners our waitress was lovely tho

Our visit to Brewers Fayre this evening was impeccable! From entering the restaurant, it is very clear they’re taking every precaution possible in what can only be described as ‘difficult’ times. The one way system is very clear and easy to follow which made the visit very comfortable. We were shown to our table by a lovely lady who explained how everything worked and were later approached by our waiter for the evening, a lovely young gentleman named Caleb. He really did make our evening even better than we could have hoped for. You could see how hard he was working to make sure that every customer received a high level of service and that everything was delivered swiftly. Whilst dealing with some difficult customers, he remained completely professional and provided them with everything they requested, which was very commendable indeed! I would come back again just for the service provided by himself alone. The food was also very nice and the wait was not very long either, which was a bonus considering how busy they were. All in all, it was a lovely celebratory meal and I would definitely come back again!

The set up in this pub is great with the option to order and pay online (we enjoyed being the ginuea pigs!) A one way system is in place with sanitiser station in entry. Everything is clearly explained. The staff were all absolutely lovely, from the man who I assume was the duty manager to Wendy the waitress who went out of her way to give us some tips about the local area. The food menu was fairly limited as you'd expect during these current times but what we had was very nice. The staff definitely made our visit. Thank you.

Visited for a family meal and the service was brilliant. The COVID rules were simple to follow, everything explained clearly upon arrival and distancing well maintained. The food was tasty and went down well! Our server Sam was polite and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Lunch today. Booked online. Got caught in traffic so called to advise. Very friendly person said no problem and made our booking a little later.Met at the desk by the door and was seated promptly. Rules explained nicely (virus rules) and the area felt clean and the staff were treating things seriously which was good to see.All orders taken at the table and all food and drink brought to you.Food was excellent and service was very good.Very happy with everything and have booked again for next week

We received fantastic service from Anne on our recent visit to the restaurant. She was so helpful and also entertained the children. Thank you also to the other lady that served us, whom we did not get the name of.

We have been coming here for many years and have seen the restaurant flutter up and down but under the current management I must say it’s the best it has ever been. Especially under the current situation. The two ladies that appear to be running it are absolutely brilliant. And make it a wonderful place to want to eat.

We have visited this Brewers Fayre while staying for few nights in hotel next door. Staff are amazing and very kind. Wendy and Jodie (Jackie;)) have been looking after us during breakfasts and dinners and they where fantastic. Full of humor, local knowledge and very nice to talk to. we haven't been out for food since lockdown and tonight we visited with family. Lovely meal, very organised and ann was very accommodating to suit all our needs. Constant runs to the bar, kind and friendly service.

The food was nice but the staff don't know what they're doing, keep making mistakes, it wasn't that busy yet they seemed so disorganised, our waitress asked someone if they wanted their bill and they had only had their starter then she gave the table next to us our bill there were 4 of them and only 2 of us so they had a bargain 2 course meal and drinks

Excellent breakfast. Very organised and felt very safe. Sam and Wayne were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Not worth your money. Nicer places to eat. Went in for a family meal when food came before the drinks did. Waited forever for service and took forever to get a refill on a drink. High chairs were rank looked like they haven’t been cleaned for months, all sticky etc. Seemed like a lot of staff but hard to get someone to take your order. Not a place for children. Size portions are terrible, might as well of had a kids meal instead of an adults meal. All this even though the restaurant basically empty.

We were a little worried about going out for food, but we were absolutely blown away and very impressed with Loggans Moor. The manager, Olivia, was so kind and helped us feel very reassured that all staff were taking and following the necessary precautions. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was lovely. Well done team Loggans, and especially well done Olivia, a great manager.

We returned to one of our favourite places today. Massive changes as we expected with the Covid-19 situation. Fran and the team worked tirelessly while we were there, talking to the customers and informing them of the changes. The restaurant has done pretty much everything required to ensure public safety. We completely appreciate that people have possibly lost confidence in eating out, but fear that we could end up losing a great restaurant if people choose to stay away. Please support this place, they are trying hard to get back to the new normal and need locals and tourists more than ever! Thank you to ALL the staff for the great food, service and hospitality. X

So happy to be back post Covid lockdown! Great welcome from the staff. Lovely to see everyone prepared for post-covid 19 re-opening measures.

Stayed in Travel Lodge on business for two days, used Brewers Fayre on arrival for breakfast and for the following two mornings at 6.30 am. Staff were excellent, offered porridge by one lady on arrival and shown to table. All cooked food was hot and good and large choice of cereals etc. Coffee machine easy to use, toaster easy to use. Nice and clean, no sticky table Very pleased all three mornings.

The kids had a great time playing in the soft play area today, excellent bar service from our server Jodie, lots of smiley and chatty staff around

Came for an evening meal and despite it being busy, the staff was excellent, especially one of the managers, Olivia, made sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly. The food arrived within 25 mins and was hot and tasted great, dessert was amazing too! Great atmosphere, would recommend !

Our little visit on a Sunday after football was made much better this week as an old friendly face was back! Olivia, who has been away at table table served us today and it was like the old days! Missed her service and knowledge and she remembers us too which to me is great customer service! Just what we want at our local.

Popped in for a quick lunch while the kids played in the play area! We was served by Olivia who was really pleasant and helpful! The other team members sorry didn’t get their names was also really great

Lovely to see Olivia back here. I can already see improvements. Staff were friendly and organised. Food came out within 10 mins and was very nice. I will be coming more often now I know Olivia is back here.

First,we would like to praise the staff, all of whom were very friendly, happy and polite...Unfortunately the food did not match... This is the First time I have ever had mushy peas with a cracked crust on top... The Haddock Batter was soggy, plus it had skin on. The chips were like cardboard. We would not choose to eat here again. We have stayed at many Premier Inns and eaten at various Brewers Fayres and been quite happy ,unfortunately our experience here was not good.

Just wanted light snack so we ordered soup. No staff to be seen at bar or food counter, waited 5 mins for attention.Served watery flavourless soup that was thinner than cup a soup. All i can think is they were low on soup and watered it down to stretch to serve 3 of us. I wanted to complain but no staff to be seen again. £3.19 for bowl of coloured water which i left without eating. Maybe the staff hid for a reason.

Excellent value if you eat before 6:00 as two meals cost less than £9. The food is good pub grub. Caesar salad and smothered chicken both being good.

I thought I wouldn't write a review based on my first visit as I like to think that it might just be a bad evening for staff or something like that.I find I have to now write a short review after my second visit in which the service and attitude to guests had not improved.I think due to this site being the only restaurant to service both Premier Inn and Travelodge the business is there for them to take. This complacency shows in the level of customer service I found.The food is not up to much,in my opinion. I ordered a mixed grill on my first visit, mediocre and tasting of nothing- sorry chef! I wasn't going to review the food until my last visit.Until I was asked to queue around the corner for drinks orders, which I did, but then the young lady served newly arrived guests at the bar I had been directed away from. I write honest and fair reviews I believe will improve the guest experience. I work in hospitality so know how things work but honestly things need to be looked at here.Not so good team!!

Family outing and arrived at exactly the wrong time , if going on a Sunday leave it a bit later in the afternoon as the place was very busy.Daughter and grand kids in tow. Kids loved the soft play area and free refills for soft drinks. Pretty standard food but well presented and tasty plenty of specials on and a varied menu.Very much a family venue and enjoyable when with the actual family. Good parking and clean toilets. Once again the staff were a bit overwhelmed at the start of the day but coped well so no complaints.

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and prebooked the meal deal for both nights.

Food was brilliant for the price all clean and tidy. Would of got a 5* if the older lady behind the till was happy. She looked unhappy and felt a bit like it was a effort to serve us.

Came here for evening meal as staying at premier inn. Starter was good, but before our plates taken away our mains arrived. The girl serving looked thoroughly confused as our table was full with empty plates. Throughout our starter or main, no one asked how the food was and whether it was satisfactory, even when we were given our mains, the name of the dish was given and that was it.

Meal and staff alright on first night. Second night Second night put in kids/family area. Very noisy Asked to be moved. Told there was no room but half the tables were empty. Got up and left

I stayed 2 nights at the nearby Premier Inn at Hayle and booked the meal deal here. The evening meal tables were booked by the Premier Inn on my arrival and this was all sorted with Loggans Moor.

Couldn't find anyone that knew what they were doing, meals were mixed up, dessert didn't turn up, totally unorganised, desperately needs a manager. A large number of people from the same company stayed there over the last week, all shared the same view, we all laughed about it, but we won't be staying there again, a shame because we all really like the Premier Inn but food is important and Brewers Fayre is attached to the Premier Inn, quick accurate service is important especially when covering a project which is running 24/7. Breakfast is also hit or miss whether it is hot or cold, disappointed is an understatement. Premier Inn needs to detach themselves from Brewers Fayre to prevent the level of service being diluted.

I go every to the soft play with my daughter, it’s great fun and she loves it. Sarah who works in there is very friendly and she is definitely the face of it, not the same when she’s not there. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a table booked for 13 for my nephews birthday. Lovely food, great service, big thanks to Wendy shes always helpful and friendly.

Fantastic service, very impressed as nothing was too much trouble, staff went above and beyond especially Jack and Ann. Very impressed with the whole place. Great team!

First impressions were good, Clean establishment with a good atmosphere. We were greeted by Wayne who promptly seated us. The Food was good, Wayne checked on the table a couple of times during our visit, very friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant visit, Good Food, Friendly Staff and good value for money

Stayed with some colleagues in the Premier Inn for work and Jodie served us for the duration. Nothing was too much trouble and she was good fun. Service with a smile makes working away much better :)

Stayed at the premier inn for work during the week and came back with my family at the weekend. Always service with a smile from Jacques behind the bar. Very friendly man, a credit to the team. Had to return with my family after staying for the week, as good quality food and nothing too much trouble. We have a caravan pitched down the road so will definitely be returning again.

Went for a meal at brewers yesterday evening, food was perfect and a special thanks to sacha on the bar who dealt very well seeing as how busy it was! Also Jodie and holly who served us. Overall would definitely go back.

Came with my family to go to the play zone was greeted by Ann who was kind and helpful. Went to order food and Samantha Curnow was helpful and very pleasent.

Couldnt be happier with the service that was provided by Jacques. Absolutely made our visit. Will definitely come again. The food was amazing but the customer service we experienced was second to none.

I came in today to visit the play zone. I was greeted by a lovely lady in the play zone called Ann. She is so friendly and really made me and the children feel welcome.
