Very dissatisfied, ordered 3 meals, waited 25mins for what was essentially just a burger as the rest was readily available. No apologies offered rven though it seemed the staff were aware. Finally sit to eat, and what a disappointment. Thin fish that was greasy and smelt like beef dripping.. how?! The chips were very dry and not enjoyable. The burger that was waited on was also dry. Considering the price that is charged is above the average you would expect something good but that's not the case. This was in the evening as well and not as busy as I have seen it, so pretty sure that's not the cause.

Honestly awful. Place looks dated and need of modernising. Food is lacklustre at best and way overpriced for what you get. Described as 'fresh' by the owner but its obviously frozen and heated up. London prices for cheap, barely/unedible food Will not be returning.

GBK used to be my favourite place to eat out, ever since I first tried it maybe 12 years ago. And I have been coming ever since. I was so disappointed when I visited. Not for the wait times or the staff. Both were excellent. However the food has changed so much. And I haven't eaten at GBK only for a few months. They have taken rocketman off the menu (to my boyfriends displeasure) and the chocolate milkshakes taste terrible!!! All with horrible syrup and not how they used to be at all. Portions are a lot smaller as well, including the skinny fries. Really upset because it used to be my go to all the time :(

Another fantastic meal at Ocean. Highly recommend the gluten free pizza, it was delicious! The service was fantastic; our server was very friendly and smiled lots, which showed how she enjoyed her job. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ve been to Ocean many times, and we keep coming back as it’s brilliant.

2 night stay that was faultless from start to finish. Stunning location, amazing room, warm welcome and nothing too much trouble. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff work so hard to ensure your stay is made special and your furry friends enjoy it too! Food superb, great service, and little added extras are charming. A little bit of relaxing luxury away from it all in a lively, friendly atmosphere and quiet peaceful location! The Talbot has it all in spadefuls!! A very special find that we shall continue to enjoy over the years!!

The farm shop is lovely although prices are eye watering so do didn’t buy anything. We did eat in the restaurant section. Unfortunately I felt it was very overpriced, but also our beetroot burger was very salty, I don’t know if it was the burger itself or the slaw on the bottom, I like salt but this was extremely salty. Portions are small and overpriced. I don’t mind it being serviced in a paper bag like a take away but don’t price as if it was a restaurant. The place itself is lovely and the staff but sadly we will not be returning due to the prices.

As somewhere which served food on a Sunday evening this was pretty much our only choice in Parkend. A shame it is so poor. Prior to going emails requesting a booking went ignored. A phone call secured a booking but, on arrival, no booking.... not a great start, but it was quiet so we got in. I wish they had turned us away. Our starters were nice but required zero skill in the kitchen to be so. The mains were a different matter. Only a Sunday roast was available, which ought to have been fine. it was not. The meats were like leather, the veg soggy, the roast veg was chewy rather than crispy, the Yorkshire pud and roast spuds gave the strong impression of coming out of a frozen packet and the stuffing could have been used to break windows etc. Very poor indeed. The worst Sunday roast ever? It's a contender..... If a chef works here, you could have fooled me! Will not go here again.

Popped in today on the off chance that food was still being served. It was and they took orders until 14.30. Lovely food enjoyed by all. Sirloin steak perfect and Cumberland sausage was delicious and that was said by 2 very fussy eaters! Better than food we were served at a four star resort not a 10 minute drive away. Thank you.

The recent refurbishment was needed and has smartened the Wagon up. The staff were pleasant, and working hard. The food was good value for money, and there was a good portion on the plate. My "classic mixed grill" was well cooked....but the various pieces of a rump steak, small gammon steak, pork sausage and a grilled half chicken fillet all tasted the same! It was if it had been cooked in the same oil on the same hotplate. If I had my eyes closed I would have had no idea what I was eating! Apart from that rather major issue, I enjoyed the Wagon. I and my colleague were delighted that this pub has carpet(!), so we were able to hear ourselves speak - so many pubs and restaurants these days have solid floors and brick walls, with nothing to absorb the cacophony of noise from customers talking, mobile phones on speakerphone, and what seems to be the increasing level of music played by the pub or restaurant itself. Some of us want to actually talk to our fellow diners without having to shout, so well done the Wagon for having carpet to deaden the noise!
