Lovely pub, very friendly and accommodating

We had a lovely weekend stay at the Brookfield hotel. We had a function on the Saturday night which was a 7 course meal and I have to say I was blown away with the service and the reassurance of my gluten free options, I could literally have exactly the same dishes as everyone else with just a couple of tweaks I couldn’t believe it! A lovely gentleman served me who I think was a manager (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) which made me feel so looked after as it can be daunting eating out somewhere new! All staff were helpful and made the evening run smoothly it was very professional! The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed, the only thing I would say is more plug sockets but that’s not the end of the world! Also it was a bit expensive for room service as a sausage and bacon sandwich ended up being £13.45 including tray service but again with inflation maybe that’s why it was that much! Apart from that there was plenty of parking at a small charge and the hotel was easy to get around. Thank you for looking after us, it was the best meal I’ve had as a coeliac plus the most I’ve ever been able to eat!

I use Boswells frequently. It's definately my cafe of choice in Havant. Wide selection of food, staff are really accomodating, friendly and polite, and it's always clean.

A birthday treat for my wife, starting with champagne and then the yummy tasting menu. The service and ambience was perfect and the food divine 👌✨

Attended the Hayling Hotrods at The Beach last night and we planned to have fish and chips. Quite a large order 8 people and a couple of dogs. They were kind enough to let us take the dogs into the funfair area seating. Ordering was easy and we didn't wait too long. Absolutely cracking fish and chips. Curry sauce was nice and the sausage definitely very tasty. Overall a lovely visit and we highly recommend 👌 😊

10/10 all round. A great pub to pop into for a quick drink or to while away the evening with a few more drinks. Food and service both faultless! Kudos to the team here front and back of house, the hard work put into this place shines through in the quality experience received.

First time visit, most impressed with a great atmosphere

Awful. The staff were incredibly rude and incompetent, and the food was expensive for the poor quality and wait time of half an hour despite no one else being there! Also, when I finally got my food, the boy serving me forgot half of my order, and was incredibly rude about it when I complained. Sort it out.

it was very good and i enjoyed it it was a good day out and the meal was very good. The sausage cheese bean slice was excellent. the staff are very polite and helpful.

Came to emsworth for the day on bank holiday, struggled to find somewhere to eat and came across the ship inn. Ordered no problem and food was great and well priced. I must say the cottage pie was brilliant, just like mummy used to make! Everyone left happy!

Really relaxed atmosphere and all the locals are very friendly. We attended a wake at The Spotted Cow and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful they couldn't do enough for you. Deffinatly will be visiting again when we visit again from North Wales

Waited over 2 hours for my food rang the restaurant guy on the phone didn’t even care about my order and said nothing he can do about it shambles
