The best restaurants serving British food in Havant South East

Popped in a few times for breakfast, drinks and ice creams. Perfectly situated for stopping off on walks up and down the beach, reasonably priced, and a friendly welcoming service. Would recommend!

Such a lovely little pub, been a couple times now and both times the food had been phenomenal and it’s only walking distance from our house, staff are lovely and it’s a chilled atmosphere plus they’re dog friendly which is a plus knowing I can take my pup along with me will definitely be a regular

The staff are all so lovely and they go above and beyond . im some one who is very fussy and nothing is ever too much for them .

Lovely cafe in Emsworth. Had a delicious smoked salmon and prawn salad and came back later for tea and cake. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Too much of a scramble to take food from buffet as there were no clear ways to queue. Food was of good standard with quite wide choice of dishes.

£10 large cod nearly all batter for second time in 2 weeks

My takeaway haddock and chips for two was awful: soggy and tasteless batter, with chips that, however plentiful, were insufficiently hot and crisp. I shan't go to The Coastguard again and I advise others to do likewise.

A great little spot for a very good cup of coffee and a snack. Has a little group of picnic tables. The price for the coffee is reasonable.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was uninviting. We were told to come in but immediately informed we had “only 20 minutes.” We had to ask for menus, and before we were even given a chance to review them, we were asked what we wanted. As we were still trying to enjoy our drink, we were pressed to make a payment because they were closing. What made it worse was that, despite other guests still sitting comfortably after their afternoon tea, we were told, “We are closed now—go and take your drink outside.” When I challenged a team member about the way we were being treated, the response was indifferent—they were only concerned about being paid. I have never been made to feel so unwelcome and worthless as a customer. This is shameful practice and speaks volumes about the lack of care or value placed on customer experience. Clearly, providing a warm and respectful service is not part of your mission statement

Rubbish,funniest omelette I've ever seen, chips way over cooked and £2.80 for a small glass of flat Pepsi, they need to go to other poppins to see how it's done,never again

Although I live just a short distance from this pub, I'd never been inside. My friend and I booked aa table for lunch; there was a steady stream of diners arriving, mostly regulars I'd say. We both had scampi and chips, then I had ice cream with chocolate sauce and hundreds and thousands (aka 'sprinkles'). My friend had the ginger pudding and ice cream, which she said was very good. A few people had dogs with them, but they weren't a problem. The lady serving us was friendly and efficient and even apologised for the slight delay in taking our order. The loos were clean and airy. I thought it was very good value for money; in short, I liked it very much

No food delivered only sent drink

An absolute gem of a place-great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was outstanding! Full of flavour and high quality food, highly recommend.
