Just had a wonderful lunch with my parents. I had scallops, mackerel and ice cream, all of which were delicious. The scallops and mackerel were the best I have ever had and that includes restaurants I have been to in France. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and can’t wait to go again.

Went for Breakfast and was very satisfied, plenty of options on the menu, small breakfast is really good, very well cooked, nice and hot, my only minor complaint, the coffee could have been hotter. You can tell from the photo's on social media of the food served here, clearly a talented chef and team, will be going back for lunch soon. For anyone who does not know Emsworth, it's a very pretty town, by the water which feels like you're on holiday, we don't live too far away and always love coming here. I had no idea this pub did such good food though and the staff are great too!

Stayed here in their recently refurbed rooms. They had a heating problem (not their fault) but went out of the way to put it right which was much appreciated. The food was absolutely outstanding. I won’t go into detail about every dish, but I can confidently say it was the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had in a pub. To top it off, the sticky toffee pudding with custard was utterly divine. Fabulous food paired with excellent service – highly recommended!

Stunning pub, really nice feel and atmosphere. Busy but not overcrowded and the table service really kept the flow. Food was incredible, possibly the best fish pie I've ever had. Service was slower than it should have been. Ordered a Guinness so didn't expect a quick serve but I did see it half poured and waiting on the bar for around 10 mins to be finished off whilst the two team members were chatting. Pipes could possibly do with a clean as well but overall not a terrible Guinness and at least they have some stocked!!

We had the most wonderful meal last night at the Blue Bell. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy—a perfect spot to catch up with my mum. I started with the scallops, and they were amazing as usual. The scallops were perfectly seared and tender, paired with chorizo and fresh salad that really let the quality of the seafood shine. My mum’s starter was equally delicious. For the main course, I opted for the prawns. If you haven't been to the Blue Bell before you just have to try them, the sauce they are cooked in is incredible. My mum enjoyed a classic burger. It was cooked just right, with all the classic trimmings done to perfection. The Blue Bell have always valued quality ingredients and attention to detail. The service was as lovely as the food—attentive, friendly, and truly warm. The Blue Bell has that authentic, local touch and that is why I go back time and time again. Highly recommended!

Needless to say. Worse than ever experience! We did not care that the seats were covered in ductape until we received our orders, which were overpriced and unfortunately inedible... we ordered the pate as starters (must have been from last century rotting) followed by the rubber scallops, unwashed salad that tasted soggy and old, camambert that was meant to be grilled but was only microwaved, burger with raw bunn and overcooked chewybeef. It was so underwhelming, but the staff was not striked by our comment, they tried their best to smile through it! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

A small pub that gets busy with builders from about 4pm onwards, making it a tight squeeze getting to the bar, where they all sit. Fair price for drinks especially during happy hour. Most table's are reserved for diner's from about 7pm. So be prepared to give up the table from that time onwards.

Whilst the standard of food and ambience was not disappointing it was just the little things of service. Not very attentive and failed to inform us kitchen was closing so no desert was offered when we were looking forward to it. We are so disappointed today we love to come here for a roast, Today our dinners came out cold first the waitress scooped the sweed off our plate’s and took it to be reheated then we realised the meat was also cold when the waitress came back we told her she took our plates out to the kitchen and I saw Giles waving his hands in the air then she came back with dinners and said the chef refused to re heat them there was a couple on the table next to us who had the same problem, ?? we were all so shocked at the attitude it of the chef who didn’t come out to tell us himself. We asked if we could speak to him and she said he was too busy, ! We couldn’t believe it. If we weren’t so hungry and thinking that we would most likely not get another roast anywhere else at this time would have just given it back.when the waitress came back to take our half eaten meals I asked if we would a discount as we had to sit and eat cold dinner and the waitress said no he won’t do that I’m afraid. Unbelievable really bad service Giles, (Sorry Charlotte but it really wasn’t good service at all 😡😡😡) we left with the other couple arguing with the poor waitress about their cold dinner ! Giles, I have just read you read your reply to my review, I just want to say we were not rude we just asked when we paid if we would get a discount as we had to eat a cold dinner. So we never as you so rudely said (Threw our toys out the pram) Also we never had our dinner for 10 minutes we told the waitress as soon as we took the first mouthful. The sweed was not just warm it was very cold like you had not heated at all we weren’t just being fussy. You did re heated that but as soon as we tried the meat that was also cold and you refused to re heat it so you never rectified the problem as you have said. There was a lady and her daughter sat on the next table to us had the same issue. Who ended up arguing with your waitress this was not us so I think you have your wires crossed. You can ask your waitress if you do not beleive what we are saying. We certainly never caused a seen as you say. That was the other couple.who was still arguing as we left. We asked to see you as we were going to say that we didn’t mind if you popped it it in the microwave but we were told you were too busy to come out. We paid and left and I can assure you we never upset any of you other customers. You’re not telling the truth because as you know we were not the only ones who had this issue This is the truth !

We had a lovely weekend stay at the Brookfield hotel. We had a function on the Saturday night which was a 7 course meal and I have to say I was blown away with the service and the reassurance of my gluten free options, I could literally have exactly the same dishes as everyone else with just a couple of tweaks I couldn’t believe it! A lovely gentleman served me who I think was a manager (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) which made me feel so looked after as it can be daunting eating out somewhere new! All staff were helpful and made the evening run smoothly it was very professional! The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed, the only thing I would say is more plug sockets but that’s not the end of the world! Also it was a bit expensive for room service as a sausage and bacon sandwich ended up being £13.45 including tray service but again with inflation maybe that’s why it was that much! Apart from that there was plenty of parking at a small charge and the hotel was easy to get around. Thank you for looking after us, it was the best meal I’ve had as a coeliac plus the most I’ve ever been able to eat!

Our friends booked this restaurant on the strength of it's once achieved Michelin star....myself and my husband are vegetarian which they were told at the time of booking.the restaurant itself is very tasteful and has a calm feeling we were seated and given menus ours was the desert menu when we pointed this out the waitress inform us we could chose our desert and told us what we were having as a starter and main course never have I been to a restaurant or even a pub and been told what I'm eating unfortunately the meal went down hill from that moment our pre starter nibbles were tiny cones our friends were filled with a chicken parfait ours garlic mayonnaise which was so white it could only have come out of a jar....then a small box with a couple of sun dried tomatoes some miniature breadsticks and 2 halves of a papadew pepper with some cream cheese filling again all from jars .....our starter a beetroot and horseradish soup was so over salted it sucked all the moisture from your mouth ,our main was roasted celeriac which was buried under an array of wilted greens that looked like someone had run a rake through a pond and dumped it on the plates and most amazingly of all part of the' drzzle' around my plate was marmite !!! Straight from the jar....I didn't bother with dessert and had a coffee and seet treats a small dish of things that were described to us but unfortunately we're described incorrectly as the dark chocolate covered cherry turned out to be a dark mint chocolate unfortunately for me I dislike both marmite and mint chocolate...our friends had a fish and venison meal which they said didn't match the price all in all I would never visit or recommend this restaurant to anyone, such a dissapointment ,no real thought given to our meals we've eaten better at a local pub and certainly given a choice ! If this restaurant is charging the money it does they really need to up their game or reduce the prices.....

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for two before dinner elsewhere. Good selection of drinks, coal fire and good service. Seemed a really nice pub.
