I love a good sandwich or baguette for my lunch. I lament the quality of sandwiches and baguettes available today-limp, tasteless, flavourless, you know who you are big supermarkets-as for the corner shop variety, the least said, the better-listeria factories...so a treat to discover Le Petit Pain on an all too rare trip to Emsworth-its clean and bright inside, plenty on offer (the options are so numerous, its like reading a small book) and a friendly welcome-plus the freshest and most tasteful egg mayo and salad baguette I have had in years. Repeat customer now. Thankyou.

Absolutely tremendous sandwich shop, expertly staffed by two exciting ladies, the likes of which are normally observed on the promenade in San Tropez or Rodeo drive being ushered into a high end boutique. The pair managed to turn a humble cheese and onion toastie into some thing fit for a lord!!!

Currently the cafe at the museum where I volunteer as a Staff Manager is closed, but i get fed up with supermarket sandwiches. Here they are fresh and made in front of you with lots of choices and extras. Drinks, snacks and cakes are available too. The takeaway sandwiches can be a baguette, white roll or sandwich . The first two are very filling, so far I have tried the Tuna Mayo with salad and Roast Beef , salad and coleslaw. Both very fresh and about £3.40 in the larger roll or baguette version.

We were so pleased to be able to buy a 'made to order' prawn & salad (with cayenne always offered) baguette and a chicken mayo & salad baguette takeaway to eat whilst watching the windsurfers in Emsworth ... wow!!!

Happy to make my favourite, good ingredients and all at normal prices. Get your lunch here as opposed to the co.op across the road.

Le Petit Pain breakfast order really hit the spot! Saturday morning and in a hurry to get out and start the day, I needed to fuel up the kids. A quick call to Petit Pain got our breakfast on order and ready for collection within 5 minutes. The wide choice of fillings ensured that the age ranges in my party were all catered for. From a coronation chicken sandwich on white, to Nutella on wholemeal, to a hot bacon and mushroom soft bap, we were all happy. Friendly and efficient service. I would highly recommend a visit.

Thanks for yet another great lunch run, All the team enjoyed their meal deals, it is so nice to have them freshly made, rather than the ones made at stupid o clock, driven down in a van! great to phone in advance and get you order. ps loved the home made goodies

I regularly drop into Le Petit Pain with my family to grab a spot of lunch. Always a great selection of bread available and and a wide and varied choice of hot and cold fillings. I would highly recommend Le Petit Pain, particularly if you enjoy fresh sandwiches made to order. Family run business with efficient and friendly service . Well worth a visit.

Great food with great service, good pricing and range of options, nothing like a bacon sausage and mushroom bap!

My wife and I visited Emsworth last Monday and walked up the alley from the main carpark looking for somewhere to have a snack,Le Petit Pain is directly opposite. The young man who served us was clean and friendly, there is a good choice of sandwiches and Baguettes and pies, our sandwiches were very fresh and very full, extremely good value. We have just retired from the food service business with a top rating so we know what we are talking about. Give Le Petit Pain a try.

Girl in shop just had cigarette outside and went in and started handling cheese without washing hands, no gloves and blonde hair not tied back or covered. Even worse was finding a black hair in salad roll, now firmly binned. Le petit dirty...never again. Moka cafe over the road far nicer and better selection \prices..... glad 2nd lunch was better.

Petit Pain is nestled next to the Fire station and the town museum to the north of Emsworth. It's a great place to pop in and choose from a wide variety of baguettes, hot or cold. There's lots to keep a hungry worker topped up and happy for their afternoons' work.

Nice little sandwhich shop with at least 20 different sandwhich options mainly chicken bsed but obviously all the other meats you would expect plus a few pastries and other places. Ideal to swing in for your packed lunch needs. Please remember this place is cheap and cheerful, the food isnt locally sourced but it is tasty. (my girlfriend turns her nose up at it)

Lovely service with a smile. Good coffee. I also bought some homemade cake for £1 and the money from that goes to charity. Will be back again!

Having previously had a good experience, my 90 year old mum and I went for lunch. We ordered prawn salads with falafel and humus from the menu. The last two items were missing on our plates, but when queried we were told that nobody ordered those so they didn't have any! We asked for an alternative and were given half a slice of bread each! I then found a hair in my salad, but when I reported this, I was told that the kitchen staff had dark hair so it wasn't theirs! I was too stunned to reply! Then I was told we couldn't expect a refund, because the hair wasn't theirs. I explained we didn't want a refund, just an apology. Never again!

An old style pub in the heart of Havant. Outdoor seating area, 2 televisions and a fireplace inside. Extremely lovely helpful welcoming staff. Delicious Roasts served on a Sunday from 12pm till 2pm, but definitely need to book in advance.
