I visited The Swan to have a catch up with some friend… The pub is quite large and more like a traditional pub from years ago… The staff all seemed very pleasant, and we were served quickly. They serve food which we did not try but sometime in the future I will return and try it. We visited reasonably early on a Friday evening and it was not crazy busy, just a nice vib to share a pint and natter with friends. The Swan has a quite big car park and there is also no parking restriction in the streets nearby. I would be happy to return in the future. Some of my reviews may seem unforgiving but I come from a time when everything was not “Awesome” and “near enough was not good enough”. So, if I say something is “Excellent” that is because it is somewhere better than most others… and well worth considering visiting. I hope this review was of help, please consider following my travels & reviews in the autumn of my life.

I went for dinner with my family and we had food from the new menu. All I can say is WOW! Scrumptious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the quality was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely for a Wednesday evening out with the family. We will definitely be back for more dinners!

Went to the swan tonight and ate with family from the new menu. Wow I have already booked a table for fri night. Food and presentation was amazing. Staff are very friendly

Great pub , clean, nicely decorated, extremely friendly & helpful staff & the food has always been hot , tasty and a good variety on menu and Specials Board. I would advise any family to come here for a meal & drinks . The Landlord & Landlady are warm & friendly. It’s so nice to have a local we can walk to and relax .

Booked function room for a party. From start to finish Kerrie & her staff couldn't do enough. Hire was easy to do, reasonable price and access to decorate given. Room is clean, tidy, presentable with access to garden. Options for food etc. We haven't yet had a meal but have visited a few times for a drink (or two). Lovely atmosphere and plenty of parking. Highly recommend a visit or hire of function room.

I visited with my partner this Easter weekend for food and a few drinks. We ordered the steak and the Gammon, food was well presented and delicious. I must also say that the staff were very Friendly. We will be back again for sure

First time visiting today, a last minute idea for Mother’s Day as other half didn’t book anywhere. Such a welcoming environment, the locals and the staff was so friendly and accomadating! and even managed to squeeze us in for a carvery! Which was really good too. Visited on sat to try they unlimited breakfast. Was amazing, everything was fresh and hot. Couldn’t believe it was only £8.98 for all you could eat. I have since been back for drinks, staff are very friendly and has some great entertainment on most weekends

Considering was taking family there for a neal booked and said you may have to wait for food ad doing takeaways I replied it wouldn't be more then a hour and said shouldn't be ,I didn't turn up due to that

We held my birthday party here. The landlady was very helpful from the min we booked. Staff even helped us decorate on the night. And the buffet was amazing. Highly recommend this pub we have since been back with family for a Sunday carvery and will definitely be back for another.

We came in there for a family meal with my bfs family the food took too long the manager a man on shift was drinking alcohol, the pub was generally dirty, when I did see the chef he was chatting on the bar or serving alcohol, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it, to rowdy and awful service.

Visited the pub for a party, fantastic music and even better bar staff. Kerry is such a lovely friendly landlady will definitely come back.

Best pub in leigh park glad they've got rid of the vile staff that thought they was something special. Been drinking in here 40 years and it did go down hill with them but back on the up, good ridence to bad rubbish.

A fantastic carvery the beef was very nice and tender and the selection of vegetables was both tasty and hot.

Music to loud not suitable turns for a quite Sunday lunch

This pet friendly place is definitely up and coming. The weekly Tuesday Quiz nights , the midweek and Sunday carvery , the regular live music and karaoke nights , and a full on football and sports programme showing on the many tvs around the pub. In the summer, you have the lovely garden to have a few cold ones and with the extension of the seating out the front you won't miss a minute of the beautiful weather. The evening/weekend staff are friendly and accommodating and always happy to help. The food is always hot and there is a good menu choice which is reasonably priced. And although I've not had cause to use it, there is a good size function room that is available for birthday parties, wedding receptions, baby showers and christening celebrations. The Swan, with Kerry and her amazing team, are making the pub the place to be.

I have been Intending to write a review for weeks. We only live around the corner from the swan so easy for us. We went for a Sunday Calvery about 5 weeks ago and we have been every Sunday since. The staff are fantastic and helpful. There is always a warm welcome from Kerry and Luke the Chef who makes the delicious Calvery. During the week the menu on offer is much better than pub food. Thank you Kerry and team for the hard work making The Swan inn a must place to visit.

Nice little venue room fits about 30 but knocked off a star. As the resident DJ is stone deaf. We asked him to turn it down 3 times then the outside doors get shut at 9pm because the neighbours complain about the noise 😂 erm get your levels checked and set them, for a small room not a stadium.

The Swan Inn is a fantastic pub in Bedhampton near to Havant, Hampshire. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and the carvery is particularly excellent. The roast beef is tender and juicy, and the vegetables are cooked to perfection. The gravy is also delicious, and there is plenty of it. The service is excellent, and the staff are always happy to help. The Swan Inn is a great place to go for a meal with friends or family. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the Swan Inn to anyone looking for a great, traditional pub. They have a clear set of daily activities and all the major sports fixtured. I will definitely be returning to the Swan Inn in the future.

Came here on a Saturday evening and they stopped doing food at 6pm. Apart from that everything great.

Went here for work but found really friendly staff.... Kerry was full of energy and made everyone feel very welcome. This place was lovely and clean with a nice homely feel and does carvery meals on a Sunday.

We took our mum here for a Sunday Roast, we had to wait a long time for the food but it was worth it the food was fresh and lots of it, they were very apologetic and gave us desserts on the house which was a lovely gesture will definitely return thank you

We live round the corner and I've lived here 9 years and have only used the pub three times,once for my partners 30th,once for a celebration drink when we interred her Mum's ashes and again this week for my partners wake. Food was provided and good quality,service is good and i hear that the hot food is very good (I'm yet to try)! Will probably be back soon!

New owners and the food was terrible... Sunday roast has gone down hill so much we left hungry... Only veg was carrots the mash was smash the nut roast was burnt to a brick the Yorkshire was burnt the kids chicken was horrific the roast potatoes was soggy. Wasn't asked how our meal was but that's probably best as was not happy at all.

Very disappointed has new landlady, use to be small ,med , large roast dinner ,only one size now very small only 2 roast potatoes rest was mash, had to pay with cash card as soon as u ordered, ask for dessert menu was told dont really have one but would ask on her return was in formed they had brownies yet again the waitress came out with the cash card before we had our dessert ,use to be really good pub and food was really good to wont be returning

Nice pub with polite staff. Unfortunately, not very wheel chair friendly as there are no ramps out to the pub garden, not good when you have to go outside to drink during the pandemic.

Recently moved to the area where me and my wife have been in the swan inn a couple of times. each time we have been in the staff have been friendly and the place has a welcoming feel . Spoken to some of the regulars and they are really nice people . The reason for a 4 star is because I haven't had highly recommended Sunday roast yet .which I've heard is great .

Been to the Swan 3 Times in the last two months. 1st time during the help out to eat out. 2nd for Sunday roast and again for a midweek dinner after help out to eat out. Have to say all 3 times the food was great. Real good value for money and good portion sizes especially the big Sunday roast. We live a couple of doors away and will be going so much more often. This is our local and we love it. Since pubs opened again it had gone out of its way to meet socially distancing guidelines. The food is always amazing and we have eaten here twice under the government scheme. The steaks are amazing.what’s not to like! Today Emma arranged a special on the menu. Just for us . I can not recommend this pub highly enough

Paul & Emma with there great staff have worked there magic over the last few months during the pandemic. The Pub is marked out and tables spaced out with one door for the entrance and another for the exit. The huge garden has plenty of tables to. I highly recommend booking especially for one of the great Sunday roasts. See you again very soon :)

Good value, welcoming atmosphere, bar games and very friendly staff. Great value meals and really tastey food. List of bar snacks looked very impressive too.

A vulnerable couple had their wedding reception here. They paid for food for 40 people. They then got in touch and said that only 20 would be there. The manager was very unhelpful. He could have suggested a smaller more varied buffet. As it was the buffet was dull and uninteresting. The salad used to decorate the plates was limp and dry. The cheese sandwiches had not been buttered. Having at first argued that of course they were buttered, once faced with the evidence, he removed the plate, buttered them and brought them back in???? His excuse:- The couple had asked for plain cheese ? Seriously??? When deserts were asked to be brought out, he said that he was told they were bringing their own cake?!!! Yes wedding Cake not dessert !! We asked for the shutter doors to be closed to section us from the main pub. We were told no! The doors had to remain open as people needed to use the main floor of the function room we were in, to pass through to the garden. Everyone and their dogs!!! The bridal top table was there. Nice!!! People walking right through and past with their dogs, to have a cigarette. When we challenged this, the manager expressed quite rudely that ‘This is a pub, Not a community hall!’ All in all a terrible experience. This couple were robbed as far as I’m concerned! The bar staff in the evening were very pleasant

We recently held a family & friends get together here, ordered a buffet to feed our party. Buffet food was the perfect amount and something to please all. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Will be returning for regular meals and again if we wish to hold any family get togethers, this pub will be top of our list! The wife and I ordered medium sized Roast Beef dinners, A good plateful of attractive looking food duly arrived and although my beef looked a little pinker than i would have liked, all including the yorkshire, roasties and veg was very tasty indeed. Accompanying beer was also good. I can recommend the Swan Inn, great food and a nice pint.

I had the breaded goujons, with chips and peas. The fish was very good, a nice crunch and not over cooked. The service from Ali was terrific, genuinely friendly, despite being very busy.

Went here as a big family group to eat. Ordered before. Food was nice and amazingly reasonable. Food did come out at all different times and kids meals where last. Staff where very friendly and welcoming. Easy to park.

Had three of four Sunday Roasts and they never disappoint - this sundays was no exception piping hot with a pile of perfectly cooked beef, great selection of veg and delicious gravy - all staff and management top dollar - this pub has never looked so good - keep up the great work

Having moved the Swan Inn is now my nearest pub. First visit was for lunch with a mate. Great food. OAP Mac & cheese and gammon, eggs and chips. Good value. So took family for a Sunday roast. Made a big mistake by ordering a large! It was absolutely massive. I hade a huge amount of roast lamb. Terrific value. So tonight after a days heavy duty work in the garden it’s off to the pub for supper. 2 ribeye steaks please. Absolutely delicious. Now when can I go again ....

Been here twice now,food was great both times..tasty home cooked meals ,want to try the Sunday lunch,staff friendly and dogs welcome...beer tasty and lots of different gins for the lady ,and men it seems lol...will be back,nice to have this around the corner.

Shame it was visited for a wake, wish it was better circumstances, but it is a lovely pub with friendly staff and a great choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
