Sorry to say I have not visited it socially I only clean it,but it is changing it's décor,it has knock out pool Monday night's quiz nights and live bands throughout the week and on Sunday afternoon not serving food at the moment I am told,but what the hell booze and sounds you can't go wrong

Nice pub to pop in and chat and a few beers its a local an independent not a franchise good old fashion pub lots going on so I say pop in as ther is not meny pubs left on your door step now so we have to keep them open

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Always good entertainment here. Pub quiz on Thursday nights is especially good. Shame they don’t do food anymore, but they do let you bring food in.

Fantastic community pub, nice clean pint, lovely welcoming staff and management, nice surrounding area which is clean, tidy bushes and weeded well and great entertainment, would highly recommend!

It was a great night at the time, but I didn't see the signs on their car park, and got sent a £60 fine. When I phoned the manager to ask if anything could be done she was rude and hung up on me. I didn't dispute that the signs were there, but she acted as if I had and just wouldn't listen to what I was asking her. A good experience totally ruined by the parking company and the manger's poor attitude.

Good beer, live music. What else do you want?

Good live music venue which can get very busy for the more popular bands. Service is great but there can be a bit of a wait when busy. Drinks are definitely considerably more expensive than average here.

A proper pub, lovely staff & friendly punters. Feel so comfortable I go on my own sometimes. Great place.

Nice looking local in Waterlooville town centre. What I would call an old fashioned pub. Which in my book is a good thing. Friendly staff and they also do regular music evenings which are always well attended. Photo of the stage is included in my review. I came before 12 noon when I took this photo. If you like your rugby this is also a good spot to watch.

This is a great place to go and watch live Bands. All types of music is catered for just check their website or Facebook page first to find your taste in music. there have a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. On music nights it can get busy but that just adds to the atmosphere well worth a visit.

My local karaoke, every Tuesday from 8. Great entertainment

Nice pub, cheap beer in the afternoon

Staff can't do enough for you great place to stop for a cheeky pint after work £3 a pint until 6pm weekdays and a free car park.

Beautiful old rustic pub with a good range of drinks and great bands and lovely staff.

First visit today, and pleasantly surprised, a proper traditional style pub, good selection of beers,spirits and the staff were very friendly. Used the toilets and they were spotless!! Would have been a 5 rating but unfortunately no food available, hoping next visit the kitchen will be open.

Had a really great night - great music, atmosphere and staff - a busy pub which is definitely worth a visit - can't wait for our next visit probably with the TrevorJohnBand too - excellent stuff

It's my local proper pub, not many around the Ville these days! beer is reasonably priced, £3 a pint upto 6pm Monday to Friday, and outside these hours the beer is still pretty cheap in comparison to most pubs I know, okay the spoons next door is cheaper but they are an abomination to hospitality! Staff here always friendly and never have to wait long at the bar for your beer... Great bands here to! Fully recommend for a piss up! 😁🍻🤟😜

Awesome. Great music, great friends, brilliant bar staff and a friendly crowd.

This is the first time we've been to this pub and we came to see our friends band play!! The pub was very warm and welcoming, it's a very spacious pub with the bar in the middle. The staff were all very polite amd friendly which is so nice to see!! Drinks were also very nicely priced. We can't wait to go back!!

Went here Friday night for the 1st time and watched MafiaRocks play, my god they were brilliant covers band. Great vocals and bloody excellent guitar playing. Excellent atmosphere.

Went on music night so place was very busy full of character and characters. Good venue if you like it busy and noisy. Non music nights are probably quieter.

Lovely pub that do delicious home cooked meals, their Sunday roast is very popular. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Also live bands at weekend evenings.

The heroes is a great local pub, great beer, great ale, nicely priced. Has a whole host of live music every Friday and Saturday night. One of my favourite places for live music.

Expensive, 5 quid for a Koppaberg!

Live music was very good, But was far too loud, struggled to talk to each other within our group.

In the process of being refurbished, can't understand why they don't close for a couple of weeks. Always a good place for bands

This is a typical sports bar and caters very well. The staff were great but my draught ESB was not of very good quality at all. It was not clear and had a strange taste like it was the first one of the day and it had been in the pipes all night. The place lacked character as well and is not really my kind of pub but is popular and seems to be well run but I think the cellar management could be improved.

Great pub for bands gets rammed with punters

We pulled in here on the off chance for some food. I was very pleasantly surprised. The roast dinner we had was excellent good portion size and hot on arrival at the table. Would definitely recommend.

Dirty. What a dreadful come down. 1st time I'd been in there since my wedding reception was held there. Carpet threadbare and filthy.

I shouldn’t have to wait over 8 minutes to get a drink when I was the only one in there. Barman only noticed us as we left. Oh well Wetherspoons enjoyed my money

Brilliant pub great staff and customers

Good old fashioned boozer. Football on a huge screen, pool table, smoking area, dogs are allowed (on a lead) Happy hour during the week. Usually have live bands at the weekend!

Lively good entertainments music nights weekend

Hungry after a trek round DFS so popped in here for lunch. First impression was it's not particularly inviting, appearing like a "local's pub" with annoying gambling machines and TVs hung on every wall. After finding the food seating area and looking at the menu we weren't sure if we'd stay but then saw food coming out the kitchen and decided to give it a go. The menu was basic but reasonably priced. When it came to the table the plates were well filled and the food was very hot - no standing about waiting for service. It was delicious, all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Staff were very friendly. So despite the outside appearance and locals hanging about the bar I would be happy to recommend it as somewhere to go if you want cheap but tasty grub.

Only been there a few times but thoroughly enjoyed it, friendly atmosphere, drinks are quite reasonable, music and bands are great, bar staff are smiling ( big factor) and finally it's a quite big place.

Went in for a drink on a Monday afternoon, was welcomed as soon as I walked through the door! They serve my favourite dark fruits cider and at £2.50 can’t go wrong Thank you Sammy and Anna for top class service

Went in on a Saturday afternoon and ordered baguettes. They were just about closed for food but were happy to make them and they were really good. Nice, friendly people, very reasonable prices. Would definitely go back

It's a pub pub not into the food thing

The only downfall us their card machines are only reachable from certain points of the bar (which is a bit old skool with regular technology in mind) but amazing otherwise

It's about as close to being a pub as you can find nowa days but the clients are very loud. The service is reasonable and it is generally clean. The beer is good and the food is a reasonable price. There is a minimum payment of £5.00 if you want to use a card.

Car parking can be a pain with people leaving their cars in carpark and not going in the pub but going shopping! !but really good pub
