The people who are genuinely reviewing a Greggs - are you for real? Staff are lovely, just in case you want the same sausage roll you can get in any sizable town in Britain.

I really like their patties and bakes. You get cupcakes and patties and puffs (veg and non veg). You can have it or takeaway. The staff were really cheerful and lovely.

My apologies to the havant branch staff they are incredibly nice people who are doing a great job just having to dish up food that I can never bring myself to eat. My other half will often get a meal deal here as its the best value in town but Its a greggs

Travelled from the US to visit family, and visited Gregg's 5 times in four days! My husband loves the food, so we ate plenty, always such a warm welcome from the staff. We will always visit when in town!

Food is always good quality, they always seem to run out of there pasta. And could do with more ice buns being sold but food is always lovely here.

Popped in at just gone 2pm to grab some lunch, the fridges were empty, hardly any made up rolls or sandwiches available, nothing much in the way of hot savouries either. Grabbed one of the limited cakes that was left and ordered a white coffee. Left feeling let down and that was compounded even more when the white coffee turned out to be black which I found out when I reached the car. Disappointed!

Greggs are always reliable for friendly service, tasty snacks and cakes. Coffee as good as the more expensive Costa.

Frustrating, at 2pm hardly any cakes or sausage rolls! Unusual for a Greggs as this time of day it's normally busy with a queue still.

Ok it's cheap and cheerful the steak pasties are not bad. Back in the day I used to demolish the cheese and ham but they seemed to of stayed up north, the coffee isn't good. The price is decent for what you get

Having been to this particular greggs many times I can say that most of the times the staff are nicet most of the timethe sandwiches are fine if you like some bread and butter with possibly some filling if you are lucky, it's only made worse when you get a hot chocolate with the meal deal and it tastes of hot water and chocolate powder separately.

Standard fare for a Greggs bakery which is cheap nosh. They open nice and early so perfect for a bacon roll first thing or stop off for a pizza slice, cake and drink at lunchtime.

Greggs Havant is a small shop with good service and stock. The price offers good value and the food is always well prepared. The staff are friendly - just watch out for the queues at peak times!

How can you review a sausage roll served in a paper bag?It filled the gap for less than a pound. It was a nice crinkle free bag. Sausage roll was sausage rolly. Keep up the good work Gregg's of Havant. :-)

The food wasn't cheap but the Sunday roast was abysmal. Rock hard potatoes, the staff couldn't care less and decided as I wanted to swap red cabbage for cauliflower cheese, this would cost me a side dish. I declined but ended up with the red cabbage taken off my plate. It took nearly 50 minutes to get food despite it being half empty. A huge disappointment.

We had a lovely weekend stay at the Brookfield hotel. We had a function on the Saturday night which was a 7 course meal and I have to say I was blown away with the service and the reassurance of my gluten free options, I could literally have exactly the same dishes as everyone else with just a couple of tweaks I couldn’t believe it! A lovely gentleman served me who I think was a manager (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) which made me feel so looked after as it can be daunting eating out somewhere new! All staff were helpful and made the evening run smoothly it was very professional! The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed, the only thing I would say is more plug sockets but that’s not the end of the world! Also it was a bit expensive for room service as a sausage and bacon sandwich ended up being £13.45 including tray service but again with inflation maybe that’s why it was that much! Apart from that there was plenty of parking at a small charge and the hotel was easy to get around. Thank you for looking after us, it was the best meal I’ve had as a coeliac plus the most I’ve ever been able to eat!

Decided to try Coastguard after reading reviews and have to say that overall it is well worth a visit. We had small portions of cod, chips and peas which was delicious- lovely crispy batter! A log fire was burning although I don’t think it had been going for long as it was still on the cool side in the restaurant. The only downside was the tea - to be honest it was pretty awful and I suggest you avoid it completely.
