The best restaurants serving British food in Aylesbury Vale South East

Popped in here on a stormy Saturday - local ale & hot chocolates which were all great. The place was clean - it smelt freshly clean and it had a nice atmosphere. Chap behind the bar was a little stressed but we were in no rush. Would come back - the gin list was amazing!

Couple plus adult son. Booked in here as a motorhome stopover. Table booked for the evening. Landlord was happy for us to park up with permission in the morning so we could spend the day with our son who’s moved in locally. Lovely olde worldy country pub. Clean, friendly, proper home cooking & prices. Play area for kids outside and covered seating also outside. Peaceful nights sleep on sloping grass. Defo recommend and defo return.

What a find. We were made to feel very welcome including baby. Reasonably standard pub menu but the food was high quality and plenty of it.

My husband has always wanted to go here, then watching escape to the country saw the pub advertised. So decided just to go and hoped they were open. They were.... And it was so worth it, typical lovely old English pub, welcoming landlord, good selection of draft beers. Decided on the fillet steak and wow, it was good, the best we've had eating out in a very long time., recommend a portion if the home ade onion rings. We will be going back. Absolutely excellent

Not sure why the heading today - 3.9.24 states CLOSED. Have been in and around Winslow this last week and seen the pun open and in use, particularly Saturday. Although my photo was taken before opening hours from the outside the cafe opposite.

This pub is a lovely friendly place with great music and the Sunday lunches are really tasty. Its a regular haunt for the family on a Sunday. The pies are amazing and sell out quickly.

What an absolute rip-off for the worst coffee ever. The staff clearly have no idea about making different types of coffees. If you don't have knowledgable staff, the retailers should have more grace rather than exploit unsuspecting customers. I'm still reeling from this incident. £4.10 for a small, horrendous cup of coffee-flavoured milk, purporting to be a Flat White. Absolutely disgusting. The owners of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. Daylight robbery.

A lovely atmosphere, with tasty food and coffee. Service was attentive and the food arrived quickly. Highly recommended.

One of the best pub lunches I have ever had anywhere - the beer was very good too. Staff were welcoming and cheerful, food excellent.

We came to this pub for lunch - we were the only customers, but the staff were wonderfully friendly and quite chatty. We had a prime bench outside in their lovely little garden - the lunch itself was simple, rustic, and very tasty. I was so impressed. Totally recommend!

I visited the small cafe in MK this morning and I have to say the ice cream was very lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly relaxed cafe with yummy cafe food and brilliant cakes. The coffee is really good and the hot drinks always properly hot! The staff are wonderful, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and there is a fair bit of room around tables for a buggy or two. My favourite is the quiche with salad and chips - so good.

Amazing fish and chip shop! Perfect chips, perfect fish, and all the other items are great too! Can't recommend enough :)

Hemos tenido algunas buenas comidas y aperitivos aquí, pero hemos aprendido que la cafetería cerrada en noviembre del año pasado. No sabemos si ha sido o puede ser resucitado en cualquier forma algún día. Es una lástima. Intentaron realmente difícil.
