Friendly relaxed cafe with yummy cafe food and brilliant cakes. The coffee is really good and the hot drinks always properly hot! The staff are wonderful, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and there is a fair bit of room around tables for a buggy or two. My favourite is the quiche with salad and chips - so good.

Great coffee and cake all homemade served quickly in a lovely friendly atmosphere will definitely come again when in the area.

We stopped in here on the off-chance seeing space to sit outside in the sun. We didn't realise they were about to close (10 mins) and when I went in they had just finished tidying away all the cakes. Instead of saying they were closing as a lot of places would, they said we were welcome to stay and offered to bring out the selection of cakes for us! We opted for a some tray bakes which were great and a lovely mug of coffee each. Will definitely be back.

We have used Tickety Brew frequently for business meetings in the village over the last 6 months and now also have used them to supply working buffet lunches for the office when we have company wide meetings. Cannot fault the service, quality of food and the welcome you always receive either on the phone or in person. Unsurpassed in terms of cafe options in Haddenham...!!

My first visit today , greeted by nice smiley ladies. I had a nice cappuccino, made how I like it and a delicious piece of lemon drizzle cake . It’s nice to find a lovely clean place like this tucked away in a quiet village

Sitting outside on a Saturday morning with a hot bacon buttie and a Cappuccino watching the world go by. What’s not to like?

This is a fantastic place for such a small village. The staff are friendly, they are always smiling and talking to customers. The food is great too, Saturday morning breakfasts are to die for. The coffee is actually really good and I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so a good coffee first thing in the morning in is always welcome and you get that here.

A good traditional cafe, nothing more, serving everything you’d expect from breakfast to teatime. Good satisfying wholesome food.

Really nice café - my sister is new-ish to Haddenham and we popped in to get a takeaway iced tea and coffee which we took away to relax with at the duck pond. I was parched and was given an ice cold glass of water as refreshment. The staff members are all so attentive and friendly. Inside the café is comfortable and welcoming and somewhere to enjoy a coffee or a nice meal. We didn't order food but another party was having mushrooms on toast which looked and smelled divine. There is also an option of pre-ordering a cream tea to take away which sounds very tempting. My sister will take her family there in future and I will insist on going again on my next visit to Haddenham and stay to enjoy breakfast or lunch there. thank you

I have visited Tickety Brew a couple of times and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming especially to mums with prams which I know some places find annoying as they take up so much space! Really lovely place to meet for a coffee.

Tickety Brew is a community cafe. It's important that you know this. This popular place fulfills a huge need in Haddenham for a wide spectrum of the local community - offering a place to eat and drink, yes, but also to meet and socialise. If you want trendy furniture and an uber-cool atmosphere, go elsewhere. If you want wholesome, tasty British snacks, served in a friendly and welcoming environment then Tickety Brew is the place to come. Their English breakfasts are legendry (although they also provide lighter, continental-style croissants, yoghurts, fruit or porridge too). Quality of ingredients is of a very high standard. It's a small place (the owner is aware of this drawback) but the cafe has a big heart, and it does have a nice front terrace which is busy in the warmer weather (although blankets are supplied for hearty souls wanting to take their coffee outside in the winter!). Highly recommended.

Visited with my dad and we both had a small breakfast and cappuccino. Both breakfast and coffee were excellent and I felt there was a lovely atmosphere in the cafe. Will be back soon!

I couldn't be happier with what Tickety Brew has to offer. So much so that I have a season ticket paying for a week's breakfast up front. The service always comes with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. The cooked breakfast is recognised as the by far the best in the area as the many builders who flock there for 'The Full English' testifies. A true community cafe with ALL ages mingling happily never mind out of hours activities with Vibe and Biker Cafe. Haddenham would be a sadder and lonelier place for many if Tickety Brew were to close and it's wonderful team were to leave us.

This cafe is friendly has fab breakfasts, baguettes, sandwiches and cakes. What’s not to like. It’s all very reasonably priced. The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They also allow well behaved dogs the only cafe in Haddenham to do so. All round it’s a 10 out of 10 from me. With regards the negative review all I can say is yes there is a craft hour once a week which is clearly advertised in the cafe so if you don’t want to share your space with children drawing then avoid that time. It’s a great cafe so please don’t let one negative review put you off visiting this little gem of a cafe.

Tickety Brew is my favourite cafe in Haddenham. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, the food is really good and great value for money and the coffee is delicious. Tracey also gets involved in providing events for the community, like open mic nights, bike night, and hosts a weekly kids craft club. Her cafe is a huge asset to the village.

This place has always been my coffee and breakfast on route to Thame from Leighton Buzzard twice a week. But no more. We arrived Thursday a little later than norm to find a childrens craft club would be held. Thats fine we would be gone by then. Unfortunately the woman who runs this areived early anf asked a man waiting for his breakfast to move else where as thats where she wants to be. He moved outside and we had no option with her reserving seating and tables to go outside. It wasnt so warm that morning either. A member of staff spoke to the poor guy thrown out of his seat when she brought his breakfast out and we said how disgusting it was for her to do it. So the member of staff went in and toldnher it wasnt to happen again. Well one guy left as he left she was pointing to us and he turned around and she was clearly moaning about us.pointing and staring. He came out and said in a loud voice to other ladies. Had to get out of there despite wanting another drink as the noise is awful with all the kids in there. I dont appreciate being talking about when all went for breakfast and coffee and a relax for 30 mins. Avoid when kids are in there. I wonder how many people are put off by this woman? Maybe a rethink in who does the classes.

Friendly and welcoming this is a good local caff ... teas and coffees, including decaf options, breakfast, sandwiches, baguettes, jackets, salads, shakes and smoothies ... welcomes dogs and children (well behaved in both cases!) - good value pricing too.

Tickety Brew is our favourite cafe in Haddenham. Good food, particularly tasty sausages. Friendly staff. Great for meeting with friends. Tracey is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble for her, always happy, smiling and welcoming.

Spotted this little place when I stopped for one of the neighbouring shops. Popped in for a coffee but decided to have breakfast too. The staff were friendly and food was tasty. I will certainly call here again when I’m in the area.

My husband enjoyed a beautifully cooked and presented "smaller breakfast" from the menu.

Bastante decepcionante visita. Se ha empezado a abrir el domingo por la mañana, así que paramos para el café. No había suficiente personal y esperamos 20 minutos para dos cafés - habiendo visto dos personas para llevar Café y sirve inmediatamente. Recordé que estábamos esperando y que luego tomó otros 10 minutos para el café para ser servido - aparte! Después de todo lo que el café no era bueno - sabor café instantáneo y leche en polvo.

Have visited the cafe on numerous occasions. There is always an excellent selection of gluten free options and the staff are charming and friendly. They work hard to accommodate the gluten free visitor.

En el último lugar que hace un muy buen guiso en la zona y Haddenham thame. He estado buscando las edades y la mayoría de los lugares siempre me decepcionó pero este ofrece muy bien. Ingredientes, recién hechos con una gran taza de té por un precio muy bueno. Un servicio encantador con periódicos. Voy a ser un visitante habitual.

Amazing sausages locally sourced. Clean and tidy and child friendly. Does not take card payments but card machine a couple of shops down

I have past this place hundreds of times but on a wet day decided to give it a try. In an unremarkable location Tickerty Brew looks unremarkable. However with very good parking just outside it is a no brainer for a rainy day. Though pleasant inside it was still just unremarkable.The really big surprise was the quality of the food. I had a breakfast beget was filled with freshly cooked sausage and eggs was extremely tasty. I have also tried the American pancakes covered in bacon and Maple Syrup that were a real savory yet sweet delight.

what a lovely place to go for a cheeky lunch. The service is amazing, a cafe that is child friendly with toys and an amazing children menu. The food is delicious and not overly priced.Love the place.

Just one evening a month does the cafe open its doors to evening diners for a limited choice of home-cooked meals. It is a brave enterprise; the owner is already busy in the kitchen by 6am to accommodate breakfast and having to lay up all over again for evening service is not something to be taken lightly. My wife and I enjoyed Goat's cheese starter - delicious with a simple salad, and we had Butter Chicken (with rice) and a Lamb Hot Pot with excellent boiled potatoes and veg. A whopping Tiramisu (one between two) finished the meal nicely. Bring your own booze and no corkage charge which is as good as it gets. Very friendly and competent service, too. My only gripe which I failed to mention at the time was that my pet hate is to have hot food served on a stone cold plate. Easily rectified, I'm sure.

The 9th December review from 'thefoodgimp' in my opinion is very unfair. We have used Tickety Brew since it opened and always found it to be very good. Always a warm welcome, helpful and friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. The special meal and themed evenings are excellent, a good time had by all. It appears 'thefoodgimp' had a take-away, how long did you leave it before eating, all food deteriorates, gets cold if not used quickly, come on, be fair.

My company puts in a a large order here once a month. I have tried and tried again to give this place a chance. The baguette always arrives looking packed full! Bacon, chicken, crunchy bits, mayo and salad... so why on earth is it so disgustingly bland and horribly tasteless?There are three much better places in Haddenham alone. Avoid!

This is a lovely little café that I use a lot. The food is good and the staff very friendly. The problem is yummy mummies with their darling little offspring who do not consider other people using the café. It is a small café so there is no escape from these little darlings who are left to run in and out of the café screaming their heads off. I will still visit the café but will check first to see if there are any little people in there first. And yes I do have children of my own!!!!

Were looking for a quick bite to eat,nothing major as it was brunch, so we ordered cheese burgers and a kids meal box. What cane out was AMAZING! presentation top marks. And beautifully tasty,delicious! The sweet savory relish in top of a chunky homemade burger with melting grated cheese&then still salad on the bun aswell as on the plate. Then a portion of curly fries on top of all that. We were stuffed to say the least. And superb pricing. 3 of us,with 2coffee's &2cokes with the 3meals came to £20. Will be back very soon and have already recommended! Thanks for a great start to the day,well done.

I visited Tickety Brew with a friend and our babies. Great service, lovely cakes and the best hot chocolate I have had. Lots of room for all the baby equipment, usually tables are squashed together in places like Costa making it difficult to move! I will be returning to this lovely gem and telling all my friends.

Absolutely love this cafe. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere and service always very efficient friendly and cheerful. My son had a burger with chips and he said it was delicious. I've tried a toastie before and bacon buttie for breakfast and they really were spot on. The cappuccinos and hot chocolates are fabulous and there's a great range of home made cakes and treats for a treat. Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely, friendly, welcoming cafe with a wide choice of home made foods, freshly brewed coffee & much more (especially love the chai latte!) I regularly take my children there for their dinner as there is a good kids menu, with large portions at a very reasonable price as well as very substantial meals for the rest of us - burger & fries is a favourite, but there's lots of choice and the staff are more than happy to tweek any of the menu options to suit. There is also a selection of children's toys, paper & pens to keep little ones entertained.Big thumbs up from us!P.s lovely, clean & modern toilet facilities too

Absolutely love this place. The best chai latte I have ever had with the most delicious panini's and home-made cakes. The kids love the milkshakes, especially with the little milk bottles they are served in. A very warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and I will be returning on a regular basis. Very happy to recommend to friends and family!

One of the most friendly cafe's we have visited. Lots of choice we had a delicious home made soup and a fresh baguette lovely homemade cakes too - I can't recommend enough and we will visit again soon thank you lovely ladies

Very friendly staff at Tickety Brew, children friendly cafe which is important to me as one of my children has special needs. Good choice of food on menu and service was very quick. The food was very tasty and well presented. The cafe was clean and I will definitely call in there again when I'm next in Haddenham.

Very disappointing breakfast, toast didn't seem to have seen the grill or toaster, more like dried bread served on a large plate not a side plate, 1 peice of bacon only which was tough,, 1 small sausage, two small mushrooms sliced & over cooked, half a burnt tomato, fried egg which had completely lost its identity, a hash brown& a large amount of globby baked beans, all served on a cold plate....one of the worst breakfast I've had, inedible. It was also very cold so had to keep coats on

They have done a decent refurbishment of the shop, however there are a few things which are letting it down. 3 different menu cards , one on a scrappy piece of paper, part typed, part handwritten. Soup & sandwich offer - not clear which sandwiches are included. Bread on sandwich & baguette were dry and unappetising. Not much choice for cold drinks, warm coke & juice. No cakes on offer. The view of the kitchen through the door was messy and the assistant kept calling through the door to check things ,not very professional. Probably won't be making a return visit.
