We popped into the cafe whilst visiting family in the village, the staff were friendly and helpful, I had a bacon bap and a coffee which was pretty good, the cafe also had a good selection of cheese and wine to take away, I'll return when in the village next

Very disappointing experience overall… Worst was the food we ordered, my wife and I had the halloumi cheese and red peppers in white baguettes… The rolls were hard and stale plus the halloumi was frozen wrapped in bread crumbs tasting nothing like the real cheese and the peppers were so small they were almost none exsistant…

We use this cafe Monday to Friday for lunch as it is so good, the food is fresh and the staff are warm and welcoming especially Christine she always has a smile, the range of drinks is wide and varied and the prices are reasonable. What more could you want.

Attached to the Vineries Garden Centre. We visited this coffee shop, which overall in our opinion was below par. Uncomfortable seating and a very basic layout. The service was robotic. Coffee was OK but the cakes were poor and vastly overpriced.Overall it did not float our boat.We wished we had given it a miss

Met 6 friends here this morning The coffees were nice but prices are high. £3.50 for a Diet Coke is ridiculous. We did not have anything to eat No atmosphere. It ha more of a canteen feel rather than a coffee shop . It was definitely service without a smile. It served it purpose but personally who not choose to return here again

Slightly late on my review but me and my other half went into the pub, on first entering smells like a dogs kennel the smell of dog is highly offensive, do not get me wrong I love dogs but the smell is just bad the place needs a good clean, the pub is dark and dingy the staff are quite friendly but not very interested and sit on a stool behind the bar you have to get there attention to be served as they are often chatting to people in the pub and the land lord and lady are just rude and load the customer service in this place is shocking, its more like a social area for the land lord and his mates and its not very welcoming on entry everyone just stairs at you and the garden is more like a toilet for there dog, not very clean its just disgusting we will not be visiting there again in a hurry.

The people are Clara's are friendly, informative and helpful! We had an amazing tasting bacon bap and a great burger and chips. The coffee's were tasty and always made fresh. A great selection of herbal tea's too! Would highly recommend stopping by and sampling the great quality ingredients that is used to make great food. Thank you to the team at Clara's for a great experience.

It’s a restaurant in the premier inn. Service as expected and food options as standard, burgers and pizzas etc. no draft alcohol only expensive bottles.

Berty the Kemp Town badger likes this deli and hangs around the back door in anticipation of tasty 🥜🥜. Berty the Badger has since relocated to Hastings, but is Kemp Town through and through. He's a rather well groomed and dapper chappy, who is flappy pawed and a bit limp wristed to say the least. If you encounter him he is very friendly and will bow his head for you to stroke the stripes. I first encountered him hanging around with the bovver boy badger gang in east Hastings. He stood out though, and had a metrosexual air about him. I guess he's still mincing about in the woods out there, but I always think about him but n quiet reflection. By the way, I love your deli and it serves gorgeous lasagne and salads. If I'm ever back down that way I'll bob in. Enjoy the photo of Berty. He's raising his paw in the image, that's what inspired his nickname.

Such lovely staff, especially Grace and Alfie who were so nice and made it a brill experience. Pancakes were very good - didn’t realise they offered them! 😄😄

I have already reviewed this in the main hotel site. The drawing rooms are lovely, comfortable chairs, beautiful view, BUT the food and wine by the glass were truly awful. Very poor quality and very expensive. Never again.

Stopped in for a coffee but as it was lunchtime decided to have a jacket potato. I chose cheese n beans and my partner the chilli, both were served with a nicely presented side salad and butter if you wanted it. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was hot, tasty and good value for money. Would definitely go back.
