The best restaurants serving British food in London

Tuvimos nuestra comida de Navidad de equipo aquí y fue genial. Estaba muy cerca de la oficina y tenía un buen menú, así que fue una opción fácil para nosotros. Nuestro almuerzo estaba fijado para las 2 de la tarde y la mesa estaba disponible a la llegada y el teníamos nuestras etiquetas de alimentos listos para llevar. Fuimos por los 3 platos aparte de unos pocos que se unieron el día que tenían que ir con su menú regular. La comida era genial, con algunas grandes selecciones de Navidad en el menú y los tamaños de las porciones eran enormes. La verdura extra para la mesa era un gran complemento - encendido y el servicio era excelente. 3 estrellas debido a que el personal recibe información dietética muy mal para uno de nosotros. Aparte de eso, un gran lugar para el almuerzo de Navidad.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Sohit. From the moment we were seated, Sohit was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. He had great recommendations, answered all our questions with a smile, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food was delicious, but Sohit’s service really elevated the whole experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable and taken care of. It’s rare to come across someone so professional, kind, and enthusiastic. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for Sohit — he made our night extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

The perfect wedding venue! We had our wedding reception at The Rosendale at the beginning of May and would recommend it to everyone! We wanted a fun and relaxed day to celebrate and The Rosendale was a perfect venue. Oscar and his team were so professional, organised but so laid back and stress free. From organising to the day itself we didn’t have to worry about a thing, it was the absolute dream. All the food and drinks were delicious, many of our guests have said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The flow of the day was super smooth and we never had to chase or manage the day ourselves it was seamlessly organised by the team throughout. A shout out to Mel who did our tasting with us and really got the ball rolling with creating our plan for the day, you made us feel so much more comfortable and confident with the plan. We can’t thank The Rosendale enough for making our day so unbelievable special, everyone should have their wedding here!

They used to be "famous for their sausages", but it's still a cracking pub.

Best place I’ve ever been to. I come here regularly and I just can’t never get enough of this place. All the staff is amazing and very welcoming. Food is great and the drinks are solid. I will definitely come back as always.

While on vacation with my wife, we went to this Pub and we really left more than satisfied. The food was excellent, the service very good in a familiar and pleasant atmosphere.

Pub is nice, but not the bartender. There's an old lady bartender there Thur night (24 April 2024) that was very rude and petulantly suggested that we eat somewhere else. This was around 730-8pm. Prior to this I ordered a beer and she was rude then. There's several other pubs nearby. So readers, save yourself the trouble and go to these as these were much nicer with respectful bartenders.

Moved too the area 18 months ago and me and mate decided to go for a walk through Jubilee Country park and we kept walking until we stumble across this pub. Such a fresh look with friendly bar staff. Will definitely go back too this pub and try the food.

If you’re planning on ordering the mushroom toast and/or the cod fish - DO NOT DO SO. I got food poisoning from eating one of those the other night!! :( But at least the service was good

Coffee was not great. But loved the atmosphere and the place altogether.
