Beautiful old English pub with an amazing Italian flare, serving the best pizza this side of Naples! Can’t recommend highly enough. We have become regulars here due to the wonderfully authentic Italian menu, all freshly prepared to order. Also serve the most amazing Sunday Roasts and have an extensive take away menu. Always a warm and friendly welcome and there is a pretty garden for Al fresco dining, and plenty of free parking.

Very friendly staff and good food

A very good Sunday lunch with everything included on the plate. Two of us had chicken which was excellent. Another had lamb also excellent I had the pork very good too. Service was efficient and friendly would definitely return

We had the best experience staying at the White Hart hotel, everything was immaculate and the staff couldn’t do enough for us to ensure our stay was perfect. We also loved the variety of food that was offered for vegans🤍 Thank you so much we look forward to coming again. Abbie & Chloe x

We recently celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at The Cowper Arms booking for a party of 15 including children. It was a wonderful meal with everything cooked to perfection and all served together at the same time for each course. The staff did a great job looking after us and we could not have been happier with the superb service we received. The food choices were excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. It goes without saying we will be returning and just want to thank everyone from our waitress to the chef for making it such a lovely experience for us on this special day.

Fantastic local pub with INCREDIBLE food from local producers. Food was all freshly made and seasonal and delicious. Staff were really lovely and gave excellent service. Just regret not getting a pudding as they all sounded fantastic Specials board was amazing and was most of our order

Great location, lovely staff and food. The beer garden overlooks the horses and there’s a slide for the little ones.

Everytime I come here I am served promptly and my food is ready very quickly. Really good quality chippy and I would always recommend. The only bad thing for me is they do not serve cod roe anymore, so if that's what you're after then you'll have to go somewhere else for it. Large chips is more than enough for me, my other half and the kids. So bear that in mind when you order your portions.
