This place was a really nice find on a March Friday evening for a middle-aged but youthful couple visiting Lowestoft. Our B&B recommended the place next door (pink neon lights, fishbowl look), not for us! But right next door is a 'proper' nice pub. Comfortable, clean, and most of all, very welcoming. As soon as we were halfway to the bar, we got a cheery "hello" and "what can I get for you, are you going to be eating" I'm a bit grumpy when people are overly (falsely) friendly. But the young man and young woman who served us got it just right. Left us alone when wanted, and were quick to respond when we asked. The food is simple, (we had "chicken in a bucket') but the portions are good (but not wasteful) and really tasty and fresh. We've never been to Lowestoft before and probably never will again as we were here for a very specific reason, but our visit to this lovely pub turned a 'functional visit to the town into a pleasurable meal/night out. Thank you

It was the local street fair day and it was extra busy but we never felt rushed and nothing was too much trouble. The food as always was top notch. My son had the Sunday roast which he said was really good. I had battered fish of the day with chips and the batter was the lightest I have ever had. The portion sizes are just right and service was excellent. The staff were all very cheerful and the prices are reasonable for the food and service we had £40 for two of us including drinks. We will definitely be visiting again.

What a find, we managed 4 visits here while on holiday. Breakfast was lovely, we visited another day for a toastie, and also just for a drink while walking. Each time we visited the service were polite, friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

Whenever we visit Southwold, we usually pop down to Suzies & are never disappointed. The food is of a v high standard & the hot drinks excellent. This cafe is very popular, so be prepared to wait & if possible carry cash , as sometimes the card machine can be temperamental

Had not visited Posh Pigs for breakfast for a while, its about twenty miles away being the only reason. Delighted to find that their breakfasts remain the best in the area, superb quality sausages, really tasty eggs, toast as it should be etc etc. Great friendly service as well and good pricing, obvious why they are always so busy regardless of their out of the way location. And a warm welcome for Bear the greyhound as well. I can highly recommend Posh Pigs, its a great cafe!

Me and my papa went here for lunch. Food was quick, fresh, low priced, and tasty! The food was absolutely awesome and I will definitely visit again! Their chips were crinkle cut and very crispy and their bacon and sausages were spot on. Lovely atmosphere and clean toilets. I would definitely recommend!

Our visit was lunch time on a Sunday. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. The Plough is very local for us, but we hadn’t been there for many years (before I had a wheelchair). Entering through the front door was a tight squeeze, but I made it. That’s with an electric power-chair. They don’t have an accessible toilet, but I knew that before we went.

Today my granddaughter and I visited L’Amore because it looked inviting. We really enjoyed the sandwiches because they were proper sandwiches with tasty fillings of smoked salmon, cream cheese and crispy lettuce. They were a manageable size without tons and tons of unwanted salad on the side, just a small pot of coleslaw. All very nice. The service was friendly and the price very reasonable for sandwiches, desserts and drinks. My only criticism is that I was not asked for contact details for Covid contact tracing. Some cafes do this and I wish all cafes did - it’s the only way it will work. Otherwise a very pleasant lunch.

This is a very popular cafe with the construction industry. I would recommend either phoning ahead with your order, or avoid going between 9:30 and 10:30. But don't worry, if you do have to wait, it's worth it. All the food is freshly cooked. If you miss the Little Chef Olympic Breakfast then go for the medium breakfast. Lovely food, great value for money and very friendly staff

Lovely quirky place but the food wasn’t great. We were a party of 6 & all had different meals. I had the lasagne & it was tasteless and whatever mince was in it (which wasn’t much) was cheap & gristly. My son had the ham, egg & chips - cheap ham & overcooked fried egg. The toilet wasn’t very clean & the bin was overflowing with paper towels. We won’t be going back.
