We have been to this tea room on 4 occasions. We never find it open even although there is no closure notice on their website or recorded telephone ansaphone message. By the way we visit within the advertised opening hours.

We were in Southwold for the day and wanted a tasty lunch, we had seen the cafe a couple of weeks ago when on holiday and the reviews looked good The cafe certainly didn’t disappoint, we sat at a table under the verandah overlooking the lake with our dog and ordered jacket potatoes with cheese and beans, side salad and coleslaw - it was a beautiful sunny mild day (18C) The potatoes were beautifully cooked with a fluffy hot inside filled with cheese and beans and the salad had a really tasty vinaigrette on it, plus a cappuccino and a tea Happy and helpful staff, serving really good food at a very competitive price made our day and we will return on our next visit to Southwold Thanks to all staff

Came here a few times when on holiday. Had croissants, sausage rolls, sourdough bread, baguettes and cinnamon swirls. All amazing! Always a queue but worth the wait

Simply the best beach cafe with an amazing view of the sea and beach. Excellent at lunch as well as afternoon tea. One word of warning, look out for pesky seagulls.

Had a nice breakfast here, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Food is as expected and extremely reasonably priced, only downside this time was the sausages were a bit burnt! Other than that we will definitely visit again.

I have had breakfast here twice now. It’s a great prospect and the food is excellent. All portion preferences catered for, the mega is what it says and would feed two! Great value! The queue is a bit of a pain but they do serve fast and delicious coffees! Worth a visit

The cafe has recently been taken over and it has been redecorated inside and it looks really nice and the atmosphere was great. We only called in (quite late) for Coffee and a cake and the staff were very obliging and even kept open a little longer to let us finish. Coffee was great and so were the selection of cakes and savories on offer. We will certainly go again. There are also a couple of circular walks near by which take you west onto farm and woodland (somerleyton estate?) or to the east where you can walk to the Essex and Suffolk water nature reserve which is run by Suffolk Wildlife trust.

Booked for Mothering Sunday, this is a quaint little pub/restaurant, with a limited menu. We both had the Roast Pork. The meal was ok and the service was good.

The food was fantastic and so was the service. Everything was well cooked and obviously all home cooked. Would go there again and reccomend to my friends. Price point was very good, quality of the ingredients and being home made is still better value than the restraunt chain we sometimes eat in. Thank you

A lovely place with amazing people. Such a great little place we found to visit for lunch while staying at Hopton Holiday Village. I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Great food, great prices and just as lovely staff. So accommodating with a large part too.

How Posh Pigs gets rated higher than this wonderful place is quite beyond me. Don't get me wrong, anywhere else PP would be the best in the area by a country mile, but MA's Airfied Diner trumps it easily on all counts. The ingredients are better quality, the atmosphere is far better, it is much more welcoming and the breakfasts and superb home cooked dishes are considerably superior. Plus they fry fried bread instead of boiling it in oil which is an abomination. I too would prefer china instesad of paper plates but you have to consider the practicalities they face in trying to keep their prices so reasonable vs. staff costs for washing up (only two max in the kitchen, and they work flat-out cooking). For food this good I'll happily live with that (very) minor popint. Everyone I take there says it is the best breakfast they've ever had. 'nuff said.
