Posh Pigs in Waveney

First ever visit to Posh Pigs. Excellent. Fantastic choice and very good quality. We choose the roast beef and liver and bacon from the specials board. Generous portions, nice fresh vegetables and plenty of gravy.

Posh Pigs always was and remains THE place for the best value breakfast (or lunch) in East Anglia. Great staff; wonderful food and really good value for money.

My wife and i have been going to this café for several months now and we have NEVER had a bad breakfast or main meal excellent staff. Well worth the money.

This is a regular place.for us to eat and breakfast is delicious. 2 things happened on our last visit. The first, although they were reminded, they chose not to observe the 2 minute silence. 2nd we were a group of 8 and had spent at least £100, I will admit we were there chatting after eating but 2 of us were still drinking our tea when one of the staff came up to us and said "I'm going to have to ask you to leave, people were waiting for tables". We left immediately but were annoyed and surprised at how we were asked to go. Of course we understood that the tables were needed and we had been there a while. But there is a way to ask that would not cause offense. So please Posh Pigs if you need people to vacate tables ask politely

We had the full English breakfast! Everything was larger than normal, good value for money, quick, friendly service!

We came here for brunch yesterday and hadn’t been for quite a while but it hadn’t changed much and was still as lovely as we found before. I had a medium full English and my hubby had eggs on toast with bacon on top, we couldn’t fault it, everything was lovely and hot and was brought out to our table very quickly, we also had a cup of tea each too which was nice. The staff are all lovely and pleasant and the menu has so much choice on it. We will definitely be back soon.

Great food and service as always. Good menu variety. Never have to wait long for your food, even when busy

One of our favourite places if not "the favourite" to visit for breakfast and who doesn't want a full english at any time of the day! Usually order a medium Full English and making it Gluten Free is never an issue as they always have Gluten Free bread and instead of the sausages you can swap these for different items. Staff are always friendly and a mug of tea - good and strong is still only £1.00. I usually visit at least once a month and more often if possible

The food is excellent and can’t recommend it enough. However the customer care is gradually going down hill. A example propping the door open in middle of winter for a good 15 mins for a delivery. This is becoming a regular thing and staff only care about their delivery not that children are all freezing. A whole restaurant now freezing just so they don’t have to open a door. The tables need a good clean. For a place I used to love I’m going less and less often.

Had not been before but as we were passing called in and did not expect what we saw. As it is in the middle of a industrial estate expected something like a working mans cafe but it was just the opposite. Very clean with a great variety of food. We only had a Latte this time but will defiantly be back to sample something off the menu

Amazing Breakfast at Posh Pigs. We went on a Saturday morning on a recommendation from a friend. We weren’t disappointed. Suffolk’s best kept secret breakfast. Amazing value. Easy to park.

It's OK but a bit over priced. Frankly, it's nothing to write home about. It used to be amazing but today was not that great. It's a bit overpriced and quality of the sausages and bacon not that great. The staff work hard. The queue moves very slowly as one member of staff takes orders and makes drinks. Would I go back? In about a year probably when I forget how underwhelmed I was today. Then it will be another year. Perhaps we might try the other place up the road.

What a great place. Little hidden gem in the industrial estate. Couldn’t do enough for me.ordered a takeaway meal which was served plated and wrapped in foil. Food was amazing and staff and service were impeccable. When I’m back in the area I’ll be straight back….. just a shame I don’t live closer because I’d be in there every week!! Keep up the great work, this is a proper cafe. 5⭐️

It is disappointing to see that standards here are slipping, as the business is possibly living off the strong brand name and local reputation. But that will not last forever if the quality keeps falling. The service was slow on a moderately busy day and it took 20 minutes for two breakfasts to arrive. The food was okay, but used to be amazing. The sausages were hard, the eggs under cooked and the whole meal just lacked care and precision. A big issue is also the cleanliness. Tables have a sticky feel to them, especially in the outside area where dirty plates are left for long periods of time and this prompts harassment from the seagulls. These seagulls have grown rapidly in numbers recently and really spoil the experience, as they swoop down in search of food. An attempt has been made by the restaurant to scare the birds away, by installing a speaker which booms out loud bird noses - but the seagulls take no notice at all and all this does is make sitting outside even more unpleasant, as it adds the noise and nuisance from the actual seagulls. We also had an unpleasant experience where a dog fouled in the outside seating area... and although the larger 'bits' were picked up, there was a disgusting residue leftover. I would recommend the nearby Airfield Cafe, as Posh Pigs seems to not have responded well to this competition and is suffering through complacency.

This has to be the very best cafe-dinner in East Anglia. The quality hasn't changed in all their year's of fantastic service. The staff and food are fantastic. Some restaurants could learn a thing or too. Visiting there again after so many years was terrific...

Nice clean cafe situated in a little industrial estate with plenty of seating indoors and out. Large menu - we had the large English breakfast and it was huge, couldn't finish it. Very good and good value. Plenty of free parking.

Came here completely by off chance, had one small and one medium breakfast. Super service, food freshly cooked and piping hot. Reasonably priced too! Would recommend, our breakfasts were very tasty

Another tasty visit to Posh Pigs. Good strong cuppa and a full English breakfast. (Small) as portions are very good. There were 3 in our group and we all enjoyed what we had. Everywhere is clean, including the loos. Will definitely be back.

Second visit here (I thought I'd give them another chance) Both times my food was awful. £10.50 for lg breakfast with tea.Just half a cold tomato3 mushroomsCold beansHalf a slice of fried bread (the crust end)Soggy (barely buttered) cold toastBacon under-cooked on a dirty griddleAll served on an ice cold plate. And to top it off my tea was luke warm in a dirty mug. Honestly not good enough.

Good very well priced food, usual cafe fare sit in or out, its in the middle of an industrial estate but do not let that put you off.

My first visit to this lively family run establishment and it will not be my last. lots of people have said what a great place to eat and we were not disappointed. The food is GREAT and the staff wonderful. Please take yourself for breakfast and enjoy yourselves as much as we did.

We gh friends for breakfast who are visiting for the weekend. We waited nearly 30 minutes before we asked how long our meals would be to be told that they had a lot of takeaway orders, only 2 staff cooking and that they were doing their best. I would think that orders should be cooked as requested and if the orders are backed up then to stop taking them, or at least advise that there was a long wait. However when our meals arrived they were of the usual standard and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

I have eaten in Posh Pigs many times over the years and have always been happy with the food and service. Most often I will order a 'small breakfast', which is by no means small. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The food is good for the price, typical of other cafes serving similar food. It's not a 'posh' setting inside the cafe, as it is fairly basic, but it is clean. The new outside eating area is very nice for the warmer days for eating alfresco.

Wow. Good, old-fashioned English fare, at its best. Want to enjoy British Grub as it used to be? Then this is where you should start. Huge portions at the right price. This is for me!

We have been back a few times now & love it here. We meet here as a family. Theres lots of space incl an outside area. Its always clean & most of the staff are friendly.

If you’re after a cooked breakfast this is the place. It must be good because at 11 o’clock on a Saturday morning the place is absolutely packed and your struggle to get a table any other time and you’ll be fine. Such a variety of different breakfasts on the menu and great value. Highly recommend.

Posh Pigs serves good food at very reasonable prices. Huge portions. It is always busy you may have to wait for a table but it is well worth it. Don’t be put off by name it’s not posh

Today was my first visit couldn’t believe the big portions that were hot and beautifully cooked not a bit of grease on the plate and it was all good quality sausage and bacon .The place it’s self was spotless and the staff were so friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble will definitely go back and wouldnt hesitate to recommend posh pigs

Frankly, I could only manage the "small" breakfast - then there are the medium and large! Nicely cooked, pleasant surroundings. I will eat again.

Good selection of food options, especially recommend the breakfast but the other meals looked just as good!Have been a few times and it has always been very good!If you are getting a big breakfast and want a few things taken off, i have found it was better and more cost effective to get a smaller breakfast and add the extras to it (not expensive). Will continue going back!

This came in way above expectations. For £11 we got 2 great full english breakfasts, with drink, in pleasant surroundings. Ok, it's in a trading estate, but it's decor doesn't reflect that. The breakfast was good - and properly hot - that almost never happens. Even the loos are lovely. Full range of sauces including brown! Staff are totally on the ball and pleasant. The only gristle in my sausage was, well... the teensiest bit of gristle in my sausage. Could happen anywhere, to be fair, so still gets the full five in my book.

Best place for breakfast- always been weekends and never realised the great specials boards for lunch. Liver and bacon, roasts and pies. Great home cooked proper food well cooked, great value and friendly service. 8-2 each and every day. Heartily recommended.

Best breakfast in Anglia and South England. It is fresh filling and worth traveling to get. Service is quick and friendly.

Met up with motorcycle group here before ride out . Tucked away in an industrial estate, lots of parking . Spotlessly clean including the poshest toilets seen in cafe on an industrial site! High quality of food with generous portions and really great value had a small full breakfast for a fiver that had ot least one of everything including sliced bread! Busy place demonstrates how good it is . Little mix up on the service meant it took a while to come but we understand from regulars it's not the norm and we got an extra tea. Brilliant place to meet up and get a propper honest breakfast, snack or lunch.

Found this place as a stop over for lunch whilst travelling from Norwich to Southwold. It is located in an industrial estate. It is clean airy, nicely furnished, clean and most importantly dogs are allowed inside too.

They offer a good choice of breakfasts. Lunches and deserts. Staff are very friendly and polite . Place is very clean . Toilets are clean. Well recommend this place. .

We visited today for the first time and within a few seconds knew this will become a regular place for us to enjoy breakfast, lunch or just a hot drink and cake. Fantastic menu to cater for those wanting a traditional breakfast, a breakfast bap, a light lunch or a full roast or other main meal specials. The toastie, bacon and sausage bap and medium breakfast were all superb as was the mugs of tea. The roast dinner that was served to a nearby table also looked delicious. All portion sizes were generous and good value for money. The cakes including lemon and coffee also looked delicious. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Services was very quick. We were able to choose from tables either inside or outside, all of which were clean and tidy. I am sure in the winter it will feel a very cosy and welcome sanctuary from the cold! Well done Posh Pigs you have shown us how a cafe should be run!

Breakfast is not what it used to be. Nice sausages but overdone. Bacon thick & undercooked. Eggs half of the white chopped off. Fried bread tiny end of crust. Beans cheap as you could find. Tomato cold and not cooked hardly at all- was inedible as was so raw. Hash browns good though...£7 for a medium without a cuppa included - a bit over priced! Spoons at least serves up Heinz beans with there’s and much tastier. Very noisy when the place is full- not sure what the fuss is all about, it was not good!

…. well they'd hit it off with this one. Not the most salubrious of locations, being on an industrial estate, but look beyond that, to the huge outdoor benches with sun or shade, the enormously friendly staff, the coffee/tea from £1 a mug, and, well, those breakfasts. Menu the size of a novel, but the' simple' Full Breakfast came in 3 sizes, and my medium, for £7 I think it was, was enough for the hungriest appetite, with two of everything you can think of. They also do a large for a couple of pounds more, but I'm afraid that it would've put more than a couple of pounds on me. Lovely way to while away an hour over a scrumptious brekky.

This is the place I have eaten many times for their breakfasts and weekday lunches. Their breakfast and lunch time menu is traditionally British. The ingredients they use are good quality and locally sourced, but this is a café on an industrial Park. Everywhere is clean and tidy and so are the loo’s.

Busy, busy, busy !!! a very good breakfast in a very nice café, served by very nice, fully experienced staff !!!

Called in for a coffee and a bite to eat whilst down in the area, very clean, friendly service and couldn't fault the food, nicely cooked and presented ,and plenty of it!!!. Will certainly revisit if back in that area in the future and have already recommended it to work colleagues for when they visit the area.

Really nice surprise as had no idea what to expect, very clean and tidy, decent food, nicely cooked, great value for money, and we will visit again. Excellent loos too.

Sat outside with our dogs and had a breakfast if needed we could have gone inside with them to eat our food, I was a nice day so sat outside in a lovely covered area with very nice furniture. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Will go back.

The best breakfast in Norfolk. Easy to find if you are a local, a little more difficult if you are visiting the area.

Brilliant choice of food, especially for breakfast. Very good portion sizes & great value for money. If you aren't into breakfast, try their home made lunches which are also very good. Quick service & always with a smile. Especially nice to sit out on the terrace on a sunny day.

Very very good value, there breakfast are small,medium & large! I had a small, & that was big for me! Egg sausage,bacon,beans mushrooms & an extra of black pudding whew! Highly recommend brilliant going again very soon.

Great breakfasts with loads of choices and different sized breakfasts. Quick service and quick turn around so never much of a wait even at its busiest. Great mug of tea too! Lots of parking available plus outside seating for the warmer weather. Would recommend to anyone who loves a good English breakfast.

Recommended by our son Sean, otherwise we wouldn't have known where it was. We were surprised how busy it was on a Bank Holiday Monday, and surprised by the choices on the menu. The prices were good, the staff friendly, and an excellent breakfast. What more could I want.

Absolutely fabulous. Been here a couple of times. Very traditional English breakfast but so well cooked, piping hot when the plate comes to table, friendly and so reasonably priced. Local produce in many cases. Greasy spoon it isn't! Loved it. Do a great veggies breakfast. In some respects it's a shame it isn't closer to the town centre and based on an industrial estate. You've got to go out of your way to find it but it is a great find!!!

My family and I come to Posh Pigs fairly often. Haven’t had a bad breakfast there once. Great price for what you get and quick service. Just what you want when you’re hungry and you’ve just woken up!! Can’t wait to go back again.

We have been here dozens of time and have never had a bad meal. Food is always cooked just right and quick service despite this being a popular eating place. Would highly recommend to all.

Took Granddad out for his lunch on Saturday.We always try different places. I've been told a lot of times how excellent Posh Pigs is and that I should go. It lived up to it's reputation and was lovely. Its was packed so they say it all in our book. The girl who served us was lovely and making sure the tea strength was ok for us. Blimey never been asked that before. Our brunch came out, there was plenty of it and cooked lovely. Anyone who hasn't been must go you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff.

Yes another great breakfast here. This is a great experience, all you would expect for a full English breakfast with tea or coffee. Good tasting sausage and bacon and I particularly love the tomatoes which have been slightly caramelised in the cooking.They serve small, medium and large portions, but don't get too carried away, the large is VERY large.

This place was recommended by a friend so thought we would try it out. Food was really good along with the prices. Will deff be going back again.

Wife has been before, but this was my first visit. Being a Monday lunchtime, it wasn't as busy as it sometimes gets. Service was excellent, and my "medium" breakfast was bigger than many other place's "large". Hygiene looks good evidenced by no manky bits round the tops of the sauce bottles. One of the best (if not the best) fry-ups I've ever had, and all at a very reasonable price. I'll be back.

I had heard about the place for ages but knowing it is in a shed made mr think I had no chance in getting in. I was dragged there by my mum and sister on a nice day so that we could sit outside if I couldn't get in.There is an unmarked gravel carpark, so parking on a busy day would be the only problem. While it is in a shed, that shed is huge and has a slope leading to the door which is wide enough for a wide chair. There is plenty of room around the tables and it is all tables and chairs, no booths that you can't move or get around.You can see the kitchen, and can see that it is clean. The breakfast was lovely. I had a small, but that was large enough. They were happy to swap out the fried bread (hate it) for more toast. It was even a fair price. They sell a medium and Large !!!! no idea who could eat that and I am overweight!. Anyway - as a manual chair user I would say you can get in, but maybe save it for a less busy day. If you use crutches, don't plan on parking close - go with someone who can drop you near and go park the car. It is all gravel, though has been compacted with cars.

Mediocre breakfast, meat was lacking in quality, the hash browns however were very good. Coffee is instant which is an awful let down. Service was fairly slow and whilst not unpleasant, the staff weren't particularly friendly as you'd expect in a greasy spoon. Not as cheap as you'd think either!!!! Wouldn't go again.
