Had the most amazing afternoon tea with my daughter on Mother’s Day. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! The staff were very hard working and extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They obviously really enjoy their jobs and take much pride in their work. It most definitely beats some of the upmarket venues both in quality and service! We will without doubt be back in the summer to sample more offerings in the lovely beachfront location.

Called in for breakfast. Waitress was very polite and pleasant. She apologized immediately and said there would be a wait for food as they were so busy. Ordered two full English breakfasts and a tea and coffee. The drinks came over quickly. I had the vanilla tea, which was loose in a pot and came with a strainer, great tasting tea. The food only took about 10 mins to come and was lovely. Nice quality sausage, two thick rashers of bacon, hash brown, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. The toast was 2 slices of nice uncut bread, very thickly sliced. All in all a lovely breakfast.

I often go to this tea room, mainly for tea and scones but I have had the soup in the past which was delicious. The only downside for me is that I can't take my dog in but I do fully understand why. I sit in the garden with my dog and watch the world go by. If it is cold weather I leave my dog in the car as the carpark is a short stroll away. I highly recommend you visit when you are in Lowestoft, it is a little gem.

Walking along the seafront we decided to stop here for lunch. We sat in the lovely garden where we could look out towards the sea. We chose the pork and pickle platter which was delicious. Lovely pork pie, sausage roll and thickly cut ham off the bone all served with lovely fresh salad and bread. The service was very good and the staff were friendly. Very reasonable prices on all the food and a varied selection to choose from. Well worth the five stars given and would definitely recommend.

Out for a walk along the prom, we decided to stop here for lunch. We ordered crab sandwiches and prawn sandwiches, together with two cups of coffee. On ordering I asked whether I should wait for the coffee and the very friendly young lady said it was okay, it would be brought outside to our table. We had been sitting there only a few minutes when two young ladies came out, one with a tray containing two cups of coffee, together with a lidded jar of sugar cubes and a pair of tongs. And the other young lady carrying a tray on which were our sandwiches. I had not expected our food to arrive so quickly. The sandwiches came with salad dressing and a small pot of coleslaw. We shared the sandwiches between us and agreed the crab sandwiches were absolutely delicious, very full of crab meat and very moist. The prawn sandwiches also were crammed with filling and delicious. The coffee was some of the best we have ever tasted and stayed hot (and frothy) right until the last drop. It was lovely to sit in sunny surroundings with a sea view, enjoying a beautiful day with first class service.

My husband and I visited Flying Fifteens tearooms on the first day of the Platinum Jubilee weekend. As the weather was sunny and warm we thought it might be full but we were pleasantly surprised to find a free table outside. There was some lovely piano and then trumpet music playing softly in the background which I thought was a lovely touch. The food and drink was served fairly promptly and was tasty and enjoyable; and the staff were friendly and polite. We were told by our waitress that the Red Arrows would fly over in about 10 minutes. This unexpected event made us enjoy our experience there even more. The chairs were comfortable and we could easily have stayed all afternoon. We will be returning. Thanks to the staff for making our visit so pleasurable.

Tea was served in a teapot complete with strainer all with matching cups ,saucers, milk jug. The sandwich came with a very fresh side salad. None of your “plastic” ham here but freshly carved ham. To cap it all the toilets were very clean with hot water , soap and a dryer that actually dried your hands. We will certainly seek this gem of a place when next in the area.

Our birthday girl booked this venue for our group to celebrate her special day. Four of our large party ordered afternoon tea which looked both delicious and substantial. The rest opted for jacket potatoes with different fillings washed down with glasses of wine or pots of tea. The owner and staff were both courteous and helpful in that we had the restaurant, towards the end of opening times, to ourselves. The owner even cracked a funny joke which we enjoyed. It was really great sitting in the warm confines of the restaurant looking out of the windows to the bright, but cold, choppy sea view. This was an excellent choice by our birthday girl. So fortunate to have such a great local venue.

We visited the Flying Fifteens this afternoon after a gap of a couple of years. The service and food (toasties, strawberry scone, tea) were delicious and faultless but we were disappointed that the garden wasn’t as inviting as in the past. I know the cafe has just come out of lockdown but I would have just bought a few bedding plants to brighten the two empty front flowerbeds. Just a picky small point but it’s visual appearance always made it feel as if you were sitting in someone’s garden and attracted people to go in ...though it was busy this afternoon.

I've heard a lot about the Flying 15's and how nice it was. I took a friend there on Saturday for a lunch. Sadly I must say we were both disappointed. Walking in felt very cramped as there is 2 rows of 4's tables on the right. They were pushed close together and you had to be careful about the people sitting behind you. We asked for a black coffee and a latte. The latte was more like instant coffee with milk that had been frothed up in a jug than a proper latte. The coffee my friend's coffee was instant as well. Yet up near the window was a 2 ladies who had a caffita. My friend was not asked if she wanted a caffita coffee. There was a lady who works there who was quite loud when she spoke and it was hard to hear yourself when she did. It's in a lovely position right on the front with the an amazing views of the beach and sea. We were going to have cake but decided to go else where for it in the end. I not sure I would go back again. There are so many eateries about now a days. You have to get it just right.

This is a nice tearoom with a good view. The cakes were really nice and reasonably priced. The waiters were also helpful when a seagull decided to deload onto our table. I would come back again.

We visited the tearoom for a lunch break. The staff were very helpful and efficient as we missed the ordering system. A proper lunch took a step back as we found the "homemade scones with jam, cream and fresh strawberries". The tea / coffee was served in proper China cups.Seated in the garden, we thoroughly enjoyed the who eating experience and it was not expensive for what we had. The interior of the tearoom had gifts, cards and various tea for sale. Just a lovely place on the sea front to enjoy meal.

Lovely homemade food with great service. I come here as often as I can and have never had a bad meal. Lovely china cups, traditional tea pot and cake stands. Staff always friendly. Shame they are not open all year round!! (can recommend their soups of the day with a homemade cheese scone)

If you like elegance this tea shop will suit you. China cups and saucers, hot water jugs and great service. Lots of lovely cakes to choose. Scones made fresh each day and served with fresh strawberries and cream. On a hot summers day, sitting in the garden overlooking the sea, is sheer bliss. Like me you will return time and again.

This small tea shop, is certainly one of the best I've visited! With friendly staff and management and a lovely sea view to have lunch or afternoon tea with. The sandwiches are very nice and filled to the brim with fillings as well as a side salad. A wide variety of vegetarian-friendly dishes. The last time I had the salad baguette, the baguette still warm from the oven with butter melting slightly is great. Along with the home-made cakes done by management, very tasty! I had the bake well tart, with a crumbly pastry with a strong but not overpowering almond flavour, I would have it again! Go here every time we visit Lowestoft (coming on the days we know Flying Fifteens is open!)

This place was recommended to us and so we went along to try the delights. Wow were we impressed. It is only a small place with a limited number of covers. They do however ensure people are served in order of arrival which I was impressed by. The food was excellent, we only stopped for a snack at lunch time and were glad we stopped here. The food is not exotic but simple plain good home cooking. Nothing was too much trouble. The cakes are really out of this world and so to stop for a coffee and a piece of cake would be well worth it.

Lovely tea room for a pleasant stop off along the promenade. My husband and I stopped here after trapsing along the front looking for somewhere that offered a gluten free option. After entering a rather posh looking place further up where the young staff looked at me blankly we found this little gem with its very pretty garden overlooking the sea.The young staff member was friendly and was able to quote straight off what gluten free options were available. We both had a yummy hot chocolate with cream and a scone with jam and more cream. Very yummy indeed!Something as simple as offering a gluten free scone on the menu made my day as not many places offer this. This place is worth a visit!

a great little tea rooms right on the front with sea views from the neat and tidy front lawns.if you love proper tea leaves in your tea pot this is the place to go. all of this is served with china cups, teapots, and sugar pots including sugar tongs (didn't even know they still did these!). The food is excellent even a simple cheese toasties are served with salad. I had a Cromer crab sandwich and it was superb. they don't have a lot of space, but they use it wisely. The place has a unhurried and relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very efficient and pleasant to deal with. A truly great place to visit.

Lovely little tea room overlooking Lowestoft Beach. The sound of the sea and happy hub of fellow diners make for a delightful setting. Crab is filling, bacon sandwich fine - waitresses get five stars for their sunny disposition and pleasant service. We'll come back again to try the famous strawberry meringues. Reasonable food but don't dare deviate from the menu - there's no mix and match on offer no matter how much extra you offer to pay! I was amused by the terms of engagement set out in the menu - though this did create some discord between some and resulted in a row between two parties one of whom had a table and no number and the other who (had visited before and knew he strict system) had a number but no table. Regrettably words were exchanged and the former stomped off!

There is a rather strange system for serving people here, but it seems to work. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the food was good and beautifully presented, but what made the place stand out for me was the tea. There was a fine selection of proper tea at a reasonable price and with tasting notes. I had Formosan oolong, which was only one of a really fine selection. So often cafes have bog standard teabags with Earl Grey or fruit teas for those who don't like it, but here there was a real choice, well served even with a mini egg timer to check it was properly brewed. For those who don't care about the tea, its still pleasant sitting in he garden looking over the sea,
